Chapter 77: Men can’t say no.

"Thanos is right." I said jokingly.

Looking at this spacious intersection...it's crowded with people...it's full of heads.

I once again said to Chang Yue in confusion, "Why are there so many people here? Could it be that Jay Chou is here? I haven't heard of him either."

Chang Yue shook his head, also looking shocked, and said in confusion: "I don't know, what should I do now? It's hard to get a taxi here, right? Where is the hotel?"

"About thirty kilometers..." I spoke slowly, feeling a little worried. I would definitely not be able to get a taxi in this crowded place.

Chang Yue was stunned for a moment. After thinking for a while, he said, "Then let's walk in the direction of the hotel and see if we can get a taxi in a less crowded place."

I nodded... then I held her hand... looked at the navigation... and walked for nearly an hour and a half... I couldn't get a taxi through my phone and no one accepted the order... The taxis were either already occupied or refused to take me.

Since it was so late, there were not many buses running..and they were all full..

In this way, we walked all the way from the bustling area to the suburbs. There were few people coming and going, and the environment became increasingly quiet.

I turned my head to look at Chang Yue and saw that she looked a little tired. I asked softly, "Let me carry you. You must be tired."

She shook her head, forced a smile, and said, "Not for now, I can still do it."

We walked and talked about interesting things.. and walked for another half an hour..

Chang Yue suddenly squatted down, looking at me pitifully with her big eyes, and said in a coquettish tone: "Lin Yu... I really can't walk anymore."

I squatted down with a feeling of distress. After all, we had been walking around the streets for almost a whole day. Even a grown man like me who exercises regularly has legs that feel tired and sore, let alone her.

I took out the drink from my bag, opened it, and handed it to her. She took it, took a sip, and stood up. I took the drink and put it back, then handed her the bag and said, "Here." Then I squatted down and said, "Come up."

"How far can you carry it?" Chang Yue asked a little worriedly.

"Take it one step at a time. If there is a taxi, just stop it. Come on, don't hesitate." I urged her.

Chang Yue came up to me. I stood up and walked step by step.

After walking for nearly ten minutes, I felt a little exhausted and was breathing heavily. Beads of sweat appeared on my forehead.

She asked, "Are you too tired? I'll come down and walk by myself."

My face flushed red, but I still shook my head stubbornly. I really didn't want to waste my energy talking.

I continued walking for eight or nine minutes... Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore... I gently put her down... I sat down on the ground, feeling as if all the strength in my body had been drained.

She quickly helped me up. I waved my hand to refuse, panting heavily and said, "Let me rest for a while..."

Seeing my flushed face, she couldn't help but jokingly asked, "Are you not feeling well?"

My eyes widened and I hurriedly said, "How could it be impossible? How could I not be able to do it? How can a man say that he can't do it? His injury from the past two days hasn't healed yet, otherwise he wouldn't be able to do it this way."

She covered her mouth and chuckled, saying comfortingly, "Okay, I know you can do it, very well."

I always felt that she was being a bit sarcastic...her mind was hot...and she blurted out without thinking: "Maybe you are too tired today, otherwise I would have no problem carrying it back to you."

Chang Yue laughed even harder after hearing this... I couldn't tell if he was mocking me for being so stubborn or laughing at my nonsense...

I felt a little depressed. I stood up and picked her up horizontally. I said fiercely, "Believe it or not, I will throw you away."

"If you don't believe me, throw one to me and see..." She said nonchalantly with a confident look on her face.

I looked at her delicate and playful face. The depression in my heart disappeared immediately, and I bit her nose lightly.

"Oh, there's saliva all over it..." She immediately cried out in a coquettish tone and reached out to pinch my arm.

I quickly put her down. Feeling guilty, I sighed and said, "Oh, it's all my fault. If I had arranged it in advance, I wouldn't be in such a mess."

"Nonsense, blame me for coming here... Can you still leave?" She looked at me with concern in her eyes and asked...

"Sure, what about you?" I responded.

She smiled sweetly at me and said, "Please hold my hand and walk with me. That way I'll have more strength."

"Okay." I held her hand tightly and we walked slowly.

I know she's very tired... she just doesn't want me to feel guilty... but I really blame myself... I hate myself for not being able to do it... If I had a car of my own, even if there was a traffic jam... it wouldn't matter, at least she could rest...

Zhu Wei's is not good. If something goes wrong with too many people, I can't afford it.

After walking for another half an hour, she came across a lawn and sat down on it.

I sat down next to her.

She leaned on my shoulder, put her arm around my hand, and pointed to the residential complex in the distance. She said, "I don't want to buy a house in the city. I want to build one in my hometown."

"Why?"

She lowered her head and said softly, "Because... never mind. Will you force me to tell you?"

I shook my head and said with a smile, "If you don't want to talk about it, I won't ask. It's not too late to talk about it when you want to. Anyway, I'm always here."

She twisted her two fingers together and muttered softly, "Actually, if you force me, I'll tell you."

I looked her in the eyes and said, "I won't force you to do anything. Just say what you want to say and do what you want to do. It's up to you."
