The desert was so big that the four girls in the off-road vehicle suspected they were lost.
"Brother Yang, are you sure this is the road? Why do I feel like we've just been here?" Wang Xingrui couldn't help but think of the many horror novels she had read, in which the protagonists got lost in the desert and could never find a way out.
"I..." Zhou Yiyang paused and glanced at the tour guide beside him. "Should it be here?"
"It looks familiar to me too," Tang Yue suddenly regretted applying more sunscreen before going out. "I suddenly feel like we've been going in circles!"
"So..." Su Yin reluctantly opened her eyes slowly under the glaring sun. "Are we already in the maze?"
Only Lin Xuan'er was still pretending to be calm. She instinctively believed in the dark-skinned tour guide who looked very experienced.
"It shouldn't be a problem. The tour guide must have special skills in finding the right direction. And when I just left the city, I saw a government tourism promotion saying that this road is developed, so there won't be any problems."
The tour guide smiled and gave Lin Xuan'er a thumbs-up. "You're very smart and observant. There's only one road in the desert, so as long as you follow it, you won't get lost. But if someone deliberately deviates from the route, you might get lost."
"There's a beautiful intersection up ahead. I can stop and let you take pictures. You girls should all like these."
After getting the tour guide's affirmative answer, they all couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
It seemed that they were not lost. Once they calmed down, they became interested in taking pictures.
Zhou Yiyang also picked up the camera. As a director, he certainly would not miss any beautiful scenery.
On both sides of the road, which can only accommodate one car, are rows of red willow trees that have taken root there.
Further out, there is the endless desert, and occasionally you can see some tenacious little animals emerging from the sand and rocks.
Zhou Yiyang took a photo while lying on the road:
In the photo, the four of them are sitting on the roof of an off-road vehicle, with the vast desert and cloudless sky behind them. Their charming faces and the vast and lonely scenery together give people a sense of poignant beauty.
"It's really beautiful," Su Yin immediately moved behind Zhou Yiyang and looked closely at his camera. "Brother Yang, you're such a great photographer! If you post this photo online, it's sure to be trending."
"Yeah," Zhou Yiyang didn't deny it, "But I can't post it now. This photo will be used for group promotion later."
Now Zhou Yiyang feels more and more that after this group variety show is broadcast, those niche tourist attractions that Moonlight Girls have visited will probably become check-in spots for Internet celebrities.
The local leaders who contacted him and took the initiative to invite him to come here to shoot are really foresighted.
By the time the second season is recorded, the competition will probably be much more intense.
They took photos here for twenty minutes before leaving reluctantly.
"I just realized how beautiful the scenic spots in our country are, but many people don't know about them."
"That's right," Lin Xuan'er said proudly, "Isn't there a saying about the most beautiful highway in America? I think our road is not bad at all!"
"That's true," Zhou Yiyang nodded in agreement. "It's just that many scenic spots haven't kept up with the thinking of the new era and underestimated the importance of marketing."
The four of them nodded heavily again.
They have all seen Zhou Yiyang's marketing. Their initial popularity was inseparable from marketing.
"Everyone," the guide said cheerfully, "the maze is ahead. Look, you should be able to see a little bit of its overall appearance now."
Everyone looked in the direction the tour guide pointed, and sure enough, there was a group of huge stone pillars.
They are the same length and similar in size, as if they were built by human nature.
These stone pillars appear abruptly in the desert, giving people a strange feeling.
Tang Yue shuddered subconsciously. In fact, the scenery in front of her was not scary at all, but rather beautiful.
But for some reason, she couldn't help but tremble in her heart.
It was an inexplicably weird feeling.
"These stone pillars," Su Yin said, craning her neck to gaze into the distance. "When were they discovered? Are there any records of how they appeared?"
The tour guide shook his head, as if he had no idea. "I really can't answer you about this. Anyway, it's been there a long time ago. These stone pillars have been there as long as I can remember. But you know, not many people dared to enter this desert back then, so it's possible that these stone pillars were already there when we discovered them. If you ask me, this might be made by God himself!"
Hearing what the other party said, Wang Xingrui and Tang Yue couldn't help but shudder.
Things that seem unlikely to exist in reality are always naturally frightening.
Lin Xuan'er hesitated to speak, as if she felt that the more questions she asked, the more frightened they would become.
"What's wrong? Are you scared again?" Zhou Yiyang said with a smile, "You should maintain this state. When you shoot horror movies next time, you can perform it and it will definitely infect the audience."
Su Yin agreed: "Indeed, Tangtang is a natural horror movie actor!"
"Ahem," Tang Yue blushed and glared at Su Yin fiercely. "Don't think I don't know. You're just being sarcastic! But aren't these things found all over the world? Rather than saying they're ghosts or gods, they're more like relics from other civilizations that once inhabited this land."
