Chapter 15 Head-on Confrontation, Xu Chu, you really are a tiger!

The soldiers of the Great Xia immediately formed a defensive square, holding shields in their left hands and raising long spears high in their right hands, their bodies hidden behind the shields, ready for battle.

Faced with a long line of spears, half of the horses stopped charging at the last moment and dodged them.

Some charged recklessly, only to have the gun tip pierce their chest and die on the spot.

Lin Mo saw dozens of bandits fall to the ground as a result. The bandit leader's mount had its neck grazed by a spiked spearhead. It reared up, stretched out its horseshoe-studded feet and kicked outwards, and the maddened warhorse leaped into the enemy ranks.

Spears thrust at it from all sides, but the shield wall crumbled under its weight, and the bandit staggered to avoid the animal's death throes.

The warhorse collapsed with a crash, vomiting blood and dying.

The bandit leader, however, rose unscathed, raised his single-edged sword, and launched a frenzied attack.

Xu Chu could no longer contain himself. He roared and charged forward with his double axes.

This top general from the Three Kingdoms period possessed extremely high martial arts skills. As soon as he joined the battle, he forced the bandits to retreat repeatedly.

Lin Mo saw a blind bandit attack from behind. Xu Chu turned around and slashed down with all his might. The bandit raised his hand to protect his face, but Xu Chu's single axe pierced between his shoulder and elbow.

"Die!!!" Xu Chu's howl drowned out the bandits' screams.

He drew his axe, and the bandit's upper head flew off, spurting blood.

Even though they were once regular soldiers, after becoming bandits, they no longer had quartermasters to supply them, so they generally did not have iron armor.

When Xu Chu charged into their midst, it was like a tiger among sheep; his attacks were swift, accurate, and ruthless, killing one enemy after another.

"You're really something, Xu Chu!" Lin Mo exclaimed, then immediately gripped his longsword tightly.

"Soldiers, kill them!" he roared and charged forward.

Lin Mo followed Lin Wenzhong in battles across the country and was also quite skilled in martial arts.

Sword after sword, hacking the bandits to pieces, leaving them bloodied and mangled.

However, the enemy's numbers far exceeded those of the Great Xia. A bandit wielding a spear thrust it toward his chest, but he parried it with a swift swing of his sword. The man jumped back, intending to try again, but instead turned and cleaved his head in two with a single sword stroke.

However, when Lin Mo withdrew his longsword, he found himself surrounded by seven or eight enemy soldiers.

"Die!" Lin Mo roared again, then cut off the first spearhead that was thrusting at him, and with a backhand slash, struck another person squarely in the face.

A spear flew from the left towards Lin Mo and struck the shield with a thud.

He turned to chase after the spear thrower, but was blocked by other enemies.

Just then, a bandit on horseback attacked. He turned around abruptly and engaged him in battle.

The other person was tall and lean, wearing a tattered Great Xia armor and iron gloves, but his helmet had fallen off, and blood was flowing from the wound on his forehead into his eyes.

"Are you a soldier of the Great Xia Dynasty?"

“That’s right, I once risked my life for the Great Xia!” the man replied. “Now, I only want to kill all the corrupt officials of the Great Xia!”

As he spoke, the man raised his longsword and began hacking and slashing at Lin Mo's head and shoulders.

As their swords clashed, Tyrion immediately realized that the taller man was not only faster than him, but also much stronger.

"That damned Xu Chu, where did he go?" Lin Mo couldn't help but shout.

As Mr. Cao's personal bodyguard, you should be protecting me closely, so why did you disappear as soon as the fight started!

"Die!" the man muttered as he launched a fierce attack.

Lin Mo barely managed to raise his shield in time, taking the blow. The shield seemed about to explode inward, and shards of wood fell from his hands.

"Die!" the man roared and pressed forward again, slashing down with his sword, making Lin Mo dizzy.

The man withdrew his longsword, scraping it against Lin Mo's helmet with a terrifying metallic scraping sound, and couldn't help but chuckle...

After several rounds, Lin Mo had already fallen into a disadvantageous position. If Xu Chu didn't come soon, he might really die here.

However, at that moment, the enemy suddenly shouted, "The fourth leader is dead! Everyone, run!"

Upon hearing this, the bandit in front of him was stunned for a moment, but after realizing what he had said, he took off running.

Seeing this, the bandits beside him quickly followed.

"What's going on?" Lin Mo froze.

Upon closer inspection, he immediately understood everything. "Ha, to catch the thief, first catch the king! You truly are my Fan Kuai!"

It turns out that Xu Chu's combat power was just too strong.

He single-handedly wielded two axes, carving a bloody path through the enemy ranks and charging to the front of the fourth leader of Shulong Mountain.

At the time, the fourth leader was giving a passionate speech. He never expected that such a reckless man could break through the defenses and reach the rear.

"Kill them! Slaughter them all! Eliminate King Shu, Lin Mo, and you'll be promoted to Seventh Rank..."

Before he could finish speaking, he saw an axe coming down towards his head out of the corner of his eye.

Completely out of instinct, the fourth leader immediately tilted his head to the side, and the axe grazed his scalp, cutting off a few strands of his hair. He immediately felt a chill on his scalp.

"Scum, die!" Xu Chu roared, then swung his double axes, hacking away at the surrounding bandits, sending them flying in blood and flesh.

Upon seeing this, the Great Xia soldiers behind Xu Chu immediately charged forward, crushing everything in their path and quickly approaching the Fourth Master.

The fourth leader, who had fallen into banditry, was once a general of the Great Xia Dynasty. He had fought for more than ten years and had never seen such a ferocious general.

Is this a human or a wild beast?

For a moment, the fourth leader panicked.

In that moment of carelessness, Xu Chu's axe came crashing down again.

This time, however, the fourth leader couldn't escape.

Blood splattered on the ground, and the head rolled over the tree roots to Xu Chu's feet.

Xu Chu raised his foot and stomped down hard, crushing the fourth leader's head to pieces.
