Happy birthday
Today is Jiang Yan's birthday.
Xu Chuwan took the day off today to celebrate Jiang Yan's birthday.
In the morning, Xu Chuwan planned to go to the mall with Zhang Jiye after breakfast to pick out some things to buy as a gift for Jiang Yan.
After breakfast, Zhang Jiye asked Xu Chuwan, "Chuanwan, what size clothes does Auntie usually wear?"
"Why are you asking this?" Xu Chuwan asked Zhang Jiye curiously.
"I plan to buy clothes for my aunt when I go to the mall later," Zhang Jiye explained.
“Sizes M-XL,” Xu Chuwan said.
"Okay, I understand. Let's go." Zhang Jiye took Xu Chuwan's hand and walked out of the house, then drove off.
The car pulled up in front of the store, and Xu Chuwan and Zhang Jiye walked into the mall.
Xu Chuwan went to each store to pick out clothes. She knew that Jiang Yan didn't like those colorful clothes. Jiang Yan preferred simple and plain clothes, preferably without any decorations.
After browsing for more than half an hour, Xu Chuwan finally found an outfit that would suit Jiang Yan.
After paying, they walked out of the mall.
As they walked, Zhang Jiye saw Gu Ming (Note: Gu Ming is the name of a real-life milk tea shop) and stopped. He lowered his voice and asked Xu Chuwan, "Want some milk tea?"
"Drink." Xu Chuwan said without the slightest hesitation.
Zhang Jiye led Xu Chuwan into the milk tea shop. When the shop assistant saw them coming, she quickly smiled and asked them, "What would you like to drink, handsome guy and beautiful lady?"
Zhang Jiye asked Xu Chuwan in a low voice, "What would you like to drink?"
"What would you like to drink?" Xu Chuwan asked Zhang Jiye in return.
"I'll drink whatever you drink," Zhang Jiye said nonchalantly.
"Hello, could I have a jasmine milk green tea?" Xu Chuwan said to the waitress.
"So, handsome, what would you like to drink?" the waitress asked Zhang Jiye.
“Just like her, I drink jasmine milk green tea,” Zhang Jiye said casually.
"Here's the thing, we have a special event today, so we're offering a discount of two yuan off two cups of milk tea. But first, you need to tell me one of your phone numbers to get a discount card," the shop assistant said to the two of them.
"Tie me up, 1875322110," Zhang Jiye said to the shop assistant, enunciating each word clearly.
The shop assistant listened as Zhang Jiye called out the numbers one by one and entered them onto the counter. After she finished, she said to the two of them, "Okay, after deducting these two yuan, it's eighteen yuan."
Just as Xu Chuwan was about to scan the QR code to pay, Zhang Jiye stopped her. Xu Chuwan asked him, "What are you doing?"
"What are you going to pay for? I'll pay." Zhang Jiye paid before she could.
"..."
Xu Chuwan and Zhang Jiye found a seat and sat down. As they sat down, Xu Chuwan couldn't help but ask Zhang Jiye, "Why do you drink whatever I drink?"
Zhang Jiye heard the question but did not speak.
"Is it because... you like me a lot?" Xu Chuwan mustered up her courage and asked Zhang Jiye.
“No,” Zhang Jiye replied.
Does he not like me?
Xu Chuwan thought to herself.
"It's not just that I like you a lot, it's that I love you a lot." Zhang Jiye looked at Xu Chuwan and said, word by word.
He was saying sweet nothings again.
"Why do you always say such sweet things?" Xu Chuwan asked him.
“I just like talking to you. Tell me what to do, huh?” Zhang Jiye raised his eyes to look at Xu Chuwan, and Xu Chuwan met his gaze.
"..."
"What illness do you have?" Xu Chuwan asked him.
At the same time, the lyrics of the song "Wishing You Love Me Until the End of Time," which was playing in the store, reached its climax: "What exactly is the illness?"
What exactly is the illness?
I'm most prone to getting distracted as dusk approaches.
"A desolate heart, earnestly devoted."
The land is alluring.
I always want to give you the sweetest look in my eyes.
"I don't want to pretend to be reserved and miss out on a chance encounter."
How many hours until you love me again?
How many hours until you love me again?

“Love, your, symptoms.” Zhang Jiye’s expression and tone were very natural, and then he continued, “I must have been sent by God to love you.”
"I don't know why, but I just like to say sweet things to you, but all I know is that I don't just like you, I love you." Zhang Jiye gazed at Xu Chuwan and said, word by word.
When Zhang Jiye first saw Xu Chuwan, he immediately felt that she was definitely not like other girls; she stood out from the crowd.
She is more mature than other girls her age, and her mental resilience is stronger than other girls.
She is also quite awkward and doesn't like to talk, but she is very sincere to her friends.
She also has a very good temper.
The moment Zhang Jiye saw her, he felt that they would have many stories together in the future, and he quietly fell in love with her.
Because he had fallen for her, he wanted to guide her, to get closer to her, and to be just a little bit closer to her.
He kept thinking: Will Xu Chuwan ever fall in love with him?
Unexpectedly, Xu Chuwan fell in love with him so easily because of his step-by-step guidance.
For the six years he and Xu Chuwan were separated, he thought of her every moment.
He was afraid she would fall for someone else.
He thought to himself: even if he saw Xu Chuwan again, and she didn't like him and had fallen for someone else, it wouldn't matter. He could silently love her for the rest of his life.
