Chapter 215 The Last True Dragon

In the thick fog, Bai Hao moved forward at a moderate pace. Although there were quite a few souls separated from their bodies around him, none of them dared to come up and cause him trouble. In fact, they had already avoided him. Perhaps they sensed the aura of solar lightning on Bai Hao's body and were instinctively afraid to approach.

Bai Hao had only walked four or five miles, but the fog around him was getting thicker and thicker. He could no longer see the location of anyone else, only know the general direction, and could not even sense their presence.

The fog was filled with chaotic power, severely interfering with his senses, which was why he had to come out and investigate the situation himself. With the situation unclear, both waiting to die and actively investigating carried inherent risks. Bai Hao didn't think either option was better or worse; he simply chose the latter.

"It seems there's nothing wrong. I must have been overthinking it," Bai Hao muttered to himself. Just as he was about to turn and leave, he suddenly heard footsteps coming from directly in front of him.

A figure slowly emerged from the thick fog ahead. A man appeared before Bai Hao, dressed in white, expressionless, with a long spear behind him, his demeanor serene.

"You are..." Bai Hao's eyes narrowed slightly when he saw the man's face clearly.

If he remembered correctly, he should have seen this person before, because he still had an impression of the man in his mind, but he couldn't remember where he had seen him for the time being.

"Long time no see. It seems you still remember me. I was once the gatekeeper of the White Dragon Venerable's ruins." The man's calm tone brought Bai Hao back to reality.

Bai Hao finally remembered who he was. He had once stood guard at the mountain gate for Venerable Bai Long in the ruins, and single-handedly intimidated Su Yuewan and Ning Wan's people.

"I didn't expect you to be here. You must be a member of the True Dragon Clan, just like Venerable White Dragon. But your True Dragon Clan has already perished. Are you here to seek revenge?" This time, Bai Hao drew out Qianye from behind him, held it in his hand, and quietly looked at the man.

This man had indeed greatly shocked them and made them wary.

But that was all in the past.

Now, even Venerable White Dragon and the few remaining True Dragons of the True Dragon Clan have been defeated by Bai Hao. Only the man remains, posing no threat.

"My name is Long Shi. I was once an envoy under the White Dragon Venerable, and now I am the last of the True Dragon Clan. But as long as I live, the True Dragon Clan will not be extinct. And today, I have indeed come to seek revenge on you." Long Shi's words were not angry, as if he were simply stating something that had nothing to do with him.

He slowly brought the spear that had been behind him to the ground in front of him; it was the spear that had once stood between him and the stone, and now he had brought it back.

“I never expected that you would be able to defeat the White Dragon Venerable, and I never expected that you would come here and wipe out the last bloodline of our True Dragon Clan. Now you are my blood enemy.”

"You brought this all on yourselves. If you hadn't gone to the Divine Radiance Continent, things wouldn't have turned out this way... But there's no use saying all this now. Let's settle it with a fight." Bai Hao didn't want to say anything more.

Now that Long Shi has found him, there is no choice but to pay with blood.

The True Dragon Clan is the same to him, and he is the same to the True Dragon Clan.

"Just what I want."

Long Shi suddenly raised his eyes, stomped forward with his foot, and struck out with lightning speed with his spear. The spear tip, carrying a sharp, cold light, pierced towards Bai Hao's brow!

As the spear tip rapidly magnified in his pupils, Bai Hao gripped Qianye in his hand, flicked the blade, and accurately blocked the incoming spear with the slender blade.

"bite!"

With a crisp sound of metal clashing, a fierce energy surge suddenly erupted outwards, clearing away the mist surrounding the two individuals.

The two figures immediately clashed closely. Long Shi's spear was sharp and elusive, its daggers and shadows invisible. Each thrust was like a venomous snake, striking Bai Hao from a tricky direction, leaving behind tiny spatial cracks wherever the spear tip passed.

Compared to the spear, Bai Hao's Thousand Leaf Sword was clearly at a disadvantage, and he could only passively defend each time. However, thanks to his formidable strength, he did not allow Long Shi to gain any advantage.

Instead, after Bai Hao forcefully deflected Long Shi's spear with a sword strike, he clenched his left palm, and golden solar lightning quickly condensed into a huge lightning spear in his palm. He then hurled it out, and it shot towards Long Shi with a fierce gust of wind!

"Solar Lightning?!"

Seeing Bai Hao's golden lightning spear, Long Shi's eyes flashed with surprise. However, the fierce attack coming his way didn't allow him to think too much. He gripped the spear with both hands, flicked the tip, and struck the lightning spear hard, shattering it.

The scattered solar lightning traveled back along the spear, and the tingling sensation made Long Shi's face darken.

The next moment, Bai Hao appeared directly in front of him, wielding the Thousand Leaf Sword with a simple swing. Yet, in that single swing, he unleashed the most powerful sword strike in the world, the boundless sword energy surging in from all sides like a tidal wave, completely engulfing Long Shi, leaving him utterly defenseless.

"boom!"

With a muffled thud, Long Shi suffered an unprecedented blow, flying backward and crashing into the ground, creating a large crater. He coughed up a mouthful of blood, and the spear in his hand broke in two, sticking out of the ground beside him.

"Back in the ruins, you blocked our path with a single sword strike; now it's my turn." Bai Hao landed expressionlessly in front of Long Shi, his tone indifferent.

Long Shi's face turned deathly pale. He was about to speak when he coughed up a mouthful of blood. After a long while, he said with a self-deprecating laugh, "I didn't expect you to be so strong. It seems that I really overestimated myself this time."

He was already very strong, but Bai Hao was even stronger.

If Long Shi had helped when the White Dragon Venerable attacked the Falling Sea Sect, none of the subsequent troubles would have occurred.

Unfortunately, there is no if.

"I've won now. Do you have any last words?" Bai Hao pointed his sword at Long Shi, showing no intention of letting him go.

Since we have become enemies, we must eliminate any future troubles and not let the tiger return to the mountain, especially in such a dilapidated world. We must remove all threats and not leave any hidden dangers.

"I have no last words, but you say you won? I don't think so." With a bloody smile on his lips, Long Shi showed no fear in his eyes. Instead, he stared directly into Bai Hao's eyes with a hint of mockery.

"What do you mean?" Bai Hao frowned.

Just then, a loud noise came from behind Bai Hao, followed by a howling wind that stirred up the surrounding mist.

"That direction... is where Ouyang and the others are!"
