Chapter 17: It's really weird

“No, no!”

Zhao Xiaoyang shook his head and said frankly: "Grandpa planted a few tea trees in the back mountain. Now they are all ready for picking, so I want to get some to give to my friends!"

"Oh, I see."

Xu Jianguo smiled and said, "That's easy, let Jiaojiao get it for you!"

"Jiaojiao?"

Xu Jianguo raised his neck and shouted again, "What are you doing in the house all the time, girl? Hurry up and get your brother Xiaoyang some tea cans!"

"It's okay, uncle, I can get it myself."

Zhao Xiaoyang stood up as he spoke, and Xu Jiaojiao hurried out, saying shyly, "Brother Xiaoyang, how about I go with you?"

"Hey, no need. I just came to tell my uncle. It's not a big deal."

Zhao Xiaoyang waved his hand, greeted Xu Jianguo and Xu Jiaojiao, and then went to the packaging workshop.

"Girl, you excitedly told me yesterday that Xiaoyang was back, but why are you too embarrassed to come out and see people today?"

After Zhao Xiaoyang left, Xu Jianguo twisted his mouth, and Xu Jiaojiao's pretty face suddenly turned red, and she pouted.

"Dad, what are you talking about? Who's embarrassed? I'm busy with the shipping report!"

"Haha, okay, when you have time, go visit Xiaoyang and ask Dad if he's landed any big clients since he came back to start his own business this time."

Xu Jianguo pointed outside and said, "Xiaoyang has been a smart kid since he was young. He must have found some supply channels now, so he suddenly came back to start a business."

"You have a good relationship with him. If you find out anything, tell Dad. Then Dad can help you make money together with your brother Xiaoyang."

"Tsk, it's obviously you who wants to do Brother Xiaoyang's business, and you still want to take him with you?"

Xu Jiaojiao rolled her eyes at her father.

Xu Jianguo immediately shook his head: "Hey, girl, how can you talk to Dad like that?"

"You don't know how difficult it is to do business nowadays. There are so many scammers out there. Xiaoyang is still young after all and has little social experience. It's safest to have me help check things out."

"Otherwise, if he stumbles, he might be devastated!"

Xu Jiaojiao's expression froze after hearing this, and she said nervously, "Dad, is this true?"

Xu Jianguo nodded and said as a matter of course: "Look, he came here today to pick up a few jars to give to his friends. He's probably just testing the waters. We haven't officially started cooperation yet."

"Be good and ask in a couple of days, so that your brother Xiaoyang won't suffer any loss!"

"Oh well!"

Xu Jiaojiao finally nodded, and then said seriously: "Dad, don't cheat Brother Xiaoyang, otherwise I won't forgive you."

Hearing this, Xu Jianguo said with a bit of a smile: "Girl, is your father such a person?"

"Tsk, haven't you taken away the tea factory's business in the village?" Xu Jiaojiao said disapprovingly.

"That's not the same thing. The village is the village, the factory is the factory. That's called business."

Xu Jianguo shook his head. "Xiaoyang is Xiaoyang. If I dare to betray Xiaoyang, I'll be stabbed in the back for Mr. Zhao's reputation."

"That's right!" Xu Jiaojiao smiled.

"Besides, your dad is not exaggerating, he is still an elder after all. Is he really going to take advantage of Xiaoyang?"

"Okay, okay, I got it."

"Okay, keep this in mind. A client will be coming later, and I'll take him to the village orchard."

"oh."

Xu Jiaojiao curled her lips, knowing that Xu Jianguo was going to help the village "sell goods" again.

Zhao Xiaoyang came out of the workshop with two bags in his hands. One side contained a large tea canister of one pound, and the other side contained half a pound of tea.

When he was leaving, Xu Jianguo just happened to drive out and rolled down the window and shouted.

"Xiaoyang, where are you going? I'll give you a ride."

"No, Uncle Jianguo, I just happened to be visiting my uncle's house."

"Okay, talk to me if you have anything to say. Especially if you're doing business, if you want to start a business, then work hard. If you encounter any problems, you can come and discuss it with me."

"Okay, thank you Uncle Jianguo."

Zhao Xiaoyang smiled and watched Xu Jianguo drive away.

When I passed by Zhao Yuanfang's house, I saw that the door was locked. I guessed that my uncle had gone to bed, so I just let it go.

On the way back to the back mountain, when passing by a cherry orchard, I saw Zhao Yuanfang and Liu Sanfeng busy in the orchard.

There was also a burly man sitting astride a tricycle, rubbing his head in confusion and pointing at the cherry tree in front of him.

"Hey, Yuan Fang, this is really weird. Why do the cherries in your garden grow better than those in other gardens?"

"Haha, it's not bad. It wasn't growing very well a few days ago, but after I injected some medicine, it started to grow quickly."

Zhao Yuanfang said happily, and at the same time glanced at Liu Sanfeng with a slightly smug look, as if he was feeling quite proud.

"Yeah, that's why I said it was weird. It was pretty much the same before."

Zhao Si muttered, "Could it be that the trees the old man left behind are better? Different from ours?"

"That's enough, Zhao Si! You can't grow your own crops well, and you blame others for growing them well?"

As Zhao Si was muttering, a middle-aged man standing next to him, with his jacket open and fanning himself with a large straw hat, responded with a smile.

Zhao Xiaoyang took a look and realized that it was none other than Ahua's father, Liu Yuejin.

Liu Yuejin said proudly: "Look, ours is also grown by ourselves. I think it's similar to Yuan Fang's."

Hearing this, Zhao Si looked at the Liu family's cherry orchard not far away and felt even more helpless.

Because there really is a field over there that looks just like the one at Zhao Yuanfang's house, with plump fruits and an attractive luster.
