Chapter 37 09.10/This is the first update. You don’t need to know his...

After saying that, he looked her up and down, then raised his foot towards her, as if he was going to walk towards her.

Chu Song quickly took a half step back and apologized again: "I'm sorry, it was dark and I didn't notice. I won't bother you anymore."

She bowed slightly, then turned and walked in another direction towards the building where she lived.

As he stepped out of the garden, he bumped into another person head-on. Chu Song was startled and instantly jumped back half a step.

The reason she was so startled was that Fan Tingnian's manor was too dark. She would definitely suggest to him tomorrow to get more lighting.

Before she could stand firmly, the person she bumped into supported her shoulders.

When I looked up again, I saw Fan Tingnian's face. He was wearing a dark gray shirt and, perhaps because of his work, he was wearing a pair of very abstinent frameless glasses.

His eyes fell through the lenses, perhaps because he had just seen her and had not had time to adjust his expression, his eyes were cold and indifferent, looking more frightening than his brother whom he had just met.

But before he could ask, Chu Song breathed a sigh of relief and leaned closer to him: "I think I met your brother just now."

She was indeed a little nervous just now, so she left right after saying hello.

On the one hand, it was because of the two questions the other party asked her, and on the other hand, it was because the light was too dim. At this time, meeting a strange man who was about 1.8 meters tall in an empty garden would indeed make people subconsciously want to leave.

Thinking about it now, she still felt a little scared and whispered to Fan Tingnian, "He seemed to hear me calling you."

Thinking that Fan Tingnian's brother was still in the garden behind him, Chu Song's fear of being caught came back. He glanced at his shoulders that were held by Fan Tingnian, took a half step back, and left his arms.

"Will there be any problems?" she asked in a low voice.

Fan Tingnian raised his hand, seemingly rubbing the back of her head, and then hugged her again from a distance. He then raised his eyes slightly and glanced behind her: "What's the problem?"

He smelled so good that Chu Song couldn't help but relax and ignored his hand that was barely touching her head.

But after thinking about it, she pulled his clothes and said, "Let's go back quickly."

There are people from Fan Tingnian's family everywhere here. If it's not her brother, then an uncle or aunt might suddenly appear. She still feels a little scared, like an "affair".

"Why are you always so scared?" The man raised his hand and rubbed her face.

Chu Song's thoughts were still not fully resolved. When she heard his words, she subconsciously said, "We can only talk for another month..."

Having said this, she realized what she had said and lowered her voice slightly.

She felt that Fan Tingnian should actually know that she would be leaving in less than a month, and the two of them could not maintain such a relationship forever.

She looked up and saw that Fan Tingnian's expression had not changed. She breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that he should have been prepared for the end of their relationship.

"Yeah." Fan Tingnian helped her tuck the loose hair behind her ears and responded.

They were going to get married soon after that, and he didn't like long-term relationships.

Chu Song tugged at his clothes again: "Shall we go? I want to go back. It's a bit cold here."

There is a restaurant on the floor where Fan Tingnian lives, and the chef is in the next room. Whatever he wants to eat will be prepared at any time. If he doesn't want to come to the restaurant, it will be delivered to his bedroom.

When Chu Song quietly followed him to his room, he was still struggling with what had just happened in the garden.

She watched Fan Tingnian take off his glasses and pick up the communicator from the bedside, as if he was going to order food.

She walked closer and adjusted the glasses on his bedside table. She found that the glasses looked ordinary from this perspective, but for some reason they looked particularly sexy on his face.

She half leaned against his bedside table and asked unconsciously: "What's your brother's name?"

Fan Tingnian had already ordered the meal and looked up. Two seconds later, he put down the communicator and walked over. With his hands on the bedside table where she was sitting, he lifted her chin and asked, "Why are you asking him?"

Chu Song murmured "Ah" and answered truthfully: "I'm a little curious."

Maybe it was because he looked similar to Fan Ting, so Chu Song was subconsciously curious and asked his name.

She adjusted his glasses with her right hand and looked at Fan Tingnian: "His eyes are the same color as yours, but his pupils are a little lighter than yours. He looks good too."

Fan Tingnian lifted her chin and asked, "It looks good too?"

"Yes," Chu Song didn't notice his gaze, put down his glasses with his right hand, and responded, "I liked you because of your eyes at first..."

She turned around and praised with a smile: "They look like a pair of emeralds in the sunlight."

"Hmm..." The rest of her words were swallowed by Fan Tingnian.

He held her waist and lifted her up, bent down to kiss her, bit her lips, and when she felt pain, he pried open her lips and took over.

His kissing skills are getting better and better, or rather, they were good from the beginning, and now they are even more perfect, and his kisses are extremely passionate and serious.

The tip of his tongue hooked the tip of her tongue, allowing her tongue to explore his mouth, and then he rubbed the soft flesh of the inner wall of her mouth and her palate with the tip of his tongue. The hand that was supporting the back of her head turned to pinch her chin, and his thumb helped her wipe away the saliva that overflowed from the corner of her lips.

After a while, Chu Song's face was flushed from the kiss, and his legs were so weak that he could not stand.

His kissing now is almost like making love.

She tilted her head, breathing rapidly, her hands on his arms, and leaned into his arms.

"Do you still have the mind to think about other things?" he suddenly asked in a low voice.

