When Zhou Yiyang was on Earth, he also rode a bike to give rides to people of the opposite sex.
But the other party was a woman in her thirties, a colleague at work.
So when Zhou Yiyang later read various literature about the pain of youth, he felt no emotion when he saw boys riding bicycles with girls on the campus paths covered with fallen maple leaves.
But now, after Su Yin sat in the back seat, Zhou Yiyang finally realized what it felt like.
If this were on a college campus, he had no doubt he would become the public enemy of his male peers.
"The road is a bit shaky..." Zhou Yiyang reminded.
"Okay, I'll be careful." Su Yin's voice was no different from usual.
Zhou Yiyang felt that he might have suddenly had the ideal of changing careers to become a cyclist, and his legs began to spin wildly almost uncontrollably.
Well, he just wanted to get to town quickly.
The morning breeze has not been fully exposed to the sun yet, it is quite cool and feels very comfortable when it falls on the arms.
However, the wind also brought the fragrance of Su Yin's hair.
A faint scent, like the fragrance of grass.
Fortunately, he didn't meet anyone else on this road, so even though Zhou Yiyang rode very fast, he didn't have to worry about sudden braking, and he rode very steadily all the way.
After arriving in town safely, Su Yin's mood became noticeably more excited: "Brother Yang, there's a bun shop over there!"
Sweat dripped down Zhou Yiyang's forehead. He kept panting, obviously exhausted. "How did you see that? I took a look, and there was nothing!"
"I didn't see it," Su Yin explained immediately, then raised the corners of her mouth and said proudly, "I smelled the aroma of the buns!"
Zhou Yiyang chose to trust his foodie sense and followed Su Yin's instructions, heading towards the alley.
"Really! And the business is pretty good!" Zhou Yiyang indeed saw the bun shop. The name was quite interesting, called Wangwang Bun Shop.
When he arrived at the door, Zhou Yiyang knew why the store was named like this.
There was a lazy local dog lying at the door of the store. When a customer approached, it raised its head and yawned, then continued to lie down and sleep.
Just very lazy.
"Boss," Zhou Yiyang waited in line for a while until it was finally his turn. "What's your signboard?"
The boss is an old man who looks to be in his fifties or sixties.
"Young man, you are the big director who makes TV shows, right?" Unexpectedly, the boss was the first to recognize Zhou Yiyang's identity.
"Hey, is it so obvious?" Zhou Yiyang asked in surprise.
The boss burst into laughter and continued, "You two are so good-looking and well-dressed. You look nothing like us locals. Besides, I've been doing business here for decades. I recognize every household."
Zhou Yiyang nodded, and followed the boss's suggestion and bought a basket of the signature braised pork buns and an additional basket of beef buns.
The buns here were much larger than the steamed dumplings in Shanghai, and closer to the meat buns in Shanghai. Zhou Yiyang measured them and found they were about the size of Su Yin's palm.
Su Yin sat at the table, took a bite of the braised pork bun, and then a happy expression appeared on her face.
“It’s delicious!”
The boss laughed out loud and gave them two more bowls of kelp soup.
Zhou Yiyang thought the braised pork buns were delicious, as were the beef buns. He felt it was worth waiting in line for so long to get these buns.
After the two of them had eaten and drunk their fill, Zhou Yiyang bought breakfast for the others who were still asleep.
Half an hour later.
"What did I see?" Tang Yue stretched out in front of the window, wondering if she had seen it wrongly. "Xiao Xiao Su is actually sitting in Brother Yang's car and is back!"
"Car?" Wang Xingrui, who was brushing her teeth, suspected she had misheard: "Why do I remember that Brother Yang didn't drive here?"
"Bicycle!" Tang Yue became more and more excited as she spoke: "But little Su Tai is not very good at it. She doesn't even know how to hug our Brother Yang's waist!"
"What have you been thinking about all day long?" Lin Xuan'er came over and knocked on Tang Yue's head: "Go wash your face!"
At first everyone was still wondering where Zhou Yiyang and Su Yin had gone, but now it was different. After everyone smelled the fragrance of the buns, they decisively ignored it and focused on eating.
Chu Tianjiao smiled and said, "Brother Yang, that's fine. I was worried that you couldn't find this shop! This is the most famous bun shop in our town."
"You have to thank Xiao Xiao Su for this," Zhou Yiyang smiled, "She found it."
After breakfast, the shooting began.
In order to cooperate with the recording process, Yue Shao and his three friends had to return to the town first, and then be welcomed back to the yard by four resident guests.
After the four of them got in the car and went back, they all had helpless expressions on their faces.
There's nothing we can do about it, because that's the show's rules! When the show airs, the audience won't know that the four of them actually stayed here for a night.
Wen Yuan and Chu Tianjiao are the core of the guests. One of them has a high status and can control the situation when facing any guest.
Whether Chu Tianjiao was cooking or working, she was greatly recognized by Wen Yuan.
The two men, Ma Jianning and Xiao Li, are mainly responsible for odd jobs and physical work.
However, Ma Jianning was obviously used to being lazy at home. Even when recording the show, he lay on the sofa unconsciously.
However, Xiao Li next to him went to the mountain to carry firewood.
Wen Yuan walked over and happened to see this scene. Her face immediately darkened: "What are you doing? Didn't you sleep well last night?"
Ma Jianning stood up with a start, and when he met Wen Yuan's fierce gaze, he immediately became timid: "Sister, I'm used to it at home. And you know, it's usually my wife who does the work. I don't know how to do anything!"
