Chapter 86: Grade 1, Class 1

The sunlight shines through the mottled leaves, casting fine shadows on the corridor of the classroom.

Gu Shi sent Jiang Suisui to the door of Class 1, Grade 1 classroom, leaned down slightly, looked at her with concern, and whispered, "The get out of class is over at noon. Don't run around. Wait for me in the classroom. I will pick you up to have lunch together. Remember?" His eyes were full of tenderness and worry.

Jiang Suisui nodded obediently, "Don't worry, brother."

Gu Shi straightened up and instantly changed into the demeanor of a little adult. He turned to Teacher Wang and said politely but solemnly, "Teacher Wang, you have worked hard. I am in Class 1, Grade 6. My name is Gu Shi. If my sister has any problems at school, you can always come to me."

Teacher Wang had a smile on his face. Of course, he knew the student who had just been promoted to sixth grade and was the top student in the grade.

"Don't worry, Gu Shi, the teacher will definitely take good care of Jiang Suisui. You should go back to class quickly and don't be late." Teacher Wang's voice was gentle and kind.

Gu Shi then looked at Jiang Suisui deeply again, then slowly moved his feet, looking back every few steps, and walked away from the door of the first grade class one classroom step by step.

As early as when Jiang Suisui and the other two stood at the door, many students in the classroom were like a group of curious little sparrows, chirping and whispering, looking out from time to time, their little heads popping up one after another, their eyes flashing with curiosity.

Most of the students in Shenghua's first-grade class are from the same kindergarten and are familiar with each other.

Now that there is suddenly a new classmate as beautiful and lovely as Jiang Suisui, they are all excited as if they have discovered a new continent. They curiously poke their heads around, wanting to get a clear look at Jiang Suisui.

There was a little boy who was particularly eye-catching. He was wearing the same burgundy school uniform as Gu Shi. At this moment, he was staring at the classroom door, and his little nose was humming from time to time.

Teacher Wang smiled kindly and gently took Jiang Suisui's little hand, which was as delicate as a lotus root, and walked her into the classroom slowly and steadily.

In an instant, the originally noisy classroom seemed to be cast a silencing spell, and it became so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.

Pairs of bright and curious little eyes all looked towards the door, curiosity flashing in their eyes.

"Hello, students!" Teacher Wang's clear and pleasant voice is like a clear spring in the mountains, flowing and echoing happily in every corner of the classroom.

"Classmates, we have met yesterday. I am your homeroom teacher, Teacher Wang. From now on, we will study and grow together, okay?" The voice was full of expectation and encouragement.

Under the podium, a group of innocent and extremely cute little kids answered in unison in their childish voices that were so tender that they could squeeze water out of them: "Hello, Teacher Wang!" The voices were full of childish innocence and vitality, which made people feel happy.

"Classmates, today I want to introduce a new student to you." Teacher Wang said as he gently pulled Jiang Suisui in front of him. "This is the last member of our class, Jiang Suisui. Let's give her the warmest applause to welcome her to join us!

"Student Jiang Suisui, would you like to come up to the stage and introduce yourself to everyone?" Teacher Wang leaned over slightly, looked at Jiang Suisui with gentle eyes, and asked softly.

Zhou's mother was worried that the little girl would feel uncomfortable on her first day of school, so she specially picked out a light pink sports suit for Jiang Suisui. The suit made Jiang Suisui look even more pink and cute.

Jiang Suisui still had two playful buns on her head, which swayed gently as she walked, like two happily jumping little rabbits.

Jiang Suisui inherited the excellent genes of her parents. She has skin as white as snow and delicate features, just like a little princess from a fairy tale.

Jiang Suisui stood at the podium, her large purple eyes surveying the rows of adorable little kids below, secretly feeling relieved: At least this wasn't kindergarten anymore; she didn't have to worry about any crying kids. Not crying = angel.

Jiang Suisui stood on the podium and said, "Hello, classmates. My name is Jiang Suisui, and I mean safe and sound. I am 6 years old this year and I am very happy to be your classmate."

The dimples on Jiang Suisui's face became more and more obvious, and her smile was as warm and bright as the sun, instantly dispelling the slight restraint brought by the unfamiliarity and making the atmosphere of the whole classroom more relaxed and pleasant.

The children in the audience immediately burst into warm and sincere applause.

Jiang Suisui stood on the podium, her eyes inadvertently sweeping across the audience. She first noticed a little boy who was extremely cocky and kept humming at her. He looked a little familiar, but not very familiar.

But her eyes seemed to be attracted by a mysterious magnet and were fixed on a little boy in the corner of the last row.

The little boy sat there quietly like a forgotten island, forming a sharp and strong contrast with the lively, noisy and vibrant atmosphere around him.

The entire classroom was filled with uniform burgundy school uniforms; only he and Jiang Suisui were wearing their own clothes.

Jiang Suisui looked carefully and saw that he was also wearing a school uniform, but he seemed to be wearing a white shirt underneath the uniform. The color of the shirt was dull and old, as if it had been covered in dust for a long time.

His hair was like dry grass blown by the wind, scattered in front of his forehead in a messy manner.

His face was so pale that it was bloodless, like a thin piece of white paper, fragile and weak.

Only those eyes, empty and lifeless yet revealing a chilling darkness, as if hiding endless sadness and secrets, stared straight at Jiang Suisui.

Teacher Wang keenly caught Jiang Suisui's gaze and walked forward with light steps.

She bent down slightly, with a smile as warm as the spring breeze on her face, and asked softly, "Jiang Suisui, look around, where do you want to sit?"

As soon as the words fell, many enthusiastic children immediately stood up, raised their hands high, and shouted eagerly: "Sui Sui, come and sit with me!"

Those little faces full of expectation are like flowers blooming in spring, vying with each other for beauty, all hoping to sit at the same table with this new classmate.

Teacher Wang followed Jiang Suisui's gaze and looked towards the corner in confusion.

There was only a green trash can in the corner, and the surrounding area was empty.

Teacher Wang couldn't help but frowned slightly, thinking to himself: Why is this child staring at the corner where the trash can is?

Then she reminded, "Sui Sui, look, there are a lot of empty seats in our class now. It's just that the teacher hasn't arranged other children to sit in that corner, and there is a trash can temporarily placed there, which may be a little inconvenient. How about you look for another seat?" Her tone was still gentle and kind, but her eyes revealed a hint of confusion.
