When Liu Hao's father and stepmother heard the voice, their faces turned pale as paper, completely bloodless.
Their bodies seemed to be controlled by an invisible force. They trembled violently and involuntarily, their legs became weak and they could hardly stand.
His eyes were filled with fear and panic, as if he had seen the most terrifying scene in the world.
They opened their eyes wide and stared at the front, only to see a figure covered in blood with red eyes looming in the wind. The horrifying appearance was like a demon returning from hell, emitting a suffocating breath of despair.
The two men could no longer bear the huge fear and fell to their knees with a plop. Their bodies collapsed to the ground and they kept shaking.
Liu Hao's father was so frightened that he became incontinent on the spot. Urine flowed down his trouser legs, emitting a pungent smell.
But he no longer cared about these things. He just knelt down and kowtowed desperately, his forehead hitting the ground heavily with a dull sound, and he kept muttering: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I was wrong, please forgive me..."
The voice was full of despair and pleading, as if at this moment he truly felt the fear of death and the condemnation of his conscience.
Liu Hao stood aside, his eyes fixed on the illusory figure in the sky. His eyes were full of tears, but also revealed a hint of hope and determination.
He shouted with all his strength: "Mom, Mom, I am Haohao. I have grown up, and I finally found you..."
Liu Hao's voice echoed in the strong wind, carrying with it endless longing and attachment, as if it was a bridge across time and space, trying to connect the mother and son who had been separated by life and death for many years.
When Liu Hao's mother Xia Rou heard her son's voice, a trace of surprise flashed across her eyes, which were originally full of resentment.
She slowly turned her head and looked straight at Liu Hao, as if she was afraid of scaring her son. She became the gentle person in Liu Hao's memory.
Xia Rou's eyes seemed to have traveled through the long river of time, with a hint of disbelief and endless maternal love: "My son, my Haohao, is it you? Is it really you?"
Her voice was soft and trembling, as if she was afraid that all this was just an illusory dream that would shatter at the slightest touch.
Liu Hao nodded desperately, tears pouring out like a flood: "Mom, it's me, Haohao. I miss you so much. I've been looking for you for so many years..."
His voice was choked, and every word seemed to be squeezed out from the deepest part of his heart, filled with longing for his mother and the pain he had suffered over the years.
Xia Rou's figure swayed slightly in the strong wind, and her eyes revealed a hint of struggle and reluctance.
But Xia Rou saw her so-called husband and that woman out of the corner of her eye. The burning hatred in her eyes was like the fire of purgatory, almost devouring these two evil people. "How could they do this to me... I died such a miserable death..."
The shrill voice seemed particularly sad amid the howling wind, like the cries of a wronged soul coming from an endless abyss. Every word was full of tears and hatred, making the air between heaven and earth seem to solidify, filled with suffocating grief and resentment.
Liu Hao stood aside, watching his mother's painful and resentful appearance. He felt as if his heart was deeply pierced by countless fine steel needles. The pain spread to every nerve ending in his body, making him almost unable to breathe.
His fists were clenched tightly, his nails dug deep into his palms, oozing blood, but he was completely unaware.
At this moment, Jiang Suisui's calm and childish voice of advice echoed in his ears, like a clear bell ringing, dispelling some of the chaos and pain in his heart.
He remembered the look on Jiang Suisui's face when she warned him not to let his mother be imprisoned by the shackles of hatred, as that would cause her to fall into hell forever, unable to escape from the endless cycle of pain, and suffer torture and torment.
Liu Hao closed his eyes tightly and gritted his teeth, suppressing the grief that surged like a raging tide in his heart. He used all his strength and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Mom, the young master said that if you don't do evil, fulfill your wishes, and resolve the cause and effect, you can directly enter the cycle of reincarnation and start a new life."
His voice trembled slightly with pain, but it was filled with unquestionable determination. "Mom, don't do this for someone who's not worthy. Think about me, Mom. I want you to be happy. I don't want these two scumbags to ruin you."
Liu Hao's voice echoed for a long time in the windswept wilderness, as if to imprint this admonition deeply into the depths of his mother's soul.
"Mom, I don't want you to linger in pain. Let it go, Mom, I will seek justice for you..."
Tears burst out of Liu Hao's eyes and flowed freely down his cheeks. Those hot tears were filled with deep love for his mother, the venting of past pain and a firm commitment to the future.
His body was trembling slightly, like a sapling standing alone in the strong wind, which was about to fall but still stood stubbornly.
Xia Rou stared at her son quietly, listening to his words full of affection and pain. The raging resentment in her eyes gradually faded away, like a lake brushed by a spring breeze, slowly returning to calm.
A trace of relief after being liberated spread quietly in her eyes like the dawn light, dispelling the haze that had shrouded her heart for a long time.
She sighed softly, and the sigh seemed to be as if she had put down a heavy burden, and also as if she was letting go of past sufferings.
The heavy burden that had accumulated in my heart for many years disappeared at this moment with that sigh: "Haohao, my child, you have grown up..."
The voice was gentle and loving, like the warmest spring breeze, soothing Liu Hao's wounded heart.
