The hummingbird brooch had faded slightly, caused by Alan's frequent touching. Ariel suddenly shed a tear and immediately wiped it clean.
Allen: "Has the Jazz document been issued?"
Ariel: "It's been decided, Hades will be the next knight."
Allen: "That's good. You got what you wanted. I'm happy for you."
Ariel: "No... Ellen... don't say that."
Allen: "Ariel, I already have Liao Qian. I told my brother to treat you well."
Ariel: "But your brother isn't you, Alan."
Allen: "We look alike."
Ariel: "It's different."
Allen: "The titles are the same, Ariel. You love my brother, and my brother loves you too. I withdrew back then because I wanted to make things right for you both."
Ariel: "But I love you too, Ellen."
Allen: "I will keep you in my heart. Liao Qian is the only one in my heart."
Ariel: "Are you going to China with him?"
Allen: "If he takes me back, I will go."
Ariel: "Can you come home and live here, back in Newspender Castle?"
Allen: "No, my Hertz Castle is very nice. You can visit Hertz Castle with my brother and Hades."
Ariel: "You're still blaming me, blaming me and Guli for betraying you."
Allen: "Liao Qian and I also betrayed you, Ariel, I don't blame you. I will love Hades as my own child. The clothes I made for you have been sent to the car parked in front of your door."
Ariel: "Mom and Dad miss you so much."
Allen: "If they don't stop Liao Qian and me, I'll go back to see them. I'll take Liao Qian back to Rabbit Heart Castle to see them."
Ariel: "Guli has always been hung up on Liao Qian."
Allen: "I know that my brother and I always like the same things. He likes to take what's mine, and I like to take what's his. But many things are set in stone now, and we can no longer childishly take away the people we love from each other."
Ariel: "You've always been a member of the Newsport family. Dad tore up your expulsion papers."
Allen: "It's not important. I'll go back to Rabbit Heart Castle, but I won't stay there permanently. I hope you'll make more soup for my brother; he likes Liao Qian's calming soup."
Ariel: "I will. I'll make the calming soup."
Ariel nodded with relief and told Allen about what had happened at Newsport over the past two years, as well as the mischievous Hades. Allen smiled and nodded in response. A call came from Rabbit Heart Castle; Hades' tutor had arrived, and Ariel wanted to take him back for lessons. Hades politely kissed Allen, and Ariel carried him away. In her car were clothes Allen had made for her and Hades, meticulously sewn stitch by stitch. Ariel touched them and could feel the love Allen had poured into them.
Hades: "Hello, Daddy. Hello, Uncle."
Ariel: "Let's go home and make some calming soup for your father, and wait for your uncle to come home."
Hades: "Okay."
