Outside the city, people were cultivating the land, women were cutting weeds, a team of oxen were plowing the land by the woods, and a dozen bearded men stood guard with axes nearby.
Yao Guangxiao had already given the order, so the guard captain appeared quickly and led Lin Mo and the others into the city.
Upon entering the city, Lin Mo discovered that it was all ruins and broken walls.
The city's narrow alleyways are intricate and complex. Their facades are devoid of windows and features, and as far as the eye can see, there are small houses covered in moss and creeping violets.

As the suitor, Lin Mo also consciously stood up and bowed to him.
"Welcome, Your Majesty, King of Shu of the Great Xia!" the Su chieftain said with a smile.
"You're too kind, respected chieftain!" Lin Mo straightened up and took a good look at the Su chieftain.
He was shocked when he saw what was happening. "Holy crap, aren't you that old man?" he thought. "The old man who was hiding in the outpost hut spying on me?"
