Chapter 701 Liar

After signing, the boy introduced their background to his bewildered mother.

He spent several minutes talking about how awesome the girl group Moonlight Girls was.

When it was Luo Chen and Ling Hu's turn, he said briefly, "They're also big stars, very popular."

"I remember now," the proprietress said, looking at them and coming to her senses. "I've seen you on TV. You look even better in person! Well, how about I close the door for you first? Otherwise, if someone sees you, it won't be good for you."

Wang Xingrui immediately found a familiar feeling.

The first time she came here to eat hot pot was when she was strolling around here one day. After she got hungry, she wanted to eat something, but when she felt in her trouser pocket, she found that her wallet and mobile phone were missing.

When the proprietress saw her standing outside the store alone and at a loss, she not only treated her to a meal, but also took her to the police station.

"Will this affect your business?" Su Yin asked worriedly. She felt that such a good boss deserved to be known by more foodies.

"It's okay," the proprietress smiled. "The people who come here to eat are all regular customers from the neighborhood. Sometimes they come with their whole family and ask me to close the door, just like eating at home."

"Excuse me," Tang Yue asked in a low voice, "I still want to know, won't this be a loss?"

The proprietress burst into laughter. "A lot of people have asked me this, but I can keep this business going forever. I'm sure I won't lose money. This shop is my own, and my husband and I are the only employees, so the costs are low. Besides, how much money can someone make in their lifetime? Can they spend it all?"

"I think it's enough to make enough money. My family often closes the shop and goes out to play! Anyway, just tell the neighbors."

Yang Ping couldn't help but pick up the camera at this time: "Um, can you let me shoot a video? I'm a director."

"Of course." The proprietress agreed readily and ran back to the kitchen in her flat shoes.

This action made Yang Ping a little confused.

"My mom must be putting on makeup," the boy said disdainfully, then raised his chin with a hint of pride. "My shop may not be big, but the food is really good! My dad makes our coriander meatballs by chopping the stuffing himself every day. And my mom's fried crispy pork is also amazing! A lot of people take it home to eat!"

Su Yin was already drooling at the sound of it.

Tang Yue asked the boy in confusion: "Then why don't you want to come out and help your mother greet the guests?"

If someone else asked this question, the boy might refuse to answer.

But now the person asking him was his idol, and after a moment's hesitation he said truthfully, "I, I just felt it wouldn't be nice if my classmates saw me. Many people in my class have families that are officials or own factories..."

"I understand you." Wang Xingrui looked at the boy and smiled. "When I first joined 101, I was particularly afraid of the topic of discussing my family. Because I'm from the countryside, and they are all farmers. If I told you that there is no discrimination in this society, that would be a lie. But now I can say it with confidence because I have become strong. So, little brother, study hard and make yourself a better person."

At this time, the boss's wife came back and found that her son had a strange expression.

She patted her face and asked bluntly, "Director, does my look look good? I just put on some powder and touched up my lipstick. Oh, I should have gotten a perm earlier."

Yang Ping was amused by the not-at-all-shy proprietress: "Sister, you're really humorous and funny. But I'm a little hesitant about whether to post the video. What if your shop becomes an internet celebrity and disrupts your life?"

"Send it," the proprietress said nonchalantly. "Maybe my mind will change by then. I'm a spontaneous person."

Su Yin whispered to Lin Xuan'er, "I think this lady boss has her own ideas."

However, they were soon conquered by the boss lady's cooking skills. Just as her son said, the fried crispy pork in this restaurant was so delicious that Su Yin cried on the spot.

"Can this be sent back to Shanghai? I love it so much!"

She sucked her fingers, still not satisfied.

Lin Xuan'er and Tang Yue were sweating from the spicy hot pot, but they couldn't stop eating for a moment.

"It's spicy, but it feels so good!"

Ling Hu and Luo Chen ate in a very artistic way, as they also couldn't handle spicy food.

It would be great if there was a shabu-shabu hotpot. They both had the same idea.

The hotpot meal made the entire crew feel refreshed and they were finally able to devote themselves to the subsequent filming work.

"What are your plans next?" Yang Ping asked after putting down his chopsticks.

"Let's go home with Ruirui," Tang Yue raised her head and touched her stomach. She had overindulged herself today. "Then let's go back to rehearsal. We still have a tour coming up!"

"You guys are so busy." Ling Hu sighed, "You have to make movies and hold concerts. Fortunately, I am an actor now."

"Acting is exhausting, too," Wang Xingrui said, resisting the urge to continue eating. "Sometimes I can only sleep for two or three hours while filming. Several actors I met at events before basically all had sleep problems."

"But the amazing thing is," Su Yin added, "None of the four of us had any sleep problems. We ate well and slept well."

After they had their fill, Yue Shao and his three companions returned to the hotel.

Zhou Yiyang had just walked out of the office and took the coffee specially made for him by his assistant.

After taking a sip, he slowly said, "I'll postpone this meeting tomorrow. I have something urgent to do."

The assistant nodded and immediately made a note of it.
