Everyone was astonished by these words.
They stared at Yang Fei in disbelief. What happened? Yang Fei actually gave in?
Lin Mo has only been in Shu for two days, and he's already officially taken over Shu?
Would Lin Mo let bygones be bygones for their serious offense of colluding with the chieftain?

"Yes, yes, we are utterly incompetent!"
"Your Highness, you are the son of the Great Xia's military genius. Surely you can quell the chieftains and wipe out the bandits in Shu without us!"
"That's right, Your Highness is mighty!"
Damn it! You bunch of idiots are really something, trying to flatter me to death!
Lin Mo smiled coldly, and was about to speak when the finishing blow came.
"Your Highness, are you afraid of the chieftains of Shu?" a general asked. "These villains eat meat and drink blood. Even my bravest soldiers are afraid of them!"
"Wow, that's a brilliant move," Lin Mo thought to himself, "a provocation!"
Alright, I'll turn the tables on you.
"I am the son of the Great Xia's God of War, how could I be afraid of these petty chieftains!" Lin Mo said, feigning anger. "Next month, I will send troops to wipe out these scoundrels who are harming the people of Great Xia! You'll just have to watch in Xichuan City!"
Upon hearing this, Yang Fei revealed a cunning smile, "Your Highness is mighty!"
"Laughing? You think I've fallen for your trap? You'll be crying later!"
Lin Mo didn't force them to go into battle together for a simple reason.
Subordinates who do not sincerely obey him will only hinder his efforts and may even collude with the enemy from within.
"Clean this place up, don't let these two bastards spoil everyone's drinking mood!"
At a command, soldiers came in to move the bodies and clean the hall.
The bloodstains were quickly cleaned up.
Lin Mo raised his glass, "Come on, drink heartily and eat heartily!"

After Yang Fei and the others left, Lin Mo walked out of the palace to see them off. A gust of cold wind blew by, and he immediately shivered.

Qiao Shan bowed and left.
At this moment, Lin Mo suddenly turned around and glared at Xu Chu, "You good-for-nothing! Are you crazy? You start killing people at the drop of a hat? Killing one wasn't enough, you killed two?"
Xu Chu's eyes widened, and he asked in confusion, "My lord, this is how I always acted when I served Prime Minister Cao! "I'm not Cao Cao!" Lin Mo shouted. "When you were with Cao Cao, that was his carefully cultivated base. But this is Shu, Yang Fei's territory, and I've only been here for two days."
"A backup plan? What a load of rubbish! It's just a makeshift tactic forced upon us by your actions!"
Lin Mo curled his lip and continued to curse, "I just wanted to teach them a lesson at first, but who knew you would ruin it for me!"
Xu Chu said indignantly, "You told me to act according to your instructions before, but you didn't explain exactly how to act!"
Ah, so it was all my fault! Lin Mo smiled bitterly.

Yang Fei was discussing matters with his subordinates.
At this moment, a servant came to report: "Lord Yang, they've arrived!"
The people the servants were referring to were bandits from the Shu region.
"Should we leave?"
“We’re all on the same side, there’s no need for this!” Yang Fei said. “Let them in!”
Soon, several bandits entered the hall.
"Greetings, General Yang!" the leading bandit said, bowing.
"Speak, what brings you here this time?"
"I came especially to deliver a small gift to General Yang! And also to inquire about some news." With that, he waved his hand, signaling his men to open the bamboo basket, inside which gleamed silver.
Yang Fei nodded, and his men skillfully carried the silver away.
“What do you want to know?” he asked.
"My lord, we received news that the imperial court has sent the Prince of Shu to suppress the bandits. Is this true or false?"
“It arrived yesterday!” Yang Fei told him.
Upon hearing this, the bandits exchanged glances, their faces showing panic.
