Chapter 52 09.19/This is the second update. No one taught him. ...
Fan Tingnian held her and sat down on the sofa.
Chu Song was very uncomfortable, and this happened at her workplace. She held her breath and moved her legs, trying to get off him, but the man grabbed her waist and hugged her back.
He held her chin, moved closer from behind, and rubbed his face against her temple again. His voice was always gentle, but his words were not.
He lowered his voice and leaned close to her ear: "You probably don't want me to come to you again, or I'll be very angry."
Chu Song was motionless for about half a minute. She suppressed her heartbeat and said in a choked voice, "I didn't ask you to look for it... and this is where I work."
The person behind her seemed not to hear her words. He lowered his head slightly and sniffed the scent of her hair and neck.
Fan Tingnian has a high nose bone, and the tip of his nose rubbed against the side of her neck and slid down, making people think of the time when his nose tip touched other places.
His other hand was still on her neck, his fingertips rubbing slowly, accompanying her with sniffing movements, as if he wanted to cut her open and sew her back together, studying every inch of her skin.
He finally placed the tip of his nose on a small mole on the crook of her neck, rubbing it gently. Without any fluctuation in his tone, he answered her question: "So what?"
Chu Song turned around, intending to discuss other issues with him first. She looked into his eyes, and despite trying to remain calm, her voice trembled: "The house across from me, and... did you buy the upstairs?"
Fan Tingnian finally let her go and leaned back.
He looked at her and said calmly, "No."
I learned it from her.
Humans are not always sincere when it comes to feelings and often lie.
"Isn't it you?" Chu Song was very surprised. She had just seen him, and considering what happened around her home, it was easy for her to think that it was him.
The man rested his right elbow on the sofa, supporting his head, his eyes lowered and his expression remained unchanged: "No."
Chu Song breathed a sigh of relief.
However, thinking that what he had just said might be a reminder that he could do so, he struggled to forbid it: "You...can't buy a house where I live."
As she finished speaking, she felt that the man's eyes were a little strange, and then he kept the same expression as before: "Why would I do this? I don't even know where you live."
Chu Song's heart slowly calmed down again. That's right, she had not revealed her address to Fan Tingnian. She just filled it out on her online resume when she started working. If Fan Tingnian didn't pursue it, he wouldn't have seen it.
Time passed minute by minute, Chu Song didn't say anything, but she could feel Fan Tingnian staring at her.
Even after a few seconds, he raised his hand and stroked her face inch by inch from her temples to her forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck with the back of his fingers.
His movements were very slow, and Chu Song felt creepy when he touched her.
But she didn't dare to move or speak. She was afraid that she would do something to anger Fan Tingnian and make him do something even more difficult to deal with.
After a long time, he withdrew his hand, his eyes still scrutinizing her face.
"Let's have lunch together?"
"Hmm?" Chu Song didn't expect him to suddenly change the subject. She turned her head to look over, and when her gaze met the man's, she felt a burn, and turned back. "At noon... I have to deal with some documents."
"You're not eating while you're working on documents?"
“No, but I will…”
"Come eat with me, at a restaurant near your company."
Chu Song had no reason to refuse. It was impossible for a person to not eat... and Fan Tingnian...
She was in a daze when the man pulled her chin and turned her around. He pressed the back of her head to pull her closer, his eyes scanning her face inch by inch, then slowly pressed her towards him and lowered his head to kiss her neck.
Chu Song felt his hot breath on her neck, and she subconsciously raised her hand to push his shoulder. The next second, his tongue tip gently brushed across the small mole on her neck.
There is no surveillance in the lounge, it is a completely private space. This is probably why Fan Tingnian chose to meet here.
The collar of his shirt rubbed against her collarbone. He didn't do anything excessive, but just licked the small mole on her neck lightly and slowly.
"Very sweet, why are you sweet?"
Chu Song shook her head, and he held her waist and lifted her up a little, touching her ear bone again.
"Stop touching me...I'm still at work."
"Can I touch it after get off work?" the man asked.
Chu Song shook her head again. She had no idea what Fan Tingnian was going to do.
After a moment, the man pulled back and helped her tidy up her clothes. His eyes were imprinted with her shadow: "Tell your boss, we're going to eat."
Chu Song grabbed the cloth on his shoulders and said after two seconds: "If I don't want to..."
Fan Tingnian leaned back: "Then I can't guarantee what will happen."
Forty minutes later, the two came out of the lounge, and Chu Song told the director that he wanted to have lunch with Fan Tingnian.
The curator thought that Chu Song and Fan Tingnian were having a very smooth conversation and was very happy, so he agreed immediately. When he heard that Fan Tingnian had decided to invest in the next two projects, his wrinkles were all wrinkled into patterns.
He had no idea what Chu Song had discussed with this prominent investor, as the other party had actually agreed to invest such a large amount of money in just half an hour.
In fact, Chu Song didn't talk to him about anything, but there was a subtle tooth mark on his neck.
"Go ahead." The curator's brows were beaming with joy, and he wished he could give Chu Song half a day off.
