Now I'm delivering packages... I'm thinking, after this year, I'll find a sales job next year... This job has no future, but I still have to find a way to realize the boasts I made as a child... become rich and do whatever I want.
As I was thinking, I drifted off to sleep.
December 24th..
Chang Yue and I bought breakfast and went to see Yang Xue. She was recovering well. Her complexion looked much rosier and she would be able to be discharged from the hospital in a while. We chatted with her for a while.
I sent Chang Yue to the store and went to work myself.
I was in good shape today, delivering nearly 170 orders. It's a bit better than yesterday, and I'm quite satisfied. I don't need to compare myself with others. I just need to compare myself with myself yesterday.
In the evening...after get off work, I picked up Chang Yue and went to Yang Xue's place...
"How's your recovery going?" I asked.
Yang Xue nodded and said, "Much better now. The drainage tubes have been removed. You can get out of bed and exercise tomorrow."

December 25th..
It was almost time for lunch break...I received a call from Yang Xue...She said she wanted to get out of bed and walk around, but didn't want to call the nurse...I agreed without hesitation.
I ran to the hospital without even eating... When Yang Xue saw me, she smiled happily.
"I'll help you down..." I said.
Yang Xue nodded... I carefully helped her get out of bed slowly, and held the saline bag for her with my other hand... I was very gentle, for fear of pulling any tubes or something.
So... I supported her and walked slowly in the ward. Just as we reached the window... Yang Xue suddenly stopped, looked up at me... Then she lowered her head and whispered, "Do you think I'm troublesome?"
I whispered, "How could that be..."
After hearing this, Yang Xue hesitated for a moment, took a deep breath, then raised her head, looked straight at me, and asked softly, "Have you ever liked me?"
