On the red sandalwood coffee table sat fresh fruits and a cup of tea, the aroma of which filled the air, with wisps of white smoke rising from the steam.
Jiang Lirong, dressed in an elegant handmade suit, stood with his hands behind his back, admiring the landscape paintings and calligraphy on the wall, a satisfied smile on his lips.
Just then, soft footsteps approached.
Jiang Lirong immediately turned around and saw Ning Lang dressed in loose, casual clothes. Her snow-white sweater made her skin look even whiter than snow, and she was so beautiful and charming that he couldn't help but stare at her for a moment.
Ning Lang approached with a smile, "What brings you here, senior? Why didn't you tell me beforehand?"
Jiang Lirong snapped out of his reverie and smiled gently, "I had something urgent that I wanted to ask you for confirmation. I wanted to hear the answer with my own ears, so I came as soon as possible. It was presumptuous of me to bother your esteemed residence on New Year's Eve."
Ning Lang raised an eyebrow and said, "It's alright. What do you want to ask, senior? What's the matter that's so urgent?"
He looked at her excitedly and asked, "Ah Lang, are you going back to N country? I heard from Liu Yingying that you entrusted several medicinal cuisine restaurants to a foundation to manage, and booked a flight to N country, planning to stay there for a long time."