To his surprise, the day after they reunited, after he successfully reconciled with her, the girl confessed her feelings to him.
He was very happy at that time, but also a little heartbroken.
The reason he felt sorry for his girl was that she had secretly loved him for so long in vain, and had also liked him for so many years.
Fortunately, his cautious, unrequited love was reciprocated.
He really wanted to have a home with Xu Chuwan and a baby of their own.
He had already decided what to name the child.
Before Zhang Jiye could react, Xu Chuwan kissed him on the cheek for a second and then let go.
Zhang Jiye heard a girl's soft voice whisper in his ear: "I love you too, my Aye."
Zhang Jiye looked up at the girl in front of him, her eyes crinkling with laughter, and she looked very beautiful when she smiled.
At this moment, Zhang Jiye finally understood a line from the song "Red High Heels": "How can I best describe you? What can I compare you to to make you special?"
Loving someone never needs any so-called reason.
Love is a matter between two people; it is about fulfilling each other's needs and taking responsibility.
After Xu Chuwan and Zhang Jiye picked up the milk tea, they went to Jiang Yan's house.
Upon arriving at Jiang Yan's house, Xu Chuwan immediately saw Jiang Xia, who had always been targeting her.
Jiang Xia also clearly saw Xu Chuwan, and Zhang Jiye next to Xu Chuwan.
"Oh, Xu Chuwan, is this your boyfriend?" Jiang Xia still looked at Xu Chuwan with a mocking gaze.
"What's it to you, Jiang Xia?" Xu Chuwan said to Jiang Xia in a cold tone.
Jiang Xia was speechless after hearing Xu Chuwan's words.
At this moment, a strange man appeared—Xu Chuwan guessed that this was Jiang Yan's remarried man.
"Is this Wanwan?" The man smiled when he saw Xu Chuwan.
Xu Chuwan nodded and politely said, "Hello, Uncle."
"Hello, hello, my name is Lin Fang, you can just call me Uncle Lin." The man looked kind and friendly.
"Okay, Uncle Lin."
"Wanwan, who is this person next to you...?" Lin Fang noticed Zhang Jiye standing next to him and wondered who he was.
"Hello Uncle Lin, I'm Wanwan's boyfriend, my name is Zhang Jiye." Zhang Jiye responded to Lin Fang in a generous manner.
"Oh, so you're Wanwan's boyfriend! Welcome, welcome!" Lin Fang was exceptionally enthusiastic. He glanced at Zhang Jiye and thought to himself, "That kid's pretty handsome." Then he smiled and said to Zhang Jiye, "You're quite a handsome young man."
"Uncle, you flatter me." Zhang Jiye scratched the back of his head somewhat "modestly."
"You're really handsome, so don't be modest."
"Really? Thank you, Uncle Lin."
"Looking at it this way, Wanwan is also exceptionally beautiful," Lin Fang praised Xu Chuwan again.
"Thank you for the compliment, Uncle Lin," Xu Chuwan said to Lin Fang.
When Zhang Jiye heard Lin Fang praising his daughter, the corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up in a wide smile.
"From now on, your uncle will call you 'Xiao Ye,' okay?" Lin Fang said to Zhang Jiye.
“Sure, Uncle, you can call me whatever you want,” Zhang Jiye said nonchalantly.
"OK."
Lin Fang was more like their peer, chatting with Zhang Jiye.
As the two men chatted, Lin Fang smiled and asked Zhang Jiye, "I still don't know what your favorite thing is?"
“Her,” Zhang Jiye said earnestly, pointing to Xu Chuwan sitting on the sofa beside him.
He then added, "Besides her, there's no one else I like."
Zhang Jiye then noticed that Xu Chuwan's face had quietly turned red.
Zhang Jiye chuckled softly.
This girl is really easily embarrassed.
Just then, Jiang Yan, who was in the kitchen, finished cooking and came out. She saw Zhang Jiye, whom she had met at the hospital last time, and greeted him with a smile: "Xiao Ye, you're here."
Zhang Jiye hummed in agreement, then said to Jiang Yan, "Hello, Auntie."
Zhang Jiyue picked up the gift he had prepared for Jiang Yan from the table, handed it to her, and said, "This is a birthday present for you. Happy birthday, Auntie."
Jiang Yan was taken aback; she hadn't expected Zhang Jiye to be so polite to her.
"Thank you so much, Auntie, Xiaoye." Jiang Yan smiled and accepted the gift from Zhang Jiye.
"Mom, I've also prepared a gift for you." Xu Chuwan handed the gold bracelet she had chosen for Jiang Yan to Jiang Yan.
"Thank you, Wanwan." Jiang Yan accepted Xu Chuwan's gold bracelet with a smile.
"Auntie, thank you," Zhang Jiye said to Jiang Yan.
"Why are you thanking me, child?" Jiang Yan asked, somewhat puzzled.
"Thank you for giving birth to such a wonderful girl," Zhang Jiye replied to Jiang Yan.
Jiang Yan smiled.
Jiang Yan felt that her daughter was very lucky to have someone who loved her so much.
Everyone was happily eating and chatting at the dinner table.
After the meal, Jiang Yan saw Xu Chuwan and Zhang Jiye off, saying to them, "Come again next time you have time!"
Xu Chu persuaded Jiang Yan to stay: "Okay, Mom."
Watching Jiang Yan leave, Zhang Jiye took Xu Chuwan's hand and said to her, "Let's go, Chuwan."
"Let's go home."
"Okay, let's go home."
