Chapter 11 World One [11]

Chapter 11 World One [11]

After drying his hair and coming out of the bathroom, Shang Siyu saw Jing Ke sitting on the single sofa and sighing, and couldn't help showing a hint of curiosity.

"What's wrong? Did you see any bad news?" Shang Siyu asked. She and Jing Ke were wearing the same pajamas but different colors.

However, Shang Siyu buttoned all the buttons of her pajamas, even the top one, giving her the feeling of wearing pajamas as formal attire.

"It's nothing, I just found that the search engines commonly used by humans are a bit bad and didn't give me the answers I wanted." Jing Ke said truthfully with a hint of sigh in his tone.

"If you ever want to change your career, maybe you can start with this and create a software with higher search accuracy. It will definitely receive a lot of praise."

Shang Siyu smiled after hearing this. "Some search engines are like this. If you look up the cause of your headache, they'll make you think you have a terminal illness. In daily searches, websites that have invested in promotions will appear at the top, and you usually have to scroll back to get to the page you're looking for."

"This is too unreliable..." Jing Ke couldn't help but mutter.

"There's nothing we can do. This is the general trend." Shang Siyu moved his fingers and suddenly felt an urge to touch Jing Ke's head.

Fortunately, Shang Siyu had good self-control, and this thought only flashed through her mind. "It's almost half past nine now. Do you want to go to bed right away or read for a while?"

"Go to sleep. Maintaining a good schedule is good for your health. I must take good care of my body." Jing Ke put his mobile phone on the table beside him, got up and walked to the bed.

Jing Ke looked at Shang Siyu who was standing there. "Can I sleep on the right side? I remember you are used to sleeping a little further to the left."

"Of course." Shang Siyu walked over and placed the pillow across the middle of the bed on the sofa. "If you like to sleep on the left side, that's fine too. I don't have a habit of sleeping on one side."

Jing Ke made an OK gesture and said, "Then I'll sleep on the right side. It's up to the host to decide."

Seeing Jing Ke draw the curtains and prepare to lie down, Shang Siyu subconsciously glanced at the bed, and when he found that there was only a quilt on it, he suddenly realized something.

But Jing Ke moved too quickly. Before Shang Siyu could say anything, she had already laid down straight, covering herself with the quilt, leaving only her head exposed.

After a moment of hesitation, Shang Siyu chose to swallow what he was about to say.

The quilt is two meters long and can cover two people. It’s no big deal to just use one quilt.

Shang Siyu lifted the quilt and lay down. After turning off the main light, the only light in the room became the night light on the bedside.

"Good night." Jing Ke spoke with only his head exposed.

"Good night." Shang Siyu replied and chose to sleep on his back.

The act of sleeping was unfamiliar to Jing Ke, because as a conscious being, she didn't need to sleep. When she wasn't physically present, as long as she didn't consume any extra energy, it was rest for Jing Ke.

Close your eyes, empty your mind, relax your body a little, and then gradually let yourself fall asleep.

Jing Ke followed every step rigorously, but after closing her eyes for ten minutes, she still didn't feel sleepy.

There's no way. It's my first time being a human being, and I'm still a little uncomfortable.

About half an hour later, Jing Ke finally found the feeling and slowly fell asleep.

-

Shangsi fish have a good biological clock. If they go to bed before ten o'clock, they will wake up around seven in the morning.

With Jing Ke in bed, Shang Siyu still maintained this schedule. Shortly after the sun rose, he opened his eyes in a daze.

I slept so comfortably, without any messy dreams, and the pillow in my arms felt as good as ever.

Wait, a pillow? Didn’t I put the pillow on the sofa before going to bed?

When did I get the pillow back? Or was it that what I was holding wasn't a pillow at all?

Realizing that something was wrong, Shang Siyu suddenly opened her eyes wide. With the dim light coming through the curtains, she could clearly see what she was holding in her arms.

It wasn't his pillow at all, but Jing Ke, the living, breathing creature with warmth!

Jing Ke's head rested on his shoulder, and most of his body was wrapped in the quilt as before going to bed, with only his furry head exposed.

Judging from her slightly frizzy chestnut hair, Jing Ke's sleeping posture was probably nothing like her sleeping posture before.

Shang Siyu slowed down his breathing, slowly removed his hands from Jing Ke, and then moved his body back inch by inch, trying to cover up the traces that he was using Jing Ke as a pillow.

Jing Ke was originally sleeping on Shang Siyu's shoulder. When Shang Siyu moved his body backward, her head, which had lost its support, also moved, from leaning on the shoulder to her face against the pillow.

For most people, nine hours of sleep is enough. After the sleep needs are met, some small noises are enough to wake people up.

There was a huge difference between a warm body and a cold pillow. After noticing the difference, Jing Ke's crow-feather eyelashes trembled slightly, and she slowly opened her eyes.

