Chapter 574 Peacock (Part 2)

Xiaohua responded.

The four members of the family are all busy with their own things, but there is no trace of worldly affairs, only an endless sense of depression.

When the meal started, Dapang pointed at Feifei's face and laughed: "Your face is stained, big cat!"

Feifei glared at Dapang fiercely, her eyes seemed to be filled with poison.

"What's wrong with your face?" Cuifen asked coldly.

Feifei didn't answer. Seeing Cuifen about to explode, Xiaohua said:

"I won't be going home for dinner this weekend."

"Why?"

Feifei and Cuifen asked at the same time.

"There's a new zoo in the city, and my colleagues suggested we go there this weekend."

"Is it fun?" Feifei asked.

"Are the tickets expensive?" This is the question Cuifen is concerned about.

"I heard it's fun," Xiaohua said in the same cold tone. "It's not expensive. The leader is treating."

Cuifen nodded and continued eating.

This attitude shows that she has acquiesced to this matter.

After dinner, Cuifen took out a handful of candy from her bag.

Xiaohua and Feifei lowered their heads, not feeling touched at all.

But Dapang suddenly became excited: "Candy, eat candy!"

Cuifen gave four-fifths of the candy to Dapang, and divided the remaining one-fifth equally between Xiaohua and Feifei.

The two had no complaints at all, as this had been a tradition for many years.

Dapang happily held all the candies in his hands, then ran back to the house happily.

He wants to hide all the candies in a jar.

"I'm going to work the night shift," Cuifen said hurriedly. She glanced at Xiaohua and warned, "Look after your brother. Make sure nothing happens to him. We don't have the money to go to the hospital again!"

After her mother left, Xiaohua's originally empty eyes actually showed some life.

"Did you buy it?"

she asked quietly.

"I bought it." Feifei's eyes darted around, clearly a sign of a guilty conscience. "Let's talk outside."

They came to the corridor.

The corridor of the tube-shaped building is not just an aisle, it is also a dining room, a social place, and an extension of the home.

Every day, their family of four eats here.

The night wind blew, and Xiaohua and Feifei shivered at the same time.

The light from next door shone through the window, barely illuminating their faces.

Full of anxiety.

"I did as you said. I found the man and bought the rat poison."

After Feifei finished speaking, she stomped her feet hard, as if she had just said something unlucky.

"I didn't say that," Xiaohua said, turning her back to Feifei and looking up at the sky. "You came up with the idea, and I was just giving you some advice."

"Who cares!" Feifei finally made up her mind: "Tonight, just tonight, I'll put rat poison in his cup. He gets up every night to drink water without anyone noticing."

"Have you really thought it through?" Xiaohua asked.

"Yes," Feifei nodded. "Because of him, your dream of joining the Air Force has been shattered, and the paratrooper you liked is gone. As for me, I'm bullied and looked down upon by my classmates. You see, our misfortunes are all because of him! And Mom too. If it weren't for him, how could she have worked so hard? If he gets married in the future, won't he bring disaster to the whole family?"

It is better for all of us that he is dead!"

Feifei became more and more excited as he spoke, and the timidity and guilt in his heart became less and less.

"You know what?" Xiaohua answered irrelevantly. "I've been having dreams lately. I dreamt I was flying a plane, soaring in the sky. And he was sitting next to me."

"As long as you agree, that's enough, sister." Feifei didn't care about Xiaohua's mumbling, he just wanted to find an ally.

Dapang sat on the bed, holding his candy jar and smiling foolishly.
