Chapter 20 Backing Up Cheng Wang: If you're a boy, do you want my help? ...
Not wanting Cheng Wang to misunderstand, Song Qingran began to explain, her eyes showing a hint of weariness: "There should be surveillance in the hall..."
"How did you get your hands like this? Did she do this?"
Their words collided in the air. Song Qingran suddenly looked up and saw Cheng Wang slowly looking down at the wound on her hand. The anger between his brows was growing stronger, but his emotions were not directed at her.
She thought it would be the same as before.
Song Qingran felt her heart float up, lifted by a pair of soft, large hands, and all her negative emotions dissipated as a result.
After she found He Jinzhou, Guo Shanshan would always use such despicable methods to sow discord. No matter how she explained, he wouldn't listen. Even if she had evidence, he would still unconditionally believe Guo Shanshan, stand on her side, and accuse and insult her.
Later, her father would always subtly guide her mother...
What a clumsy tactic! Yet those around her always believed it. Just when Song Qingran thought everyone would fall for such tricks, Cheng Wang strangely appeared like a normal person.
He calmly pointed at the aunt and said, "Explain what just happened. If you can't explain, you don't need to come over tomorrow."
The aunt's face turned pale. She glanced at Shu Yaran, who was glaring at her, then looked in the direction of the surveillance camera. She lowered her head, gritted her teeth, and said tremblingly, "Yes, it was Madam who thought the young mistress had stolen the bracelet and tried to forcibly pull it out. During the struggle, Madam fell."
"You ungrateful wretch, always siding with outsiders! Believe me or not, I'll fire you!" Shu Yaran yelled, trying to push her aunt, but Cheng Wang pulled her away, causing her to fall to the ground again. She was both angry and aggrieved, continuing to wail and howl, but she didn't dare to confront him directly. She just kept crying and cursing, "You, you unfilial son! You're an ungrateful wretch too... Dad, aren't you going to do anything about this!"
A tap landed on her shoulder, and Cheng Wang whispered in Song Qingran's ear, "Go to your room and tidy up. We're going home." As soon as he said the word "home," her fingertips were gently pinched.
Urged on by his gaze, Song Qingran turned and left. As she walked to the corner, she couldn't help but look back one last time.
Cheng Wang squatted down in front of his mother without saying a word, picking up her bag that had fallen to the ground and rummaging through it.
Shu Yaran wiped away her tears and hurriedly tried to grab it, but Cheng Wang pushed her away with one hand. He emptied everything out of the bag and picked out a few valuable pieces of jewelry, which he held in his palm.
"What are you going to do with this? Give it to me now!"
Cheng Wang snorted coldly, thought for a moment, then took off the gemstone necklace from her neck, picked up the car keys without a word, and stormed out.
"Cheng Wang, you bastard, give it back to me right now!"
This was Shu Yaran's most cherished possession, a royal treasure she had spent 100 million to acquire. She refused to give it up no matter what and immediately got up to try and get it back.
The old man sighed behind him, his patriarchal authority radiating out: "Shu Yaran, if you don't want to die, get back here."
The old man's words carried considerable weight. She froze, no longer daring to move, her gaze fixed on the doorway, harboring resentment towards both Cheng Wang and Song Qingran.

Song Qingran sat in the passenger seat, and the car started with a beep, becoming the only moving light in the pitch-black night.
"Are you unhappy?" Song Qingran broke the silence. He rarely showed his emotions so openly. He didn't seem particularly sad, just a little restless and annoyed.
Cheng Wang glanced at the woman in the passenger seat, his cold and hard features softening slightly. "I'm fine. Next time, take good care of yourself."
Song Qingran touched her slightly burning wound and nodded gently. She wanted to ask something, but the man's fingertip hooked her fingertip.
Thinking the man wanted to hold her hand, she opened her hand and grasped his, but he placed something cold in her palm instead.
She clutched the jewelry in her palm, her eyes darting around, somewhat embarrassed.
"Consider it a gift. You can play with it, give it away, or even sell it. Grandpa wants them to attend our wedding. Don't worry, we'll send them abroad after the wedding. Don't listen to anything they say."
Song Qingran sensed that a lot of unpleasant things must have happened between Cheng Wang and his parents. He seemed to have no feelings for them at all. He only cared about his grandfather and was even willing to tolerate his parents because of his grandfather.
"Okay, I'll do whatever you say." This is good; away from her parents and away from conflict, Song Qingran is very satisfied.
The journey back was quite long. When the car stopped, Song Qingran was already asleep. She only opened her eyes groggily when she felt an itch on her arm.
In the dim light, she could only see the man's short hair. His shoulder swayed slightly as he leaned in, carefully applying medicine to her arm, which had already been disinfected and bandaged.
Something seemed to melt in her heart. She spread her fingers and gently rubbed the top of his head. The touch felt wonderful, and she unconsciously increased the pressure.
[That feels so good, it would feel even better if they massaged other areas.]
[I really want to have a good time in the car.]
Will she satisfy me?
