Chapter 1277 Dinner Party Murder Case (3)

Hong Fu quickly withdrew her foot from Li Yueke's thigh. She still looked calm on the surface, as if there was nothing inappropriate between her and Li Yueke.

"Someone's here again." Li York raised his eyebrows. He seemed to be very interested in the guest who was about to come in. At this moment, he couldn't help but curl his lips. "It's really lively tonight."

"Who is it, who is it..." Amei looked like she was about to collapse. She buried her head so low that it looked like it was about to touch the plate.

Her lovely son, however, was much calmer. He held his mother's hand and swung his legs up and down happily.

"Mom, what are you worried about?"

Ah Mei turned her head, and when she wanted to yell at her unreasonable son, she felt a hot gaze coming from her right.

Jasmine was looking at her with lingering interest. When she realized that A-Mei was looking at her, she waved enthusiastically.

"Hello, I'm a writer. I'm wondering if you've read my work."

Amei took a deep breath and used this ancient method to slowly calm her heart.

"No, I just heard that you're a suspense writer. Actually, I'm quite timid and rarely read such works."

Jasmine exclaimed, but didn't feel any regret. "I see. Your son is quite cute."

"Ah Le, call me Auntie." Ah Mei tapped Ah Le's hand gently with her chopsticks. Ah Le pouted and hummed, "Hello, Auntie!"

Jasmine laughed and said, "No need, just call me sister."

Master Yang walked to the door again, and this time the knock was gentler, more like a test between acquaintances.

Master Yang waited until the knock on the door sounded for the sixth time before he slowly opened the door.

What appeared before him was a handsome face with a hint of evil charm.

However, after seeing the other party's very obvious police uniform, Master Yang immediately restrained his smile and asked respectfully:

"Hello, officer. I believe I have done nothing wrong. I have always been a law-abiding citizen."

Li York frowned and pushed the bowl in front of him forward: "Why is there a note here?"

"Are you afraid of the police?" Hong Fu asked casually, but she noticed out of the corner of her eye that Ms. Amei, who had been acting strangely since the blonde girl came in, was now sitting straight, as if she had recovered her spirit.

"Most people would be a little scared!" Li York opened his palm and moved his fingers one by one. "Especially the police here, they don't care about anything."

Mr. Jin, the private detective who had been concentrating on eating and never participated in the table chat, raised his head and looked at the two people at the door with interest.

One is a policeman, what is the identity of the person next to him?

The handsome policeman placed his hand on Master Yang's shoulder, but hesitated to speak. Only after sweat began to form on Master Yang's forehead did he burst into laughter. "Don't be afraid, I was just joking with you. You're the famous painter, right?"

The middle-aged man standing next to him didn't say anything. The shackles on his body were gone, and he looked like a taciturn plainclothes policeman.

"Not really famous," Master Yang laughed as he listened to the increasingly heavy rain outside. "Are you two here to take shelter? Indeed, there's no one else living around here except me. Then please come in!"

"Thank you!" The handsome policeman coughed, and the middle-aged man next to him immediately followed his pace.

When he stood beside the dining table, everyone, whether they were eating or not, turned to look at him.

"Hello everyone," the handsome policeman said, spreading his arms as if he was about to give a speech. "You can call me McCartney, and this is my colleague, you can call him Crocodile. I'm sorry to interrupt your party, and I hope our presence doesn't spoil the fun."

"Crocodile?" Li York lazily put his legs on the dining table, looking like he was challenging the police officer's authority. "So police officers have such a funny nickname."

McCartney's expression didn't change. He glanced around before continuing:

"After get off work, we are just ordinary people like you."

After saying this, McCartney sat down without caring whether others believed him or not.

At this time, the maid pushed open the door. Amei looked behind her deliberately and saw that the blonde girl was already lying on the bed.

The maid silently served the two policemen tableware and then disappeared.

"I'm full." Hongfu was the first to leave the table. When she realized that McCartney was looking at her, she smiled shyly.

The crocodile didn't care about the eyes of others. He ate voraciously, sometimes even using his hands.

When Mr. Jin saw his appearance, he noticed something different.

Li York went with Hong Fu, even though they were placed in different rooms.

This villa is very large. Even after Master Yang arranged a separate room for everyone present, there were still some rooms available.

Fatty Lu cleared his throat and said to Jasmine in a low voice, "Shall we go too?"

Jasmine hummed and quickly added the names of the two police officers on her paper.

After they arrived on the second floor, Fatty Lu immediately grabbed Jasmine's arm and said seriously, "Don't you think there's something wrong with the two people who came later?"

"Yeah." Jasmine suddenly laughed. "It's not just two of us. I think everyone in this room has problems, including you and me."

When he heard the last sentence, Fatty Lu, who had always behaved very gently, suddenly had a sinister light flashing in his eyes.

"This should be a good thing for you. You should have been thinking about the story already, right?"

Jasmine hummed, the corners of her mouth curled up. "I've even thought of a name for it. It's called 'The Dinner Party Murder Case'. A group of people with unknown origins living together, with a violent storm outside, it would definitely be interesting if someone died!"

As soon as she finished speaking, there was a noise downstairs.

They both looked downstairs at the same time and found that it was the maid who locked the door.

Hongfu and Li York entered the same room and they hugged each other impatiently.

"I thought you were a reserved academic master like what was written on the Internet." Li York pressed Hong Fu on the bed.

Hong Fu pushed him away: "Wait a minute, you haven't taken a shower yet!"
