Chapter 866: Léon: The Professional

The movie opens with a gunfight scene.

Violence is an element that is often abused in commercial films, but it can also be used just right to make people's eyes shine.

Helian Bei, wearing round-frame sunglasses and carrying a gun, came to a detached house.

Zhou Yiyang did not directly show the audience how Helian Bei killed people, but instead expressed it all through several corpses that suddenly fell down.

Obviously, this technique is more likely to create a tense atmosphere for the audience.

In just a few minutes, the audience was captivated by Zhou Yiyang's story.

A mysterious killer from the East, this setting alone is fascinating enough.

The chase scene between him and his prey was shot thrillingly by Zhou Yiyang. The heartbeat of the "prey" was amplified, making the audience deeply empathize with it.

They knew that this was a "drug lord" who deserved to be put to death, but they were still frightened by Helian Bei, the elusive killer.

After completing the task, Helian Bei walked into a convenience store calmly and bought a box of pure milk.

The boss smiled at him, obviously he was a regular customer here.

Su Yin smiled knowingly when she saw this. A killer who loves to drink milk, well, she really likes this setting.

She slowed her breathing, feeling that they had made the right decision by running all the way here to watch the movie.

Zhou Yiyang glanced around and found that almost everyone was staring at the screen intently, and seemed to be very interested in his story.

The story does not specify in which city it takes place, but judging from the appearance of passers-by on the street, it should be a country in the Golden Triangle.

The killer returned to his apartment, and the camera followed the spiral staircase all the way up, finally freezing on two long legs in flowery pants.

The camera slowly moved upwards, and the cigarette between her right fingers was very conspicuous. Further up, a beautiful girl with a delicate face and mixed-race appearance appeared on the big screen.

She smoked skillfully, but her eyes were clear.

So the two met for the first time in the corridor.

After a brief conversation, no further story happened.

However, after Helian Bei returned to the house, he heard voices coming from his door.

The little girl put on her shawl and threw the cigarette into the corner.

There is not much dialogue, and a lot of information is missing.

Lin Xuan'er watched with unusual concentration. She hadn't expected Zhou Yiyang to choose a drug-busting theme this time. At least that's what she thought.

The little girl's father was believed to be hiding drugs, so he offended a eccentric policeman.

This blond, blue-eyed, handsome policeman was wearing headphones, which were playing classic classical music.

He just sniffed at the girl's father and walked away with a wicked smile: "Tomorrow at noon, find the person who hid the drugs, dear."

In just over ten minutes, several characters have appeared. However, the audience was not confused by this and quickly drew a symbol for each character.

This is also due to the details Zhou Yiyang set for these characters. Of course, these ideas were all copied from the original work.

A cold killer who loves milk, a precocious problem girl, a weird policeman who loves classical music.

After the girl was slapped by her father, the audience understood where the scar on her face came from. Seeing this, Tang Yue subconsciously clenched her fists and felt very sympathetic to this character.

Behind the door, the killer's sunglasses saw everything.

The camera switches back and forth between the girl and the killer's family.

One reason is that there are many family members, and it is lively but not free. I will be beaten by my sister if I watch TV.

One was alone, lonely but casual. He placed a potted plant in the most conspicuous place in the house.

The killer waters the flowers, exercises, and takes a bath in an orderly manner, living a simple and disciplined life.

The girl pretended to be a mother and picked up the phone. It was from a school for troubled teenagers. The other end told her that if she didn't go to school, she would be expelled and her tuition would not be refunded.

There was no emotion in Zhang Yiling's eyes. She said decisively, "She is dead," and hung up the phone.

The two met again, and the killer looked at the girl whose face was covered with wounds and handed her a tissue.

Zhang Yiling raised her head and wiped the blood from her nose, her eyes filled with hatred.

At that moment, no one would doubt why Zhou Yiyang gave up his actor and chose a newcomer.

Zhang Yiling is indeed suitable for this role, and she fully portrays the character's rebelliousness and precocity.

Just that one glance became a classic shot that many people will never forget.

"Is life always this painful? Or is it only like this when you're a kid?"

She was asking this question to the killer and also to all the audience watching the movie.

Perhaps everyone subconsciously gave an answer in their hearts, but the killer just replied calmly: "It's always like this."

Perhaps the killer's words soothed her, or perhaps she just wanted to get some fresh air. The girl offered to go to the store downstairs and bring back two cartons of milk for the killer.

She circled the stairs, a smile on her face.

When all the audience thought that the next plot would happen between the two of them, perhaps it would be an incomprehensible love affair, or perhaps it would be some kind of relationship beyond friendship.

Regardless, it's a fairly routine plot. The emotional entanglement between the iceberg killer and the troubled girl also fits in with the theme of "Léon: The Professional."

However, Zhou Yiyang once again made the audience guess wrong, and a tragedy happened "quietly".

The police appeared again and, accompanied by a classical piece of music, shot and killed the girl's entire family.

Only the girl who bought milk escaped the disaster.
