Qin Qi was overjoyed. He exchanged a glance with Shu Hua, carefully dropped the withered wood in his hand, and ran to push open the door.
Without realizing it, she stepped on a wooden stick and almost tripped. In her anger, she picked it up.
Shu Hua walked faster than her, wiping the sweat from her forehead as she ran to help Xu Zi.
"Jinhuan? Jinhuan, how are you?" She frowned, her eyes filled with worry.
Hearing the familiar voice, Xu Zi opened her eyes weakly. Upon seeing her, two streams of tears suddenly slid down her disheveled face: "Sister Zihui..."
Shu Hua looked at her with heartache, but ignored the burly man behind her.
Seeing the burly man reach out his hands towards the two of them, Qin Qi exclaimed in alarm, "Zihui, watch out—!"
In the blink of an eye, she rushed forward, picked up the wooden stick in her hand with trembling hands, and swung it heavily at the burly man.
"Bang--"
The burly man swayed from her blow but did not fall. He slowly turned around, looked at Qin Qi, and said with a wicked smile, "Another little beauty has arrived. Today, I'll give you all a good time."

"Filthy language!" Qin Qi gritted her teeth and swung her stick at him, hitting his hand solidly. The burly man recoiled in pain.

The burly man seemed to have taken a superhuman pill; his somewhat listless, fat face suddenly perked up, and his body became much more agile than before.
"careful--!"
Seeing him suddenly pounce on Qin Qihu, Shu Hua cried out in surprise and threw the teapot next to her at the burly man.
"Bang--"
The teapot smashed onto his large head, drawing blood from the back of his skull. Then it rolled off the teapot, shattering into several pieces on the ground.
The burly man paused, reached up to touch the warm blood on his head, and sniffed it.
Taking this opportunity, Qin Qi walked around behind him along the courtyard, but unexpectedly he suddenly raised his head.
As if provoked, the burly man let out a lewd laugh and then suddenly pounced on her.
Shu Hua placed Xu Zi on a chair, then picked up another chair. In a flash, she rushed behind the burly man, and with all her might, lifted the chair and slammed it down on his head—
"Bang—!" The chair was smashed open and went right through his head!
The burly man's head was stained with blood, which trickled down his clothes. He swayed slightly, seemingly still having some strength left.
Shu Hua's bangs were matted together with sweat as she called out to Qin Xi, "Yi Zhi, hurry up!"
Almost instinctively, Qin Xi grabbed the wooden stick in her hand and smashed it down with all her might!
The burly man swayed a few times before finally collapsing to the ground with a dull thud.
—This stick she picked up by chance proved to be a great help to her.
Seeing that the danger had passed, Qin Xi felt as if all her strength had been drained away, and her legs went weak, causing her to kneel on the ground. She looked up at her friend and saw that she was also wiping away sweat, completely exhausted.
On the other hand, Xu Zi saw that she had already fallen asleep on the table, but her brows were still furrowed with unease.
The two looked at each other and smiled simultaneously.
Shu Hua joked, "This is truly the most embarrassing moment I've ever been. Luckily, no one saw it."
