Chapter 1158 The Story of Two Girls

Fortunately, Luo Chen's parents stopped talking and started watching TV seriously.

The first person to appear on the screen was a girl. She was wearing a long black dress, but unfortunately, under the same camera, she was only shown from behind.

Under the light, she stretched out her hands and danced ballet gracefully.

Under the elegant music, she is like a black swan, making people want to focus all their attention on her.

When everyone was wondering who that person was, the man finally turned around.

She was not Lin Xuan'er as everyone guessed, but Su Yin.

Su Yin stretched her limbs at this moment, and then said with a smile: "Not bad, it's been a long time since I last danced!"

Kevin used a lot of strength to close his open mouth. "Oh my God, I had no idea you could dance so well!"

Su Yin smiled. Compared to when she first joined the Glee Club, she has calmed down a lot now.

Apparently, she herself had forgotten that she wanted to join the Glee Club in order to secretly incite the members to rebel.

"I studied ballet for a while when I was a kid," Su Yin said, noting that everyone seemed curious about her experience. "My parents initially made me learn ballet because they wanted me to be more elegant. You know, they wanted me to socialize."

Tang Yue immediately shook her head. As a girl who grew up in the slums, she really didn't understand. "Then you're so lucky. I don't even have the chance to learn these things."

She suddenly looked at Lin Xuan'er who was not far away. She seemed to have recovered as before, but Tang Yue could still feel that there was a slight change in Lin Xuan'er's attitude.

"If Xuan'er hadn't tutored me, I probably wouldn't have been able to get into our high school. I'd probably be languishing in a community middle school or a church middle school right now!"

After Tang Yue mentioned these past events, Lin Xuaner, who had always thought that she was outside the center of the topic, fell silent.

She looked up into the distance, wondering what she was thinking about.

"Not at all," Su Yin sighed. This was probably the difference in the definition of happiness between the poor and the rich. "They never asked me what I wanted. Whether I wanted to learn ballet or not, it didn't matter. I was like their puppet, and everything had to go according to their arrangements. I wanted to go to my mom's alma mater, become the captain of the cheerleading team like her, and finally get into Princeton University with the highest score in my grade, studying law like my father. Yes, I've already imagined the day when I would join my dad's law firm."

Although Su Yin had tried hard to say this in a distressed tone, in the eyes of many people, it was almost the same as showing off.

They dreamed of a life, but Su Yin didn't cherish it.

Is this the trouble of a rich girl?

"But it's different now," Su Yin suddenly became excited. "I joined the choir they hate the most. Oh my god, I can imagine how devastated they will be when they find out about this! But I'm very happy because I finally made a decision for myself!"

Luo Chen rolled his eyes, then put his hand on the black student in the club: "If I were you, I couldn't help but punch her."

Tang Yue tsked, but after getting to know Su Yin, she also knew that the cheerleader wasn't usually showing off. Or rather, she rarely showed off on her own initiative; that sense of superiority was innate.

And this is what is worrying these "weirdos" in the choir.

"Let's get back to the topic," Kevin interrupted everyone's chatter. "I think her performance just now can be included in our next stage of the competition. In New York, more and more choirs are beginning to pay attention to dance."

"It sounds like they've gone from a choir to a Chinese idol group," Wang Xingrui complained, but she accepted the change. As long as she could sing, it didn't matter.

Many domestic audiences couldn't help laughing out loud after hearing this line.

After today's club activities ended, Luo Chen and Wang Xingrui did not leave for a long time, but instead found Tang Yue.

"Are you two okay?" Tang Yue looked at them strangely. "Are you guys going to scold me for playing with my phone during club activities? I promise, I won't do that again!"

"I wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me!" Wang Xingrui joked, then immediately got down to business: "By the way, I have a question. You're Lin Xuan'er's good friend, right? Have you noticed anything's wrong with her lately?"

"Really?" Tang Yue pretended to be dumb. "I see she's rehearsing very seriously every day, just like she always does!"

"Am I worrying too much?" Wang Xingrui frowned and looked at Luo Chen again: "What are you doing here?"

Luo Chen only then said, "Didn't Tang Yue just say that she and Lin have known each other for a long time? In fact, I find it incredible that you two are good friends. After all, she is a top student and you are a poor student. You have different interests and personalities."

After hearing such doubts, Tang Yue burst into laughter and continued, "Yeah, I often say that myself. She and I are completely different types of people. Speaking of which, I met her a long time ago, so long ago that I almost forgot the exact time."

The color tone of the picture gradually transitioned from color to black, and what followed was obviously Tang Yue's memories.

"Hey, what are you doing!?"

Tang Yue grew up in a slum.

When she was young, she had dyed red hair and could even chase after African and South American immigrant boys on the street.

That day, she was sitting in front of a motel as usual.

Occasionally, some kind customers would see her and give her a cup of ice cream.

Tang Yue tried it every time and it worked.

But today she saw a blonde girl getting out of the white jeep.

She seemed to be of Chinese descent, just like herself.

This felt very new to Tang Yue, as most of the people around her were Mexicans.

The girl wore a pair of big glasses and dragged a suitcase that didn't fit her body. She followed her parents into the hotel slowly.

Tang Yue didn't expect that this girl had lived here for several months.

"She's really boring!" Tang Yue and her friends would occasionally mention the blonde girl. "She studies at home every day. I once saw her from the window when I was delivering something next door. She's about the same age as me, how could she stand sitting at a desk?"

"What a nerd!" The black kid stuck out his tongue. "It's that rich old man again! I have to go get some money!"

Tang Yue also followed. When she subconsciously turned around, young Lin Xuan'er took off her glasses and stood on the balcony in a white dress.

The wind blew, ruffling her golden hair.

Tang Yue waved at her for some unknown reason.

Later, Lin Xuaner always regretted that she shouldn't have gone downstairs that day.

Then they would just be passers-by in each other's lives.
