Chapter 252 The person sitting in the back of your car is not a human

It was exactly midnight when the passenger got on the bus. He was sitting in the back holding a black package. He was wearing a hoodie and had his head lowered. The shirt underneath seemed to be a little darker in color.

Lao Zhang forced himself not to look at the rearview mirror, but he couldn't control it and his eyes glanced over unconsciously.

"Why do I feel like I've become a different person since I got on the bus?"

Lao Zhang muttered to himself and opened the one-touch alarm page on his phone.

"Still going to Sophora japonica Lane?"

"kindness."

"Do you live there? There are only a few old people left in the ancient alleys of Jiujiang, and people of your age are rare."

"My home is not there." The passenger's tone was strange, each sentence was short and a little gloomy.

"From your accent, you must be from Jiujiang. Things are not peaceful at night these days, so don't run around." Lao Zhang really didn't want to go to that ghost alley again. He was worried that he would run into the last passenger there. "Where is your home? How about I take you home?"

"My home?" The passenger looked down at the black package on his knees and said nothing.

Seeing that the passenger didn't say anything, Lao Zhang felt embarrassed to continue asking questions, so he turned the car around and prepared to drive into the city.

After the taxi started, the atmosphere inside the car became even more depressing.

Sitting in the same car with the passengers in the back seat, Lao Zhang felt a sense of shortness of breath, so he opened the closed window again.

The night wind blew into the car, and Lao Zhang felt a little more comfortable. He looked up at the tourists in the rearview mirror.

No matter how bumpy the vehicle is, the passenger's upper body remains in the same position.

It seemed that this man was in a hurry to get something and didn't have time to change his shirt. The shirt was wrinkled and the top button was not fastened, leaving a faint circle of marks.

"He was violently assaulted before he got on the bus? That's not right! Why does it look like he was hanged?"

The driver became even more nervous, with half of his attention on the passengers. He was afraid that something might happen behind him if he wasn't paying attention.

Lao Zhang's pupils were twitching and his heart was beating fast. He was worried that he would be discovered if he kept peeking, and he was also afraid that the passenger behind him would do something crazy.

The car sped up. In the wilderness, the best solution he could think of was to drive faster and wait until he got to a crowded place where everything would be fine.

All the car windows were open, and the wind blew into the car. Lao Zhang kept paying attention to what was behind him.

The passenger sitting in the back seat remained motionless, but a corner of the black cloth package on his knees was blown open, and a small piece of cloth slid down, revealing the true appearance of the package.

Blood rushed to the brain and Lao Zhang's heart beat even faster.

Urn!

What that person came to the crematorium to get late at night turned out to be an urn!

My arms trembled unconsciously, and my little fingers shrank inward like a **, and a chilly feeling slowly crawled up along my spine.

The black cloth slipped off and the passengers didn't seem to notice.

The taxi was running very fast, and the other side of the black cloth was blown off by the night wind.

Now Lao Zhang could see more clearly. Wrapped in the black cloth was a black urn with a photo in the middle of the box.

The driver slowed down the car slightly and focused his attention on the rearview mirror. His eyes were fixed on the photo on the urn in the rearview mirror.

It's not very clear, but the chin and mouth shape seem to be somewhat similar to those of the passenger sitting in the car.

"He went to the crematorium in the middle of the night and took out his own urn?"

Lao Zhang didn't dare to think any further. His body was shaking. He controlled the steering wheel with one hand and groped around with the other hand, trying to secretly call the police.

But just when he touched the phone, he habitually glanced at the rearview mirror, and saw a pair of bloodshot eyes in the mirror looking at him!

The passenger who had been keeping his head down raised his head at some point. His face was exactly the same as the one in the photo on the urn, except that it had an abnormal grayish-white color.

Goose bumps appeared on his neck and Lao Zhang felt cold all over. Fortunately, his years of driving experience allowed him to control himself and avoid an accident.

The taxi continued to move forward and would enter the city in a few minutes, but Lao Zhang's condition was getting worse and worse.

The passenger in the back seat kept his eyes on the rearview mirror. Every time he looked up, he could see a pair of eyes staring at him from behind.

The night wind had completely blown off the black cloth, and the passenger sat motionless in the back, holding his own urn.

"What on earth does he want to do!"

There was no car in sight along the way, and Lao Zhang was extremely anxious. He gradually developed an illusion that he was running in the wrong direction. This was not the road to the city at all, but was heading towards a more desolate place.

"what to do?!"

He quietly called the police and sent a code word for help in the communication group, but distant water cannot quench immediate thirst, and none of these could give him the slightest sense of security.

Every time he looked up, Lao Zhang felt that the pair of eyes behind him were a little closer to him.

He gripped the steering wheel tightly. The temperature in the car seemed to be dropping continuously. His back felt numb. Although he was leaning against the backrest of the chair, he could not feel any softness.

“Buzz, buzz…”

The cell phone thrown next to him started vibrating. Someone called, but Lao Zhang didn't dare to answer it.

"Hello."

The passenger behind him suddenly made a sound, and Lao Zhang was frightened and shuddered. He took a second or two to speak: "What, what happened?"

"Someone called you."

After hearing what the passenger said, Lao Zhang looked to the side and found that the one-click alarm page had disappeared, and was replaced by a missed call.

The call was hung up soon after it was connected, as if the person on the other end of the phone also realized that something was wrong.

"Don't worry about it. You can't answer the phone while driving." Lao Zhang laughed dryly.

After saying that, he glanced at the screen of the mobile phone next to him, and a text message was sent.

"Stop the car now! Run down the road! The person sitting in the back of your car is not a human!"

The text message stayed on the screen for a few seconds. Lao Zhang saw it, and so did the passenger sitting in the back.

“These people are really good at talking bullshit.”

The driver picked up the phone and placed it next to the steering wheel. Just as he was about to say a few more words, he looked up at the rearview mirror and suddenly found that the passenger's face was pressed against the guardrail behind him!

The deathly gray face was blocked by the guardrail, and the passenger had a smile on his face that Lao Zhang could not understand.

"Don't deny it. You've actually thought about it in your heart." The hood of the sweatshirt slipped off, and the passenger's neck twisted a little bit. There was another face behind his head.

"Technically, he's human, but I'm not."

The lips moved, and the following words were spoken by the face behind the passenger's head.

Lao Zhang had forgotten how to react. His mind was blank, as if he had stepped on the brake and the accelerator at the same time.

The taxi drove several dozen meters before it stopped. He climbed out of the car, shouting, and ran forward.

The car door opened and the passenger came out. He had his back to Lao Zhang and his deformed face on the back of his head forced into an ugly smile.

"You can't run away. This body has been targeted by a madman. I need a new partner now."

The passenger had his back to Lao Zhang, and his body seemed to be pulled by an invisible force, causing him to chase after the car backwards.
