Bai Qi took the lead, charging his elite cavalry towards Emperor Qiu Zi's main camp.
On the enemy side, upon seeing Bai Qi's fearlessness, they were immediately filled with awe.
Upon seeing this, Emperor Ammon of Quz cast a look of even greater admiration upon him.
Amidst the chaos of the battlefield, Amon's gaze remained fixed on the enemy general before him.
"If I, Qiu Zi, have such a fierce general, what great things cannot be accomplished?" Amon said. "Come on, send out all your personal guards and capture Bai Qi alive!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Clatter clatter clatter!" Qiu Zi's strongest warriors all spurred their horses and galloped straight at Bai Qi.
The sound of horses' hooves was incessant. Bai Qi sat astride his warhorse, his eyes fixed on the front, his hand tightly gripping the Heaven-Piercing Halberd.
He remained calm and unperturbed when dozens of generals dressed in magnificent Qiuzi armor and wielding Qiuzi scimitars suddenly appeared.
"Perfect timing!"
The next instant, he raised his right arm and swung his halberd!
With a "bang".
With this single halberd strike, a member of the Qiuz royal guard cavalry charging towards them was knocked off his horse!
The barbarian soldier let out a scream. There was a very obvious bloody hole near his shoulder, a wound caused by the Heaven-Piercing Halberd piercing him and then lifting him up.
With that final strike, the white bones were still visible amidst the torn flesh.
But his screams were quickly cut short as Bai Qi moved with incredible speed, stabbing his throat with his halberd once more!
"What?!" The other royal guards of Qiuzi froze. "Bai Qi's martial arts are that strong?"
Your Majesty, you actually want us to capture you alive?
While he was still in a daze, Bai Qi spurred his horse forward and with another halberd strike, he knocked down the second guard.
"You are no match for him! Step back and let me handle this!"
Just then, a loud shout came from behind the Qiuz cavalry.
Bai Qi took a closer look and saw that it was a man in his thirties from the Arab world, holding a long spear.
The veins on this man's face were bulging, making him look somewhat ferocious.
"State your name!" Bai Qi said.
“Ivan!” the man replied, “The Arabs!”
Bai Qi had heard of this name; he was a renowned military general in the Abbasid Caliphate.
Bai Qi watched coldly, then kicked the spur, striking the warhorse. The horse neighed and galloped forward.
In just a few steps, the two had closed the distance between them, but the Qiuz cavalry, in a very unsportsmanlike manner, surrounded them, ready to launch a sneak attack at any moment.
Bai Qi remained calm and went straight for Ivan.
With a loud "bang," a sound of metal clashing against metal rang out.
In the blink of an eye, the two attacked simultaneously!
However, compared to the mythical warrior Bai Qi, the halberd was obviously faster. The halberd cleaved through the sky and pierced towards Ivan's throat!
"So fast!" Ivan couldn't help but exclaim.
Although surprised by the faster attack of the person before him, he was already fully prepared. The instant the Heaven-Piercing Halberd thrust forward, he simultaneously struck forward with his spear. The spear, unique to the Arabs, was incredibly light and agile, yet exceptionally sharp.
After striking Bai Qi's Heaven-Shattering Halberd, Ivan twisted his hand to deflect the halberd, followed by a swift and decisive thrust.
Bai Qi raised an eyebrow and used his strength to block the attack.
"You've got some skill!" Bai Qi snorted coldly, no longer swinging the Heaven-Piercing Halberd to attack. Instead, he kicked the horse's belly and, using the momentum of the horse's forward charge, thrust the Heaven-Piercing Halberd forward swiftly!
Ivan's expression changed; this was Bai Qi, completely unpredictable.
Helpless, he had no choice but to quickly dodge to the side.
But this very action played right into Bai Qi's hands.
"You've fallen for my trap!" Bai Qi swung his Heaven-Piercing Halberd in a circle in the air with incredible speed.
"Oh no!" Ivan's heart skipped a beat as he watched helplessly as the Sky-Piercing Halberd hurtled toward him.
The nauseating impact sent Ivan reeling, nearly throwing him off his horse.
"Die!" Bai Qi shouted again. The spike of the Heaven-Piercing Halberd pierced through the thin metal protection at his right elbow joint. A sharp pain exploded out, and the spear immediately fell off.
He reached out to draw his sword, but found that he couldn't find the scabbard no matter how long he tried.
"It's over, I'm going to die here!" Ivan thought in despair.
Fortunately, Emperor Chuz's personal guards saved him at the critical moment.
The cavalryman launched a sneak attack from behind, intending to cleave Bai Qi's head in two with a single blow.
However, he also paid the price for his foolishness.
The Heaven-Piercing Halberd struck him squarely in the chest, piercing through his armor and killing him instantly.
Bai Qi, without stopping, drew his Heaven-Piercing Halberd and slashed the throat of the Qiu Zi cavalryman on his left, who then slumped limply and bounced with his horse.
Finally, the corpse slid to the ground. Bai Qi raised his Heaven-Piercing Halberd and let out a terrifying shout, "Are you coming one by one, or all at once? What does Bai Qi have to fear?"
