Enjoy life to the fullest when you're successful; don't let your golden goblet stand empty before the moon.

Seeing her trembling, Princess Zhaoyang finally came to her senses, lowered her brows and looked at her, her tone cold: "Are you afraid?"

Anzhuoyi nodded subconsciously, then immediately realized what he meant and shook his head vigorously, saying, "No, I'm not afraid."

Princess Zhaoyang glanced indifferently at her trembling legs, rolled her eyes, and too lazy to refute her. She ordered, "If you want to climb up to my pedestal, you have to do things for me. You must not mess up today's matter."

Android nodded vigorously. "Don't smash it, otherwise..."

Stealing a glance at the person standing in front of her, Anzhuoyi shook her head in horror. Just thinking about it made her feel terrified.

The pastries were still being served plate after plate, but the maid beside Qin Xi only wanted to eat what was on her table.

The table wasn't particularly long or short, but constantly reaching for food was tiring. Xu Zi suggested switching places with her to save her from having to stretch her arms out so much, which was not only tiring but also rather impolite.

Looking into her bright, sparkling eyes, Qin Xi couldn't bring herself to refuse. So Xu Zi got her wish and sat down in her original seat, next to Shu Hua.

The little girl kept taking snacks with her hands and mouth, her eyes crinkling into crescents; she was truly enjoying herself. Qin Xi rested her chin on her hand, thinking with great interest.

Xu Zi finished the tea in the celadon teapot in front of him by himself, rubbed his stomach, and let out a satisfied burp. The next moment, he covered his mouth, his clear black and white eyes darting around like a startled fawn, afraid of being discovered.

The maidservant behind her was very perceptive and went to refill the pot of tea, kneeling obediently before the table: "This servant will pour tea for Miss."

Xu Zi nodded haphazardly.

Qin Qi watched clearly as the maid tilted the teapot, and steaming hot tea flowed out, filling the teacup without her noticing, until it spilled onto Xu Zi's skirt, causing her to gasp in surprise.

"Oh dear!" Xu Zi stood up, attracting the attention of others.

"This servant deserves to die! I've wet Miss's clothes! Please forgive me!" The maid knelt on the ground in a panic, kowtowing several times until her forehead was bruised and purple.

Xu Zi, being young, frowned and looked at her with pity, saying, "You should get up. It's not a big deal."

Hearing her say that, the maid felt as if she had been granted a pardon, and she bowed several times before daring to get up and wipe the water stains off the table.

Seeing that it was just a trivial matter, the women looked away and continued chatting. The commotion was not loud, so it did not disturb Princess Zhaoyang and Anzhuoyi behind them.

Qin Qi watched from the side, feeling that something was amiss. Before she could figure it out, Xu Zi's yawn interrupted her train of thought.

"Ah..." She covered her mouth, her eyelids drooping, and drowsiness was creeping in.

Shu Hua steadied her swaying body and asked with a frown, "What's wrong?"

Xu Zi smacked her lips and said in a soft, sweet voice, "Sister Zihui, I'm a little sleepy."

Shu Hua looked at Qin Xi, but asked Xu Zi, "Why are you suddenly sleepy?"

Qin Qi frowned, something flashing through her mind.

Seeing that Xu Zi was about to fall asleep with her eyes closed, Shu Hua quickly shook her.

"You can't sleep here no matter what." Seeing that she had half-opened her eyes, Shu Hua breathed a sigh of relief.

A biting wind blew by, and Xu Zi shivered, his weariness dissipating somewhat.