A sudden thought popped into her head, and Song Qingran, in a panic, pulled out a few strands of the man's hair and pushed his head away.
Is he a teddy bear? He turns blue all the time, regardless of the occasion?
"What's wrong?" Cheng Wang frowned and subconsciously moved closer.
Song Qingran swallowed hard. Under the cold, white light, in the cramped space, she thought he was incredibly handsome. His eyelashes fluttered, and she couldn't resist the urge to kiss him, from the corner of his eye to the tip of his nose, then his lips, and finally his sensual Adam's appleā¦
She hurriedly opened the car door, got out, and placed her hand on her heart, but she couldn't stop the abnormal beating inside.
If it were just desire, she could accept it calmly; her body had not resisted Cheng Wang from the very beginning.
But the inexplicable thoughts that had just surfaced in her mind... exceeded her expectations and made her uneasy.
Cheng Wang caught up with her, following her at a leisurely pace. Both of them were in low spirits tonight, so the walk was surprisingly relaxing.
They had already reached the residential area and could have walked back together, but it was too dark and many of the streetlights were off. After walking for a while, Song Qingran stopped. Cheng Wang took her hand, and only then did she dare to continue.
Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, Song Qingran suddenly stopped.
"Cheng Wang, can I trust you?"
She took a deep breath, unable to control her nervousness, tilted her head back, and looked at him stubbornly, but forced herself to lose focus. His face was blurry in her vision.
Cheng Wang paused for a moment, then quickly smiled, cupped her face in his hands, and moved closer and closer until their noses touched, gently rubbing against each other.
"If you want, you can control everything about me."
[It's okay to die inside your body.]
Song Qingran slightly parted her lips, realizing with a start that she had stumbled upon a treasure trove. The treasure trove's doors had opened on their own, declaring that she was its master and that she could do whatever she pleased inside.
She was just an ordinary person, and she couldn't resist this overwhelming temptation.
Cheng wanted her, and at this moment, she wanted him too, so let's take a gamble.
She closed her eyes, and her heart, after churning, finally calmed down.
She won; she got everything.
If we lose, we'll go to hell together.
For the first time, Song Qingran revealed a sweet smile, just like before she turned eighteen, her eyes bright and clear.
She tilted her head and kissed the corner of his lips, saying happily, "Cheng Wang, come with me to see someone, okay?"
The man agreed, and her smile deepened.

Private hospital.
It rained all night last night, and the temperature dropped sharply when I woke up this morning.
Song Qingran wore a light blue sweater, paired with a dark blue skirt, and carried a small crossbody bag. Her temperament had changed a lot. She was still gentle, but she had gained a cheerful and playful air, which finally suited her age.
She got out of the car, and the fine drizzle on her face felt like the kisses and caresses of nature's spirits. It was quite comfortable, and she enjoyed it for a moment, until a gust of wind blew by, her eyes widened, she gritted her teeth, and shivered.
"I've told you you're not dressed warmly enough, but you wouldn't listen." Cheng Wang walked over, holding an umbrella, complaining with a hint of helplessness in his voice.
He lifted his trench coat, casually stretching out his long arms, and she rolled into his broad chest. The man's body temperature was exceptionally high, and she greedily inhaled, feeling the chill dissipate.
"It's not cold without wind." She stubbornly argued that it was the first time she was introducing him to her grandmother, so how could she dress so bulky and unattractive? Cheng Wang pinched the tip of her nose and said with a smile, "Hold me tight, it's not cold either."
Song Qingran bit his finger and snorted, but her hands obediently wrapped around his waist. Unconsciously, their skin touching had become a daily routine, as entangled as a couple deeply in love.
The hospital was crowded. Song Qingran led Cheng Wang straight to the inpatient department. When they arrived at the floor where her grandmother was staying, someone stopped them. It was her grandmother's attending physician, who had been hired from abroad by her father, Fu Xingyun, at a high salary.
"Ms. Song, you did not make an appointment in advance. According to the rules, you are not allowed to enter."
Song Qingran's eyes were cold: "What do I need an appointment for? I'm taking my husband to visit his own grandmother. Get out of my way."
"You should consult your father first." He didn't budge, his attitude was very firm.
Song Qingran stepped forward to argue, but Cheng Wang pulled her back, shook his head at her, and tapped his phone keypad. Less than three minutes later, two plainclothes bodyguards dragged the doctor away.
Other medical staff nearby gathered here. Some followed the doctor downstairs, while others made phone calls at the service desk. Before the calls even went through, Fu Xingyun's voice could be heard in the crowd.
Cheng Wang's voice was cold: "President Fu, Ranran and I came to visit Grandma, but a dog keeps blocking our way. What do you suggest we do?"
Fu Xingyun: "Son-in-law, you flatter me. Since this dog is so blind and doesn't even recognize its own family, why not give it a good beating to vent our anger?"
Cheng Wang: "I've already taught him a lesson; my father-in-law is the most reasonable one."
Fu Xingyun: "Son-in-law, please don't be offended. Are you free tonight? Let's have a casual meal together." Before he could finish speaking, only the dial tone remained on the other end of the phone, and Fu Xingyun's smile froze on his lips.
