Side Story: She is both graceful in solitude and vibrant in the human world. (Part 2)

If you like it, I'll give it to you.

What does this mean?

Completely bewildered, Cai Fengyin turned his gaze to the waiter. The waiter pointed strangely at the cloth in Cai Fengyin's hand, and Cai Fengyin looked in that direction.

He held onto Shu Hua's sleeve, preventing her from leaving. So she cut off the sleeve and gave it to him, saying, "If you like it, it's yours."

Cai Fengyin slapped his thigh, realizing that's what it meant!

A sudden wave of pain hit him, and Cai Fengyin winced. Seeing Shu Hua get up, he quickly tried to stand up as well, the red mark on his forehead still visible.

Seeing that Shu Hua was about to leave, he suddenly stood up, but unexpectedly, because he had been lying down for too long, his vision went black and he collapsed to the ground. In addition, the alcohol made him feel dizzy.

Shu Hua heard a muffled thud and instinctively turned around. She saw Cai Fengyin lying on the ground with his eyes almost closed, but he was still trying to keep them open, using his last bit of strength to grab her ankle.

She was holding on tightly, and although she wasn't in pain, the strength was so great that it didn't seem like it could be pried open.

"..."

Shu Hua felt like dying. She could cut off her sleeves just now, but what about now? She couldn't very well chop off her feet!

The only solution is... to cut off his hand!

Shu Hua's eyes hardened, startling the waiter so much that he shivered.

...

...

Cai Fengyin woke up the next day. Still dizzy, he stared at the unfamiliar bed curtains above him, somewhat disoriented.

Not only that, his hand also hurt a little.

Cai Fengyin subconsciously looked over and found that his hands were wrapped tightly with bandages, just like pig's trotters, and both hands were like that!

Cai Fengyin's face darkened. He got up from the bed, kicked the door open, and walked out.

There was no one in the courtyard. Cai Fengyin subconsciously turned around, wanting to change direction, only to see a magnified face standing in front of him, smiling sinisterly.

He was startled, and then he heard the person call his name, "Cai, Feng, Yin..."

Hmm? That voice sounds familiar. Cai Fengyin subconsciously looked over, and lo and behold, the face looked familiar too.

As mentioned before, most people in the playboy circle have some understanding of this circle. Even though Cai Fengyin is a playboy from Lingcheng and Shu Zhan is a playboy from the capital, it doesn't prevent them from knowing each other.

After all, Shu Zhan and Lu Huai, those two playboys, were quite famous among the younger generation. Moreover, before their families moved away, he had hung out with Shu Zhan and Lu Huai.

We do have some connection, to be honest.

However, Shu Zhan's gaze wasn't friendly, and Cai Fengyin hesitated, unsure whether he should greet him.

Shu Zhan didn't give him a chance to hesitate. She plopped down on a stool next to him, crossed her arms, and looked at him: "Aren't you going to explain?"

Explain? Explain what?

Cai Fengyin was a little confused.

"Why aren't the daffodils blooming here? What are you pretending for with your father? Hurry up and tell me!" Shu Zhan glared at him angrily, spewing out nonsense as if it were free.

Cai Fengyin was completely baffled. He sat down next to Shu Zhan and asked, somewhat puzzled, "No, Shu Zhan, what do you want me to explain? If you hadn't kidnapped me, I might have already gone with Consort Jing... By the way, where is my Consort Jing?"

When this was mentioned, he remembered it.

Yesterday, he was drinking at Yuxianzhai when he encountered Consort Jing, whom he had been longing for. He held onto her sleeve until she cut it off... And then? Why did he have no memory of it?

Mentioning this only makes Shu Zhan angrier.

Yesterday, he was on his way to find Xu Zi when he saw his younger sister squatting on a stretcher with a dark face, being carried down from the sedan chair.

Yes, you read that right, she was squatting on the stretcher. Because there was someone behind her holding her ankle tightly, she had no choice but to squat the whole way.

Seeing Shu Hua's expression, Shu Zhan didn't go looking for Xu Zi and followed her into the house. When he saw Cai Fengyin's face, his expression became somewhat complicated.

After some questioning, Shu Zhan finally understood that his sister had been harassed by this scoundrel. He tried to pry Cai Fengyin open, but found that although the scoundrel had fainted, his hands were still clenched tightly.

Left with no other option, he consulted a doctor who performed acupuncture on specific acupoints on Cai Fengyin, which saved Shu Hua.

Seeing her listless expression, Shuzhan didn't say anything and told her to go and rest. Turning his head, he saw Cai Fengyin fast asleep and even turned over by himself. Furious, he asked the doctor to bring bandages and wrapped both of his hands together.

Let him keep bothering him!

After hearing the whole story, Cai Fengyin was both amused and exasperated, but secretly chuckled to himself. Luckily, he instinctively grabbed Shu Hua, otherwise he might have been turned away.

But according to Shu Zhan, the girl from yesterday was his sister, not Consort Jing. Cai Fengyin knew that Shu Zhan had a sister, but they had never played together.

But……

He was puzzled. Logically speaking, Prefect Cheng had no reason to lie to him, so why would he tell him that it was Consort Jing?

He shared his confusion with Shuzhan, and after a conversation, the two finally understood the truth of the matter.

It turned out that Cai Fengyin had seen Consort Jing that day, but rather Shu Hua. However, when he went to ask Prefect Cheng, Consort Jing had just left the capital, and after Shu Hua. So, he naturally assumed that Cai Fengyin was referring to Consort Jing, and hurriedly told him without any attempt to hide anything.

Unexpectedly, this led to a huge misunderstanding.

Upon learning the truth, Cai Fengyin's mood instantly improved. He had been heartbroken to learn that Consort Jing had become a nun, but now his worries were gone. Because the girl he loved wasn't Consort Jing at all!

"Shuzhan...good brother..."
