"Be careful, be very careful! These lurking monsters could open their bloody maws at any moment and tear your throats apart." The man's face was covered with hideous scars, and now his eyes were wide open, his voice full of warning and seriousness.
"Yes, sir." The others responded in unison, their voices revealing a hint of nervousness, but their movements became even more cautious.
"Don't think I'm exaggerating!" The scarred man raised his voice, his tone carrying an undeniable authority. "These monsters, although they appear to be dead, the evil power they contain has not dissipated."
The slightest negligence will allow them to revive and wreak havoc on humanity once more.
Lin Mo stared wide-eyed at the demons the warriors were moving.
One of the monsters was enormous, covered in long black fur, resembling a giant bear from hell. Its eyes were closed, but Lin Mo could sense a powerful, malevolent aura emanating from it.
The other monster was even more bizarre; it had the head of a bird, a tail like a venomous snake, and a body as large as a giant tortoise. Although it was dead, its eyes still gleamed with an eerie red light.
There was another bird that looked very much like a common eagle, majestic and fierce, but it had a pair of sharp horns growing on its head, like two sharp blades in the night, gleaming with a cold light.
One of the peculiar creatures caught Lin Mo's attention. It resembled a giant ball of flesh, its surface covered with wriggling tentacles, each one like a living thread, shimmering with an eerie luster in the dim light.
These tentacles trembled slightly from time to time, as if searching for something or sensing everything around them. The surface of the fleshy ball was uneven, as if hiding countless tiny holes, emanating an indescribable stench that made one want to cover their nose and run away.
Although the creature was dead, the malevolent aura it exuded sent chills down one's spine.
The group approached the strange beasts cautiously, afraid of disturbing them. They carefully placed the creatures one by one into wooden boxes, and then firmly nailed the boxes shut with sturdy steel nails.
Throughout the entire process, everyone held their breath, concentrating intently on each movement. They made no unnecessary movements, and no one touched the beasts with any part of their body.
"What...what on earth is this bizarre thing?!" Lin Mo exclaimed inwardly, his eyes filled with confusion and astonishment. "And where are these people taking these strange creatures?"
Just as he was filled with doubt, another low voice of conversation reached his ears.
"Be careful, all of you," the scarred man whispered to his companions. "These guys are more valuable than your lives. Without them, where would our divine power come from? Without divine power, our enemies would crush us like ants."
"Holy crap!" Lin Mo's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this, his shock beyond words. "These people's power actually originates from these demonic creatures?"
This discovery sent Lin Mo's thoughts swirling like leaves caught in a whirlwind.
Suddenly, a series of messages flashed through his mind.
"First, devour..."
"Secondly, possession by a spirit!"
"This should be a world ruled by the Faceless God!"
"The followers of the Faceless God call those gods and Buddhas evil gods!"
"Finally, are the gods and Buddhas of today perhaps terrorist organizations that haven't joined the Alliance of Gods?"
"So, let's connect all the information together..."
"Holy crap!" Lin Mo's heart was filled with shock and disbelief.
Upon hearing all this, Zhao Yue'er was startled. She gripped Lin Mo's hand even tighter.
Lin Mo could tell that the girl's palms were sweaty.
Zhao Yue'er took another step forward, wanting to go down and ask these gods for clarification.
How could her master be an evil god who uses demons to obtain divine power?
Seeing this, Lin Mo quickly pulled Zhao Yue'er back.
With Lin Mo's current strength, there's no way he could defeat his opponent!
"No, it's not like that!" Zhao Yue'er shook her head repeatedly after being pulled back. "Master, it couldn't possibly be such an evil god!" she thought to herself.
They must be the Faceless God, or some other god!
It can't be the owner, it can't be!
but...
The world is now ruled by the Master, and the other gods are asleep.
If one were to descend without permission, it would be a violation of the covenant of the gods, and one would be sealed away for ten thousand years!
The Faceless Gods are the true evil gods; they descend in secret.
Yes, that's it! These powerful figures before us must all be Faceless Gods!
Just then, a porter accidentally touched the terrifying monster with his fingertip.
In an instant, he seemed to have encountered endless misfortune.
In an instant, the man groaned in pain and collapsed to the ground. His fingertips began to turn black, and then pus and blood gushed out, staining his palms red.
The man with the scar on his face reacted extremely quickly. With sharp eyes, he decisively raised his longsword and slashed fiercely at the porter's arm. With a scream, the porter's entire arm was severed, and blood splattered everywhere.
"Ah! My hand!" the man screamed in agony, but it seemed all was too late to save his life.
Black blood began to seep from the corner of his mouth, and his face quickly turned ashen, as if swallowed by darkness.
Not long after, a strange, tentacle-like object burst out of his chest, twisting and writhing as if it were about to tear his entire body apart.
