After reconnaissance of the enemy situation, Yue Fei mounted his horse and quickly returned to the camp to begin arranging his troops.

A soft rustling sound filled the woods, its notes lingering in my ears.
The stream flows swiftly through the valley floor, meandering across the stone riverbed, with moonlight shimmering on its surface.
Beneath the tree, the warhorse neighed softly, stretching its hooves to pry open the soft, damp ground covered with fallen leaves.
The Beiwei Army lowered their voices and lay in ambush on both sides of the road.
As Yue Fei rode his warhorse, he occasionally heard the faint sounds of spears clashing and chainmail sliding, but even these sounds seemed indistinct and unclear.
He moved through the ranks, patting one man on the shoulder, chatting and laughing with another, and helping another soothe the restless horses. His armor rustled softly with each movement.
Soon after, the surrounding woods quieted down, and all was silent.
Yue Fei could hear the enemy's voices; though they were far away, they were rapidly approaching.
The roar of galloping horses, the clash of spears, swords, and armor, the muttering of warriors, and the sounds of laughter and curses rising and falling.
Millions of years seemed to have come and gone, and the sound grew louder and louder.
Yue Fei knew that the enemy was coming!
Soon, a fully armed Byzantine general appeared.
The man's golden hair and armor were stained silver-white by the moonlight, and his bright red cloak turned black.
He appeared and then vanished again, his silver armor once more concealed by the bushes. A long column followed behind him, all heavily armored cavalry, a formidable sight.
At this moment, Yue Fei waved his hand.
"Woo woo woo woo woo woo..." The bugle sounded.
Soon after, from both the east and west, the soldiers of the Great Xia Dynasty sounded the bugle call to attack. The deep, resonant sound, filled with mourning, joined this dark chorus.
Below, the enemy soldiers shouted loudly, and their horses kicked their front legs.
Following Yue Fei's orders, the archers, hidden among the branches, unleashed a rain of arrows, filling the night with the wails of men and horses.
"Great Xia is mighty!"
As the arrows rained down again, Yue Fei shouted and led his men in a downward swooping attack...
