Chapter 1203 Golden Age

The New Year's Eve party ended with laughter and joy. Zhou Yiyang declined all invitations. He just wanted to go home and have a sleep.

The same was true for the four of them. Su Yin, who usually enjoyed late-night snacks, yawned several times while changing clothes backstage today: "Can't we leave yet? I'm so sleepy now!"

Wang Xingrui, who was standing by, glanced at Su Yin and asked in surprise, "Xiao Xiao Su, what did you just say? You actually want to sleep?"

Su Yin nodded heavily: "I'm not a robot, of course I need to sleep."

"But if you go to sleep, we won't have a midnight snack, right?" Tang Yue walked to her side and was removing her makeup.

"No." Su Yin made a quick decision. "We can have a midnight snack anytime, but I'm really tired today. Even more tired than after a three-hour concert."

"Actually, I'm just tired," Lin Xuan'er said seriously. "I can finally admit it now. I was actually very nervous before the performance tonight. We were the last ones to perform, and it was the most crucial moment. I was really afraid I'd mess it up."

"Actually, I'm the same," Wang Xingrui laughed. "I don't know why everyone likes to say I have a big heart, but I get nervous too. When I was singing the last song, I felt like I didn't hit a few notes right."

Tang Yue, standing by, shook her head. "You two are just under too much pressure. I'm really happy anyway. The feeling of being the last to appear is amazing!"

"But it's true that I'm very tired now."

The four of them smiled at each other and decided without hesitation to go home and have a sleep.

Ling Hu drove here today. His Lincoln extended sedan could seat many people, so he brought Luo Chen, Yue Shao and Zhou Yi Yang along as well. After all, everyone was going to the same destination.

"Hey, you guys..." Ling Hu was about to interrupt when he noticed Luo Chen, who was sitting next to him, gave him a look.

Ling Hu looked back and found that except for Zhou Yiyang who was typing on his mobile phone, the four of them had fallen asleep.

"They look quite tired." Ling Hu said in a low voice.

"That's nonsense," Luo Chen sighed. Everyone only saw the glamorous side of these four people, but they didn't know how much they had put in. "Besides the New Year's Eve party, they're also preparing for the Spring Festival Gala. And I heard that Su Yin and Tang Yue also took time to read scripts, and Xuan'er and Ruirui also had activities at the music festival. Sometimes I wonder if these four people don't know how tired they are."

"So, before I left Yiyang Entertainment, I thought I wanted to be the leader of our generation!"

Ling Hu laughed as he spoke. He was now certain that the leaders of their generation could only be the four girls in the back row.

They won too much.

"But I'm very impressed. They've put in much more effort than I have. I specialize in film and television, but they're well-rounded. If you listen to their performances, you can tell they've put in a lot of effort to achieve such a performance."

Luo Chen rarely agreed with Ling Hu's opinion. "That's true. That's why they've achieved such great results today. And to be honest, I was also very moved by their last song tonight."

"Nonsense, you're their mentor." Ling Hu laughed. "Did you ever imagine at that time that you would have several superstars under your command?"

"Honestly, no," Luo Chen said truthfully. "We all know that talent shows are the hardest to maintain. But who would have thought that these four people couldn't use common sense to make decisions."

"Hey, so, we're lucky to have been born in the same era as the four of them." Ling Hu laughed heartily. "When you mention them, we can't be left out. After all, we're still among the top male artists. And thanks to their connections, foreign audiences are becoming more and more accepting of our artists, our music, and our films."

When he said this, Ling Hu's voice was choked.

Who would have thought that a few years ago, Chinese music was often ridiculed by artists from Korea and Japan next door, and they had no way to refute it.

And now, they have become the largest music market in Asia.

The most obvious example is that Korean boy and girl groups have started releasing Chinese albums.

"I feel so proud right now!" Ling Hu clenched his fists. "I just hope that one day, the four of them can stand at the Oscars or the Grammys and loudly declare that our Chinese culture is the best!"

Luo Chen chuckled: "You're a little too excited, but I think that day is not far away."

As they were chatting, the two realized something was wrong. It was understandable that Yue Shao and the other three were asleep and couldn't hear what they were saying.

But why did Zhou Yiyang remain silent today? Judging from past events, he should have joined their chat long ago.

But when they turned around to look at Zhou Yiyang, they found that he was holding a mobile phone and laughing foolishly.

Of course, they only dared to think about such things in their hearts and would never dare to say them out loud.

"Hey, you actually sent me a message?"

The moment midnight arrived, Zhang Yiling received a message from Zhou Yiyang wishing her a Happy New Year.

Although she knew it was a group message, Zhang Yiling still firmly believed that it was sent specifically for her.

Zhou Yiyang smiled and would definitely not admit that it was a group message: "Well, you haven't slept yet?"

"No, I just watched the show!" Zhang Yiling looked very excited. "The sisters sang so touchingly tonight. I really like them! I regret that I should have flown back to watch this show!"

What moved Zhang Yiling the most was the moment when the fireworks bloomed in the night sky at midnight.

She seemed to see a shooting star streaking across the sky. What a romantic moment that must have been.

"There will be plenty of opportunities in the future," Zhou Yiyang comforted her.

"Yeah," Zhang Yiling nodded heavily. "Anyway, I've made up my mind. I want to return to China to develop my career. I don't know if my mother would be willing to come back with me!"

Zhou Yiyang did not answer her question, and he had no way to answer it.

The two of them soon started chatting about some trivial matters, which made Zhou Yiyang burst into laughter.

"Hey, you said, there is no possibility..." The fearless Ling Hu suddenly became bolder. He couldn't wait to say what he guessed.

But before that, Luo Chen had already covered Ling Hu's mouth with his hand: "Don't say it, if you don't want to be banned by the company. Let's not talk about the big boss's business."

Ling Hu glanced at Zhou Yiyang, thinking of how tough he was when he was filming a movie and in meetings, and nodded: "That's right, Mr. Zhou must have a good eye for people, we don't have to worry."
