Chapter 946 Debut

After returning to the villa, Zhou Yiyang turned on his computer, and the first thing he received was a video sent by Zhang Yiling.

"It was sent so quickly?" Zhou Yiyang opened the video with interest, his eyes full of anticipation.

This was an agreement, or a request, between Zhang Yiling and him.

This happened two months ago. After Zhang Yiling successfully finished her final exams, her summer vacation also began.

Unlike her peers, Zhang Yiling spent most of her summer vacation on various extracurricular tutoring sessions given by her grandfather.

"You're quite good, aren't you?" Zhou Yiyang said with a smile. "Other people want these people to help them with filming, but they can't even afford it."

Zhou Yiyang felt that Zhang Yiling was a little ungrateful for her good fortune. If he had such good conditions when he was a child, he would probably have become a director on Earth.

"I know," Zhang Yiling said, sitting in front of her computer, fixing her hair. She and Zhou Yiyang had been apart for less than half a year, but she had matured considerably. She looked like a grown-up woman. "But I'm still tired. It's not something I can change."

After they chatted for a few more sentences, Zhou Yiyang clearly felt that she had something else to say.

"You didn't come to chat with me specifically for this, did you?" Zhou Yiyang asked proactively.

"Okay," Zhang Yiling knew that Zhou Yiyang was a busy man, and it was already great that he could spare some time to chat with her. "I plan to secretly take some photos when I have time. Can you take a look at them for me and give me some guidance?"

"That's definitely no problem," Zhou Yiyang didn't expect that this was what Zhang Yiling was asking for, but he was still a little puzzled. "You have so many great directors around you, not to mention your grandfather. He's my teacher, and he's definitely more professional than me. Why did you go to such great lengths to find me?"

Zhang Yiling, who was sitting in front of the computer, pursed her lips when she saw these words, and was obviously a little unhappy.

She murmured softly to the screen before typing:

"We're close in age, and I think you can better understand what I'm writing. So, do you want to help me read it?"

"Okay." Zhou Yiyang agreed.

This wasn't a burden to him, and he also wanted to see if seeing the world from Zhang Yiling's perspective was different.

And today, Zhou Yiyang indeed received the first work sent by Zhang Yiling.

"It's my debut, um, my first official work. You're also the first person to read it!"

Just from her continuous exclamation marks, Zhou Yiyang could see Zhang Yiling's excitement and surging mood.

It is obvious that Zhang Yiling cares a lot about her first work.

Zhou Yiyang also opened the video with anticipation and couldn't wait to watch it.

"Her hands are a bit shaky," Zhou Yiyang noticed, noting that Zhang Yiling was shaking quite a bit in the opening scene. "But maybe she did it on purpose, imitating the documentary format."

A blonde girl in her teens squatted in the middle of the road. She turned her head and looked into the distance, and saw a short-haired young man in black clothes walking towards her.

"Is this a crime thriller?" Zhou Yiyang couldn't help but wonder, could it be that this girl was abducted? "I didn't realize she had such a strong sense of social responsibility."

However, the next second, Zhou Yiyang felt like he was slapped in the face.

Because he saw the man bend down and hold the girl in his arms.

"Perhaps, this is her father? But why is he so young?" Zhou Yiyang was still struggling: "What exactly does she want to express?"

However, the next second, the girl took the initiative to pull off the man's mask and kissed him hard on the lips.

That is a mark of love.

Zhou Yiyang was a worldly-wise man after all, so although he was a little surprised, he didn't lose his composure.

He touched his nose bridge, not quite understanding why Zhang Yiling took the photo like that.

Could it be that she has a crush on a man who is much older than her?

"No way," Zhou Yiyang suddenly felt a deep sense of guilt, even ashamed of Zhang Yingyuan. "Could it be that after filming my movie, she developed an attachment to adult men, and then misinterpreted this attachment as love?"

The more Zhou Yiyang thought about it, the more it made sense. He even deduced that the reason why Zhang Yiling showed it to him instead of to his grandfather was because she was afraid that Director Zhang would not see through her little thoughts and blame her.

Zhang Yiling looked up at the computer from time to time, then looked down at her mobile phone.

Her expression seemed a little nervous, but there was also something... cunning in her eyes?

Zhou Yiyang suppressed all his wild thoughts and watched the subsequent plot carefully.

Fortunately, Zhang Yiling did not film the two kissing for an hour. After the two separated, the girl bravely spoke out her feelings:

"Let's elope!"

The man looked embarrassed: "Miss, no, I can't do this!"

Zhou Yiyang got goosebumps all over his body. The acting of these two people was really greasy.

He felt like he was watching an old Mary Sue romance drama.

"Why!" the girl said indignantly, "Don't you love me? Or do you only love my identity, my face?"

Zhou Yiyang held back for a long time before finally laughing out loud.

In fact, Zhang Yiling's shots are quite good, and each switch of perspective is very appropriate. Some of the empty shots are also very charming.

However, her entire script is a bit thin.

This 20-minute short film tells the story of a tutor who falls in love with her employer's daughter. It's a very typical, yet outdated love story.

Although Zhang Yiling used a lot of shooting techniques and imaginative compositions to make the whole movie vivid, it still couldn't save the actors' poor acting skills and mediocre script.

The only thing that made Zhou Yiyang feel bright was the ending.

According to common sense, the hero should be brave for love, take the heroine away from home and create a new life for them. Or the hero uses his actions to prove himself, so that the heroine's family accepts him and they live happily together from then on.

However, in Zhang Yiling's filming, the male protagonist finally chose to give up, and the girl packed her bags and went to a foreign land alone to pursue the life she wanted.

"How is it?" Zhang Yiling sent the message almost on time.

Zhou Yiyang thought about it and told the truth:

"I can see that you've been studying very hard lately, but if you want to make a movie in the future, you'd better find a good screenwriter."

Zhang Yiling stuck out her tongue but was not angry. At least Zhou Yiyang still praised her.

"Thanks! I won't bother you anymore, so as not to affect your work. I'm looking forward to your new movie! I'll go to the cinema to support you when it's released!"