Upon hearing this, the surrounding medical staff quieted down, and someone took the initiative to lead Cheng Wang and Song Qingran to the ward. "Please put on your protective suits before going in, and it would be best if you came out within half an hour."
The two changed into protective suits and put on masks before entering the ward together. The ward was clean and tidy, and the equipment inside was top-notch. Grandma was also very clean, indicating that she was indeed being well cared for.
Seeing her grandmother who had doted on her since childhood, Song Qingran's eyes welled up with tears, which stained the sheets. She held her grandmother's cold hand, her heart aching terribly.
"Grandma, Ranran got married. Ranran brought him to see you. Can you wake up and come see us for a moment...?"
She was originally sitting in a chair, but as she cried, she lost her support, her knees buckled, and she fell to the ground. Cheng Wang reacted quickly and caught her, holding her in his arms, his large hand holding her small hand, and together they held their grandmother's hand.
"Grandma, I'm Ranran's husband. Our first meeting was rushed. Please get well soon so we can witness our marriage and the birth of our child together. Ranran really misses you so much..."
Song Qingran turned around with her eyes still misty with tears in them. She hadn't expected Cheng Wang to say those words. For a moment, it felt as if her soul had collided with the person embracing her from behind.
The man gently wiped away her tears and helped her sit back in her chair. "Okay, stop crying. Grandma will be sad if she hears you crying. Talk to Grandma for a while."
Song Qingran sniffed and nodded, massaging her grandmother's arm while telling her some interesting news and stories. Cheng Wang went to the other side of the bed and also began massaging his grandmother's arm.
Half an hour passed in this way, and Song Qingran reluctantly said goodbye to her grandmother in Cheng Wang's arms.
Back in the car, she was still feeling depressed. When the man's hand touched the top of her head, she suddenly grabbed his hand tightly, wanting to absorb the warmth of his palm.
"Cheng Wang, can you hug me?" she asked nervously.
Cheng Wang unbuckled his seatbelt, placed his large hand on her damp cheek, and whispered, "Come here."
Song Qingran wiped away her tears, turned sideways, and slowly approached him.
Cheng Wang lowered his head and placed a kiss on her forehead. She subconsciously closed her eyes, but when he grabbed her waist and carried her to the driver's seat, she opened her eyes, her eyelashes trembling.
Song Qingran felt uncomfortable in the position. She sat on his lap with her legs apart, and he trapped her between him and the steering wheel, unable to move forward or backward. She adjusted her position and felt a burning heat, so she dared not move.
She tentatively wrapped her arms around his neck, slowly burying her head in his neck, her body completely relaxed in his embrace, her heartbeats gradually finding their rhythm through their clothes.
Song Qingran always felt that Cheng Wang smelled very good. It was a warm fragrance that she couldn't quite smell, and it was very pleasant. It also calmed her down. She liked it very much and savored his scent with each deep and shallow breath.
Cheng Wang had long arms and held her slender waist tightly. They embraced like that for a long time, both of them closing their eyes contentedly.
After a while, Song Qingran shifted her position, feeling conflicted. Ultimately, her emotions prevailed, making her forget her shame. She whispered in his ear, "Are you feeling unwell? Do you want me to help you?"
The woman's voice was as soft as a mosquito's buzz. Cheng Wang suddenly opened his eyes, grabbed her waist tightly with both hands, and pulled her in a little.
He buried his head in her neck, pressing his lips to her vein, "Aren't you afraid?"
Song Qingran stepped back, somewhat annoyed and embarrassed: "Fine, if you don't want to, then forget it."
"I want to, I really want to." Cheng Wang wouldn't let her leave. He grabbed her little hand, kissed it, and pulled it towards his own area, gently brushing it through the fabric.
A jolt of electricity ran through their hearts. Cheng Wang suppressed the gurgling sounds in his throat and turned on the radio. The music was fast-paced and loud, masking the initial encounter between the man and woman.
The seat slowly lowered, and Song Qingran's palms felt hot and burning.
Ding ding!
The phone kept ringing, disrupting the rhythm of the music.
Song Qingran got up and tried to answer the phone, but Cheng Wang held her waist and wouldn't let her leave. However, the phone call was really ruining the atmosphere, so she still answered the phone with her other hand.
Seeing that the caller ID showed He Jinzhou, she wasn't surprised and hung up immediately. A little while later, He Jinzhou sent several more messages from an unknown number.
[Ranran, please stop making a scene. I was wrong, I apologize. Please stop targeting the He family, okay?]
[If you want revenge on me, I accept it. I'll get a divorce, okay?]
[I also have feelings for you, but I have my difficulties regarding what happened back then...]
Song Qingran was looking at her phone for too long, which displeased Cheng Wang. He got up and kissed the corner of her lips, saying, "Wife, concentrate."
Her face flushed, and she wanted to put down her phone and focus on kissing Cheng Wang, but her phone rang again. This time, it was Guo Shanshan calling.
