"Stop laughing." She deliberately put on a stern face and said seriously, "You should think about what to do now."
Lu Huai gazed at her with a smile on his lips, then suddenly reached out and cupped her soft cheeks, lowering his head to peck her lips.
It was a very light, shallow kiss; she didn't even have time to react before it was over.
He pressed his forehead against hers. "I absolutely adore the way you look when you're deep in thought, and I can't help but want to interrupt you."
Out of the corner of her eye, Qin Xi noticed someone peeking at them, and her cheeks instantly turned rosy. Before she could say anything, she heard him say something in a low voice.
"This is really bad."
She touched her face; hmm, it was alright, the temperature was just right.
No! What is she thinking!
"I'm asking you a question!" Qin Qi frowned, pretending to be angry.
However, instead of becoming serious, Lu Huai kissed her again, just like before, saying, "You don't need to do anything, you just need to be happy."
“But that old woman…” Qin Qi subconsciously pointed in the direction they had just come from.
"Shh." He reached out and pressed his hand to her lips. "Don't worry about anything, just do as I say."

Since he's said that, he must have other plans.
Qin Xi smiled slightly and didn't ask any more questions.
Over the next half hour, she explored every nook and cranny of the streets. She ran and jumped whenever she wanted, and even clung to Lu Huai's back for a while, her silvery laughter constantly lingering in his ears, causing him to smile involuntarily.