When Chu Song went to get her bag from her seat, Zhang Xinran peeked out from the next room. She clung to the partition of the cubicle and glanced sideways, indicating, "Is that the person who gave us money?"
"So handsome... He looks like a mixed-race. How can someone in this world be both good-looking and rich? I really don't want to live anymore. I want to be reborn."
The two colleagues next to them also stopped what they were doing, read it, turned around, and whispered to Chu Song and Zhang Xinran.
A few minutes later, Chu Song finally came out of the office area.
The art museum is located in the central area of the north city. Two intersections away is the central business district, and further back is the scenic inner lake.
The place to eat is in a restaurant facing the lake, on the top floor of the 38th floor. Sitting next to the window, you can overlook the entire lake.
The restaurant was chosen according to Chu Song's taste, and so were the dishes served. So even though Chu Song had a poor appetite due to recent work pressure, he still ate a lot without realizing it.
But Fan Tingnian didn’t eat much, and his eyes were always on the opposite side.
He doesn't know how to fall in love, nor does he know how to fall in love, and the person sitting opposite him doesn't seem to want to fall in love with him.
But he wanted to.
"I'll pick you up in the afternoon and stay with me at night." He put down his knife and fork.
Chu Song was already trembling with fear, and when he heard this out of the blue, he put down his fork and felt a little confused.
Then she was very conflicted: "Where I live now is very close to the company...it's also convenient."
"My house is right by this lake, close to your company, and it's a duplex on the top floor."
Chu Song was still unwilling, and negotiated with a difficult voice: "If I don't want to..."
"Then I'll go crazy." The man said bluntly with a dull expression.
Chu Song was startled by his blunt words, and then his expression became even more conflicted.
Fan Tingnian's eyes scanned her face carefully. He could feel that she was afraid, but now it seemed that only by making her afraid would she stay with him, so he had no good way but to scare her.
He hasn't learned the rest yet.
After a few seconds, she relented: "Okay."
"Yeah." Fan Tingnian responded.
Chu Song had nothing to do this afternoon because he had "exceeded" his target of attracting investment. The curator was very respectful of Fan Tingnian's attitude and even called Chu Song to his office after lunch to ask him about the details of how he persuaded the other party to invest.
Chu Song had no idea how she was convinced. She was now afraid of seeing Fan Tingnian, especially at lunch. Fan Tingnian said he would come to pick her up in the evening, and she was afraid that he would lock her up again.
"Chu Song?" The director called her when he saw that she was distracted.
Chu Song gathered his thoughts and looked up: "I'm listening."
Finally, it was evening and Fan Tingnian called her in advance. She hung up the phone and replied to the message.
Chu Song: [I'm still in the office.]
Fan Tingnian: [Yes.]
Ten minutes later, Chu Song avoided the rush hour of her colleagues getting off work and went downstairs. She saw a black coupe parked on the side of the road from a distance. Knowing it was Fan Tingnian's car, she took a deep breath and was about to walk over when she was stopped by someone.
A colleague in the same group.
"Sister Chu Song." The boy had just graduated from college and came here for an internship a few months ago. He was also in charge of matters related to this exhibition.
Chu Song stopped and turned to look over.
The boy ran over with a shoulder bag on his back, took out a packaged local specialty from his bag and handed it to me. A smile spread across his face: "This is my family's specialty. You weren't here when we distributed it at noon, and the boss kept running around in circles this afternoon, so it was hard to give it to you."
The boy's smile infected Chu Song, and she also took it with a smile and thanked him.
The boy was in a hurry to catch the bus. He looked down at the time and was about to run away again with the food on his shoulder. "It's okay. If you like it after you finish eating, tell me. I'll bring it back to you when I get home."
Half a minute later, the boy finally left. Chu Song let out a sigh, looked back at the direction where Fan Tingnian parked his car, carefully opened the car door, and got in.
Fan Tingnian was driving the car. He was in the driver's seat, so she could only sit in the passenger seat. When she closed the car door, she felt overwhelming pressure.
The person in the driver's seat was wearing a black windbreaker and had been staring at her since she sat down. His gaze was very oppressive.
Her scalp tightened, and she turned around by pulling at her seat belt: "What...what happened?"
The man stared at her for a moment, then looked away, put his slender fingers on the gear and started the car.
Fan Tingnian's house was indeed not far from here. Ten minutes later, the car drove into the underground parking lot.
Chu Song felt that the atmosphere in the car had never relaxed since she got in. She really couldn't stand it. When Fan Tingnian stopped the car, she called Fan Tingnian and wanted to ask something.
But the next second, someone hugged him sideways.
She sat between his legs, her back against the steering wheel.
As the masculine scent approached, Chu Song subconsciously closed her eyes and tilted her head, resting her forehead on his shoulder.
Her body trembled slightly. Fan Tingnian's eyes slid from her ears to her neck. In a moment, he raised his hand and scratched the side of her face and asked, "Are you afraid of me?"
He always touches people as if he is dissecting them.
Chu Song was almost shaking like a sieve: "...It's not so bad."
Fan Tingnian's fingers stopped. He was confused. Why was she so afraid of him? He had never hurt her. He just wanted to be with her.
No one taught him.
