Chapter 100: Girl, please come this way

Zhao Ya pulled the quilt off of her body and threw it aside, then sat down on the edge of the bed. She was stunned for a moment, staring at the shoes in front of the bed and frowned.

Why do these shoes seem a little different from my own pair?

Zhao Ya curled her lips, put on her shoes and ran out the door.

There was no one else in the empty hall except Zhao Ya herself.

She slowly lifted her little feet and walked towards the palace door.

In front of the tall palace gate, a huge totem stood shining brightly. Zhao Ya narrowed her eyes.

"Why does this look so familiar?"

Zhao Ya placed her small hand on the palace door and pulled it back, causing the door to suddenly open.

Zhao Ya stretched out her little head and looked around. The two guards guarding the palace door were shocked when they saw the door was opened from the inside.

"How is that possible?"

The two men stared at Zhao Ya with their eyes wide open. Zhao Ya looked for a long time but didn't notice them. When she raised her head, she found that there were two figures slowly approaching her.

“I, I, I…”

Zhao Ya stared at the halberds in the hands of the two men and swallowed stiffly.

Oh my god, it feels really bad to have just come back from the gates of hell and then go back again.

Looking back, I have been encountering such dangerous things since leaving Yinglin, and I almost died every time.

Zhao Ya grinned and smiled foolishly at the two gatekeepers for a while.

"I was careless, really careless, I...I...I don't know why I'm here."

Zhao Ya explained to the two of them tremblingly, and when she met their cold eyes, she shuddered unconsciously.

It's over now. I'm afraid I'll die under this long spear again.

Why am I so miserable?

I really don't know why I am in this place. The moment before, I was in some weird place called Jinchuan.

Looking ahead, she felt like she was being stared at by a group of wild beasts. Those scarlet eyes looked so scary, as if they were thinking about how to eat her.

I fainted later and didn't know how I escaped the disaster.

"Who are you?"

"I am..."

Zhao Ya spoke incoherently for a long time.

The other guard looked helplessly at the guard who spoke.

"I say, why don't you have any sense? Who else could this be? Isn't this the woman the patriarch brought back the other day?"

The guard frowned, "Huh?"

"I told you not to ask, who could possibly open this palace door like that? You're so foolish not to even think of that."

The guard who was speaking secretly laughed at the one opposite him and called him an idiot.

He was so stupid that he didn't even bother to ask around. The clan leader brought back a woman that day. The clan leader's eyes were extremely scary, but he was nervous and concerned about that person, and even looked doting on her.

She has been placed in the clan leader's bedroom these days. Who could she be but the future clan leader's wife?

How stupid! I've explained it so clearly. If you still don't understand, there's nothing I can do. Maybe that fool is hopeless.

"Who is it?"

"Forget it. I don't want to talk to you. I don't know how there could be such a stupid person in my tribe. It's really embarrassing."

The guard held his forehead helplessly and smiled politely at Zhao Ya.

"Miss, I guess you just woke up and are not familiar with the affairs of the tribe. How about I take you around... What do you think?"

Zhao Ya stared at the guard who was speaking and smiled with her head tilted, feeling a little confused and embarrassed.

What the hell, why is this guy talking to her so politely?

"OK!"

"Okay, young lady, please come this way." The guard invited Zhao Ya to leave, then glanced back at the other, clueless guard. "You, guard this well!"
