They didn't stop until they reached a deserted place.
She felt wronged and took out her phone to call her mother.

In one of the three bedrooms and one living room rooms, a woman in a bathrobe was sitting, eating sunflower seeds and watching TV.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you crying?"
"Did you have a fight with Dongyang?"

You Shuang had intended to confide in her mother, but when her mother asked her this question, her face turned pale, and she stammered.
Seeing her daughter's hesitant reaction, the woman instantly understood most of it.
"Mom, didn't I tell you that I landed a role in a movie? The lead role. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The company arranged for the actors to have dinner with the clients. I just had dinner."
"I......"
"I didn't mean to, really, I didn't mean to," You Shuang said, crying as large tears streamed down her face.
On the other end of the phone, the middle-aged woman paused for a moment, her brows furrowing.
