Just then, the giant wolf Zhao Zhilan suddenly pricked up her ears and growled into the darkness.
"Someone's here!" Lin Mo quickly realized.
“Yes, those worthless servants!” said the giant rat.
Before long, a group of people slowly emerged from the deep darkness, their figures gradually becoming clear in the bright moonlight. There were about a hundred of them, each one an outstanding servant of the gods.
They stood there quietly, facing Lin Mo and the others from a distance, and the atmosphere instantly became tense.
Puhang walked at the front, wearing a black cloak meticulously stitched with red silk thread. Beneath the cloak were ring armor and riding breeches made of fine iron, making him appear both mysterious and imposing. On his head was a massive steel helmet, decorated with jet-black raven wings on both sides.
Usk followed closely behind, a smug smile on his face. Phuhang's confidants were scattered around, along with a divine servant skilled in animal taming and his Moonshadow Tiger.
Pu Hang's face was as gloomy as a sky overcast with dark clouds, his icy gaze fixed firmly on Lin Mo. He spoke slowly, his voice filled with authority and unquestionable force: "Lin Mo! Where are you going?"
Zhao Yue'er said, "Boss Pu, you're wrong, you're wrong. Our master is actually..."
Before he could finish speaking, Boss Pu interrupted him, "I'm asking him. Did he lose his tongue? Maybe he really should, so he won't lie to us anymore!"
Without hesitation, Uskna drew his long dagger, its blade gleaming coldly, pointing it directly at Lin Mo's eyes. He sneered, "Kid, judging by your appearance, you don't need two eyes anymore. Keeping one might make you more sensible."
"Hmph!" Lin Mo snorted coldly. "I say you should be the ones who have your eyes gouged out. You're already blind, what's the point of keeping your eyes?"
"You're saying we're blind?" Pu Hang's eyes were like a frozen lake, cold and sharp. "I'm quite looking forward to hearing what convincing things you can say."
Usk waved his hand impatiently, interrupting their conversation. His voice was full of disdain. "Boss Putin, why bother talking to him! This kid is hanging around with such disgusting monsters. He's obviously a lackey of the evil god!"
Lin Mo felt a burning sensation on his face, as if he were being scorched by flames. He thought to himself, "Yeah, I was chatting and laughing with this monster. Come to think of it, I really am more like an evil god!"
"Fuck you!" Upon hearing Usk's words, the giant rat became agitated. "I'm a proud young man of the 21st century, and you're mocking me with this kind of tone and look?"
You bastards, you're just those worthless servants, aren't you?
"If I don't devour you alive and feed you to my little brats today, won't I be letting down the Party and the people?"
As it spoke, the giant rat let out a chilling howl, and its entire body began to shake.
The next moment.
But then thousands of plague-ridden giant rats surged out from the giant rats and rushed madly toward the servants of the gods.
Upon seeing this, the servants of the gods were initially alarmed; clearly, they had never witnessed such a gruesome scene before.
However, their confidence in their strength allowed them to quickly calm down.
"Kill! Wipe out these evil monsters in one fell swoop!" Pu Hang gave the order, and the servants behind him responded one after another, gripping their longswords and rushing towards the terrifying swarm of plague rats without hesitation.
When the first servant of the gods stepped about two meters away from the swarm of rats, an unexpected change occurred. The seemingly scattered and disorganized plague rat swarm suddenly rioted, and more than a dozen rat demons leaped up like black lightning, fiercely pouncing on the unsuspecting servant of the gods.
Their movements were swift and ruthless, instantly knocking the divine servant to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.
Immediately afterward, the plague rats began their brutal tearing. Their target was the vulnerable neck exposed between the servant's helmet and marble plate armor; their sharp teeth gnawed viciously, and blood instantly stained that area red.
At the same time, several more enormous plague rats emerged from all directions, their sharp front claws tearing at the armor on the servant of the god, attempting to rip the protection to shreds.
Surrounded by the swarm of rats, the servant of the god let out a series of shrill screams, his struggles appearing so futile under the ferocious attacks of the plague rats.
Enraged at the sight of their companion in danger, the other servants roared and charged forward, hacking at the giant rats on their companion's body with their Deep One Blades, causing blood and flesh to fly everywhere.
"Kill, kill, kill them all!" Pu Hang kept swinging his longsword, smashing the plague rats in front of him. However, the number of rats was too large, and soon hundreds more agile plague rats with sharp fangs joined the bloody battle.
The servants' steel armor, originally incredibly strong, became as fragile as paper under the frenzied tearing of the plague rats' sharp claws. Soon, the armor was ripped open, revealing the servants' flesh and blood.
The plague rats, drawn by the scent of blood, grew even more frenzied. They tore at the servant's body with their sharp teeth, making horrifying gnawing sounds.
A servant of the gods screamed across the sky as he writhed on the ground in agony, like a zebra being attacked by a pack of hungry lions, helpless and desperate.
However, no matter how hard he struggled, he could not escape these frenzied plague rats. Like a pack of greedy beasts, they relentlessly tore at his body, sucking his blood. Soon, the servant's flesh was completely devoured, leaving only a pile of bones lying forlornly in a pool of blood.
The rats, however, seemed completely unfazed. Their bloodshot eyes blazing, they continued their swarm, searching for their next prey. This bloody massacre appeared to be merely the beginning of their revelry…