Chu Song felt dizzy and had long forgotten what they were talking about before the kiss. He only remembered that he seemed to have ordered some food.

She pressed her right hand against her chest, gasped for breath, coughed twice, and asked, "Didn't you eat anything tonight..."

Fan Tingnian picked her up and placed her on the coffee table higher up against the wall: "Yeah."

Just as he finished speaking, Fan Tingnian got a call on his cell phone. He glanced at him and picked up the phone.

Chu Song saw him put the phone to his ear. A woman's voice came from the other side of the receiver. The two exchanged a few words. After a few minutes, Fan Tingnian hung up the phone and looked over. "My mother is in New York now and won't be back for a few days. She invited us to dinner."

“Wha…what?” Chu Song stuttered.

Why did she suddenly want to have dinner with Fan Tingnian's mother? She hadn't heard or understood it correctly; it was the Chinese word for "mother," right?

She jumped off the coffee table in fright: "Eat, why do you want to eat? Why are you eating with your mother?"

Fan Tingnian raised his hand and touched her face, explaining, "It's not just the three of us. There are also some of my family members and Shu Ang and the others. It's considered a family dinner."

"Shuang and the others?"

"My main staff will be here."

“That’s good…” Chu Song was so frightened that he gasped for breath, grabbing his hair and muttering, “I thought it was something else.”

As we were talking, the bedroom doorbell rang. It must be the staff who came to deliver the food.

Chu Song patted Fan Tingnian's shoulder and gestured towards the door: "It looks like your meal is here."

......

Chu Song didn't know why Fan Tingnian came here, but she couldn't help, so she stayed in the studio on the second floor for two consecutive days to work.

She still has some design tasks to complete and can't slack off just because she's here.

There are several rooms on the easternmost side of the second floor that serve as offices for the design team, but since Fan Tingnian doesn't often live here, only staying for two days occasionally, and there is no one else in the building, the rooms are empty all year round.

Because they moved in these days, the servants cleaned the place again and it was requisitioned.

There are four rooms in total, and Chu Song is in the same office with Shu Ang and Zhang Wei.

She had sent a message to Wen Yao before she came, saying that it was a rare trip abroad and she asked Wen Yao if she needed help buying anything. Wen Yao waved her hand and said no, because consumption was downgrading now and she was short of money, and she had been carrying fake goods for the past two years.

Chu Song was amused by her and laughed out loud. She had planned to buy some things for her, but now she was trapped in this manor every day, which was quite far from the city, so she had to give up the idea for the time being.

When I was in the studio until the afternoon of the next day, an uninvited guest came.

When Zhang Wei brought him into the room, Chu Song thought for a moment that she saw Fan Tingnian again. Forgive her for being a little face-blind to foreigners, so she didn't react as quickly as when facing Chinese people.

But if you look closely, the two don't actually look very similar. The boy is wearing a sports hoodie and has the same tall and broad figure as Fan Tingnian. His eyebrows and eyes are not as cold as Fan Tingnian's, but more cheerful, and his hair is more fluffy.

Compared with Fan Tingnian, he is obviously more "approachable".

They actually met in the corridor yesterday. He was talking to Shu Ang at that time. When she passed by, he tilted his head and his eyes seemed to fall on her intentionally for two seconds.

Then he turned around and continued talking to Shu Ang, as if he had not looked at her just now.

When Chu Song met his gaze at this moment, he felt inexplicably creepy. He was clearly smiling, but he seemed even more evil and weird than Fan Tingnian.

Zhang Wei brought him over and casually pulled out a chair for him to sit down. She then looked at Chu Song and said, "Xiao Ling is on vacation recently. He's studying at UTE, also majoring in art. He was bored on vacation, so I thought of bringing him over to see me."

"Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, he's on vacation because he hasn't had any competitions recently. He's a swimmer." Zhang Wei kindly introduced the two to each other, put the cup under the coffee machine, and made herself a cup of fragrant coffee.

Because someone else had arrived, Chu Song sat up straight from his previous position lying on the table, leaned back in his chair, and blinked.

It's not surprising that he studied art. Fan Tingnian's family has a strong artistic atmosphere. It's normal for the youngest son in the family to study this. However, Chu Song didn't expect that he was actually a swimmer.

She was just wondering when she realized that the boy she was unconsciously looking at was also looking at her.

His eyes were smiling, and his gaze was fixed on her, with some scrutiny and speculation.

Chu Song felt a little uncomfortable being stared at, so he looked away and looked at Zhang Wei.

Zhang Wei turned around just in time, met her gaze, and gestured to the cup in her right hand: "Would you like a cup of coffee too?"

Chu Song nodded, quickly stood up from his seat, and walked towards Zhang Wei: "I can do it myself."

"What's the matter?" Zhang Wei smiled, turned around and took another clean coffee cup from the shelf, "I'll help you with it."

After taking two sips from the cup, Zhang Wei turned around and added milk, "I'm going to be away for a while. The team is having a video conference with London, so you might be alone here with Xiao Ling."

"He has a good personality," Zhang Wei said, lowering her voice and smiling. "He's much easier to get along with than...Mr. Fan."

That's true. Fan Tingnian hardly speaks a few words all year round. Anyone should be easier to get along with than Fan Tingnian.

But he is here...Fan Tingnian just told her that he would come to see her later.