"Shang Siyu." Jing Ke accurately pronounced the figure reflected in the amber eyes, and his eyes gradually became clear. "Is it time to get up?"

"Yes, yes, it's time to get up." Shang Siyu pulled the quilt to cover up, "It should be seven o'clock now."

"Seven o'clock." Jing Ke repeated the time, then sat up nimbly by supporting himself on the bed with one hand.

"Can you lend me another set of clothes? Yesterday's clothes haven't been washed yet." Jing Ke asked, turning sideways to look at Shang Siyu.

The pajamas had only three buttons fastened, but with Jing Ke sleeping freely, only two buttons remained in place, and the corners and collar were wrinkled and turned outward to varying degrees.

Shang Siyu looked from bottom to top, and the beautiful scenery fell into her eyes.

After realizing that his behavior was inappropriate, Shang Siyu quickly looked away.

"Of course, we have similar body shapes. You can just go to the closet and choose whatever you want to wear." Shang Siyu lay on the bed, staring straight at the ceiling.

"Can I choose all the clothes in the closet?" Jing Ke asked again uncertainly.

"Yes, both are fine." Shang Siyu said without looking away, trying to forget what he had just seen.

But sometimes, the more you try to forget something, the more you remember it. Just like the monkeys in the Himalayas, they only deepen the impression in their minds over and over again until they can no longer forget it.

Jing Ke didn't notice Shang Siyu's strangeness. He walked barefoot on the gray carpet, walked around the bed for a long time, and came to the wardrobe.

Since she could choose whatever she wanted, Jing Ke followed her own preferences and chose a set that Shang Siyu liked the most.

According to the common sense Jing Ke has learned, there is no need to be too shy between people of the same sex.

So after Jing Ke chose her clothes, she unbuttoned the last two buttons of her pajamas and started changing her clothes in front of the wardrobe.

After hearing the rustling sound of changing clothes, Shang Siyu's body was one step faster than his brain, and he subconsciously looked towards the source of the sound.

Fortunately, Jing Ke had his back to Shang Siyu, so she only saw Jing Ke's fair back, his butterfly bones that seemed to be about to flap their wings, and the dimples on his waist that were revealed as he was getting dressed.

She has a well-marked figure, more perfect than many of the specimens she had seen in college.

Shang Siyu was stunned. It was not until Jing Ke put on his pants and long sleeves that she realized what was happening and retracted her gaze to look at the ceiling again.

"Shang Siyu, which set of clothes are you going to wear today? Let me help you get it out." Jing Ke turned around and asked after putting on his clothes.

"Me? I'm fine with anything. Just pick one for me." Shang Siyu said dryly.

She was clearly looking at the white ceiling, but why was Jing Ke's perfect back and the dimples on her waist that she wanted to touch still emerging in her mind?

Am I a lecher? No way?

-

According to yesterday's plan, after having dinner at a restaurant outside the community, Shang Siyu took Jing Ke to a nearby shopping mall to buy some new clothes and necessary daily necessities for her.

Jing Ke had no requirements on the price range of the clothes she wore. As long as Shang Siyu chose them, she would nod in approval.

Even when Shang Siyu deliberately picked up a floral shirt and asked Jing Ke with a smile what she thought of it, Jing Ke's answer did not change.

Jing Ke still nodded, "It looks good, I can buy one."

"Are you sure?" Shang Siyu took a look at the shirt that was as colorful as the floral quilts of the older generation, and his head couldn't help but pounding.

Shang Siyu asked sincerely: "If you wear this, how would you match it with your clothes?"

"Black clothes?" Jing Ke thought for a moment and gave the answer. "Black clothes are very versatile, so it should be OK with this shirt, right?"

Very good, black goes with everything, there is nothing wrong with this statement.

"Okay, let's buy it." Shang Siyu decided to indulge Jing Ke's choice. After all, she had a perfect figure. She would look good in a sack and could probably hold up a floral shirt.

Jing Ke made an OK gesture, took two pieces and asked the clerk to pack them up, and handed over her bank card.

"Why did you buy two of the same thing?" Shang Siyu asked in confusion, "Are you planning on washing them?"

"You don't have clothes of this style in your closet. Let's take two pieces, one for each of us." Jing Ke said, smiling at Shang Siyu, "You lend me clothes, and I give you clothes. Friendly exchanges can make friendships last longer."

Shang Siyu's eyelids twitched, and he suddenly felt a little regretful for his indulgence just now.

But my figure seems to be okay, so I should be able to hold up the floral shirt, right?

Before Shang Siyu could prepare himself mentally, a familiar yet annoying voice came from inside.

"Isn't this classmate Shang? What a coincidence! I didn't expect to meet you when I was inspecting the industry. We are really destined to meet." Xue Fan appeared at the door of the store at some point and looked at Shang Siyu with a smile.

Xue Fan was wearing a suit and sunglasses to look cool. Two people dressed as assistants followed behind him, one holding a notebook and the other holding a camera. They looked quite serious.
