Chapter 305 Juro

Chapter 305 Juro

After a long time, a long howl of "Awoo" was heard from outside.

The two, who had been interrupted, looked up and glanced at each other again.

Lin Shiyuan scolded helplessly, "Shilang, don't shout like that."

A plaintive "woo-woo-woo" sound came from outside.

Lin Shiyuan twitched the corners of his lips, turned back to Yao Qingling's moist, red lips, and tried to "do something improper" again. Qingling raised her hand and blocked his lips, her voice soft.

"Alright, are you even letting me get off the bus?" She glared at him, then got up and straightened her disheveled clothes.

The man took a deep breath, glanced at the half-empty pot of cold tea remaining on the low table, picked it up, and drank it.

Then, he helped Qingling tidy her clothes.

Qingling pushed his hand away again: "I don't want you."

His hands are up to no good now. She had just tied her coat belt when he "accidentally" ripped it off. He was so clumsy that it might take until sunset to get her dressed.

Qingling told him to find something else to do: "Take everything into the cabin."

Lin Shiyuan obediently followed orders, picked up the food box, and went out with a stoop. But just as he was about to step out, he suddenly turned back and pecked Qingling on the cheek before turning away with a smile.

Yao Qingling's eyebrows and eyes are like a spring day after a light rain, moist and bright.

Lin Shiyuan had already tidied up the wooden house beforehand, and after such a long time, it was almost unchanged from the last time he returned.

The biggest change is that fewer people are coming, but there's an extra big white wolf.

Yao Qingling sat in a chair, and only now did she have time to examine the wolf closely.

The last time I found it, it was a wolf cub, but now it's a majestic wolf.

For a time, the Lin family suffered from a meat shortage. Besides the fact that the people disliked the Lin family and refused to sell to them, a large part of the reason was that the meat was being fed to wolves.

Wolves raised by humans grow much faster than in the wild.

Lin Shiyuan was very skilled at training wolves. Even though Yao Qingling never saw the wolf again, Lin Shiyuan gave it some of Qingling's used clothes to sniff, and the wolf remembered her scent. So even though it had been a long time since they last met, the wolf treated her as its master, didn't attack her, and even sat obediently on the ground.

“You can touch it,” Lin Shiyuan said.

Although Yao Qingling knew the wolf wouldn't bite her, it was still a wolf, and its sharp, wild eyes made her feel uneasy.

She tried to reach out her hand. The white wolf, curious, lowered its head to sniff, looked her over curiously, and then glanced at Lin Shiyuan, as if asking, "Is this my mistress?"

Lin Shiyuan said, "She named you. If you don't like it, you can decide for yourself."

The wolf looked at Yao Qingling and suddenly let out a long howl, as if to express its dissatisfaction.

Startled, Qingling withdrew her hand.

She glared at the man: "Why are you telling it this?"

"You dare say that you didn't name Shiro?"

On a dark and windy night, after whispering sweet nothings to Yao Qingling, Lin Shiyuan ran out of things to talk about and started talking about raising wolves.

Yao Qingling casually remarked, "Since the wolf was found, let's call it 'The Wolf Picked Up'."

Lin Shiyuan thought she was too casual, so he made some minor changes, and that's how she became the current "Shilang".

But later he discovered that it was a female wolf, so calling it Shiro didn't sound right.

Looking into Shilang's clear, emerald-green eyes, Yao Qingling felt a pang of guilt. "How about calling her Cuihua?"

"Awoo—"

I could tell that the wolf was cursing.

"Alright, alright, I also think this name doesn't do justice to your beauty. How about we call you..." Qingling stared at the white wolf's snow-white fur, then glanced at the pear tree in the distance, "How about Pear White?"

The pear blossoms are in full bloom, a white haze. A gust of wind blows, and a few petals fall down, so beautiful that one can't bear to look away.

The white wolf seemed quite pleased with its new name and chased after the pear blossoms that had flown away.

Yao Qingling smiled at Lin Shiyuan and raised her hand to him: "Shall we go out for a walk too?"

The man took her hand and carried the food box in his other hand as they went out the door.

When they arrived at the stream, Yao Qingling thought he would take out a fishing rod to fish, but instead he rolled up his trousers and went into the stream.

What are you doing?

The man hunched over, picked up a handy stone, and built a small puddle on the bank of the stream.

Qingling couldn't understand, so she just watched him pick things up.

Finally, the man picked up a stone and went ashore.

Qingling quickly handed over the soft cloth: "Quickly wipe it off."

The man took her cloth and handed her the stone with one hand: "Take it."

He dried his legs and feet, and Qingling examined the stone.

It's very smooth, and it even has beautiful patterns inside.

She turned to the man and smiled, "Are you afraid you won't be able to catch any fish, so you're trying to bribe me with this stone?"

Lin Shiyuan chuckled, "Just you wait and see."

He dug another pit, placed some stones at the bottom, and then gathered some wood to start a fire.

Qingling sat there and watched him work so busily.

The man said, "There are many waterways in the south, and there are many ways to fish. This one is called rock-stacking."

Yao Qingling glanced at the stone circle he had enclosed; there wasn't a single fish there.

She pursed her lips and said, "The fish in the north don't seem to listen to you southerners. They won't fall for it."

Lin Shiyuan curled his lips into a smile: "Just you wait."

He was very confident in his fishing skills.

But before that, he pulled Qingling into the woods.

Last time, Yao Qingling was still weak and couldn't be exposed to the wind, so she could only watch the hunters go hunting. Now, he personally told her to bend her bow and shoot the prey.

Rabbits and pheasants hiding in the woods were chased around by the white wolf. Yao Qingling got excited and chased after the wolf before Lin Shiyuan could even get there.

She ran very fast, and the smile never left her face.

It had been a very long time since she had run so freely, and it seemed to take her back to the southwest, to that happy childhood.

"Oh dear!" came a sudden exclamation.

Lin Shiyuan was drawing his bow to shoot a rabbit when he heard her exclamation and rushed over, only to find Yao Qingling had fallen into a puddle.

The puddle was covered with a thick layer of dead branches and fallen leaves, so thick that it was almost invisible unless you looked closely.

Fortunately, the puddle wasn't deep, only reaching Yao Qingling's knees, but she still got completely soaked after falling.

Leaves were smeared all over her face and hair, and there was mud everywhere. Yao Qingling had never been this disheveled, not even when she was in prison.

The white wolf circled the puddle, occasionally stretching its neck to sniff her, as if to say, "How stupid is this person? She can't even avoid a puddle."

"You're still looking!" Qingling was almost crying with anger.

Lin Shiyuan quickly carried Yao Qingling out, took off his clothes to wrap her up, then picked her up horizontally and carried her back to the wooden house.

Putting aside other things, in early spring, the weather is still chilly despite the change in temperature, and the snow in the mountains is just beginning to melt. If Yao Qingling runs and then gets chilled by cold water, she is very likely to get sick.

Back in the cabin, Lin Shiyuan stripped Yao Qingling naked without saying a word.

"You...you..." Qingling was both angry and ashamed.

Although the two were intimate, they had never been this open with each other, and she was now dirty and smelly.

Looking at her curvaceous body, Lin Shiyuan saw not the sticky leaves, but only the pure desire of a man looking at a woman.

He swallowed hard, but seeing her shivering from the cold, he abruptly looked away, grabbed his cloak, wrapped her up, and tucked her into the blankets.

"I'll go boil some water and wipe you down."

He ran out almost in a disheveled state.
