Greedy Wolf Mountain Stronghold was built on the cliffs at the top of the mountain.
The fortress was built from the rocks on the mountain and looked incredibly sturdy.
To reach the fortress, the Xia soldiers had to capture the gate guarding the mountain road leading to the fortress, defeat the bandit guards at the foot of the mountain, and then ascend the mountain through a very narrow path.
Under normal circumstances, it would take half a day to get up the mountain, and everyone on the way would be exposed to attacks from the defenders of the fortified village and the three fortified villages.
The first fortress was accessible via a path surrounded by woods. It had a heavy wooden gate. The top of the walls was covered with iron spikes, and two round, plump towers surrounded the main fortress.
The second fortress was accessible via the steps leading up from the first one. There was a reinforced archery tower, a wooden fortress, and stables behind a low stone wall.
The third one, the road leading to the stockade, is the most treacherous. The road is exposed to strong winds, and the steps are made even more slippery by years of drizzle.
The fortress itself is a towering fortress built on the mountainside using rough stones.
Inside the city walls, there is a series of ramps and a huge pile of boulders ready to be thrown down. If an enemy passes by, the boulders will crash down, and the experience will be absolutely exhilarating!
"Was this really built by bandits?" Xu Chu asked in a deep voice.
“No, I once followed Marshal Lin on a campaign to Sichuan. This place used to be the stronghold of the local chieftain,” Zhao Zhen replied. “After the chieftain was defeated by our Great Xia, it remained a stronghold of Great Xia. I just never expected this!”
That old scoundrel Yang Fei actually lost this place! Now it's become a bandit stronghold!
Lin Mo frowned and fell into deep thought.
Soon after, he had an idea: "Zhao Zhen, your idea of using fire is feasible!"
"Huh? My lord, did I hear that right?" Xu Chu asked, puzzled. "How can we possibly put something flammable into such a fortified village?"
"I have a brilliant plan!" Lin Mo said. "Zhao Zhen, go to the army and find five hundred archers, the best archers! Have them assemble outside the bandit camp gate at noon tonight."
"Xu Chu, tonight you will lead five thousand elite troops to ambush around the bandit camp. Once the fire starts, charge into the camp and slaughter them without leaving a single survivor."
When the order was given, both Xu Chu and Zhao Zhen were stunned.
The most crucial point is completely missing. How were the flammable materials thrown into the bandit camp?
If the catapults can't be transported up the mountain, could it be that some deity is helping them? Or are they using magic to move the flammable materials inside?
Lin Mo's lips twitched slightly. "I really do have divine assistance!"
The system can spawn soldiers or supplies within a specified area!
At night, once you reach the vicinity of the bandit camp, use the system to generate a wave of fragrant "hay," "fireballs," and even gunpowder.

A tall, thin bandit leaned against the railing, yawning listlessly and muttering complaints.
"Can you just shut up for a bit? I'm sleepy, even more sleepy than you," another bandit complained. "Besides, you've already had dinner, but I haven't!"
"Haha, eat less, you won't gain weight no matter how much you eat," the tall, thin bandit laughed.
"Damn it, if we don't go around begging for money soon, we'll be starving!"
"Alright, even if the boss wants to freeload, he won't take you with him. Look at your skinny frame, you need to work out more. You should be like me, all muscle!"
As he spoke, the bandit stood up and began to show off the muscles on his arms.
The skinny bandit looked on with envy. "Brother, how did you train like that? Teach me!"
The bandit laughed smugly, "This kind of thing requires talent. If you want to learn, you'll have to pay me a visit first..."
Before he could finish speaking, he heard a "whoosh" sound.
An arrow pierced his throat. He tried to speak, but could only manage a few muffled groans.
It was an arrow with tremendous force, shot from the distant woods, piercing through the entire throat.
Instantly, a spurt of blood gushed out, splattering all over the skinny man's face.
"Help! There's someone..."
The skinny bandit was terrified. He tried to shout, but before he could open his mouth, another arrow pierced his eye socket and knocked out his eyeball.
The arrow pierced the skinny bandit's skull through the back of his head.
The skinny bandit grunted, then swayed and fell from the watchtower.
In the dense forest, Zhao Zhen led several Xia archers as they jumped down from the trees.
"Look carefully, see if there are any escapees. The prince is waiting!"
The group lowered their heads, whispered a few words, and then disappeared.
At this moment, in the Greedy Wolf Mountain stronghold, several leaders from different strongholds were raising their cups and drinking heartily, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
"Hahaha, I heard that kid personally led his troops here, shamelessly saying that he would wipe us all out in one fell swoop," Lu Dayou, the leader of Black Tiger Stronghold, laughed loudly.
"Him? He doesn't even bother to take a piss and show himself. He's barely grown any hair, yet he dares to spout such nonsense!"
"Hmph, if that kid can take over our Greedy Wolf Stronghold, I'll cut off my head and give it to him to sit on!"
"That's right. Speaking of which, we all have to thank Chief Wu again. If it weren't for him, we might have really been wiped out by that kid," Lu Dayou said. "That kid has a fierce general named Xu Chu under his command, and he's really fierce!"
