The incense smoke from beneath the tent diffuses its fragrance, and a smile before the mirror brings forth the joy of spring.

Ayu and Lele were guarding the door. When they heard the water stop inside, Lele was about to knock when Ayu stopped her. She looked up and saw a look on his face that said, "You don't understand."

Lele frowned; she was already in a bad mood, and being stopped by this fool only made her more annoyed. However, Ayu mysteriously pointed to the door, signaling her to listen.

Lu Huai's voice came from inside the room: "Are you alright?"

Then Qin Xi said, "Hmm... you can use a little more force."

Lele blushed instantly and murmured a few words. She really hadn't expected that her young lady, so dignified and proper, a model of a well-bred young lady, would be so...so vigorous in bed!

Ayu shrugged, pointed to the courtyard, and gestured for her to leave. Lele nodded, and the two tiptoed out, then went in different directions.

Inside the room, Lu Huai reached out and massaged Qin Qi's lower back. Qin Qi lay lazily in his arms, like a cat being stroked, and closed her eyes comfortably.

After a while, she suddenly seemed to remember something, opened her eyes and looked at him, "I have a question for you."

Lu Huai paused, already guessing what she was going to say next, and gave a soft "hmm".

If she asked him why he knew martial arts, he would tell her everything, only asking that she not be angry. However, Qin Xi didn't mention this, and instead brought up another matter.

She pursed her lips. "Is it Bao Bao who's colluding with the Fourth Prince from the inside?"

Lu Huai was taken aback. He clearly hadn't told her how she knew about this. Despite his doubts, he nodded firmly, "It was she who passed on your message to...

He frowned, his eyes filled with undisguised disgust, and he wouldn't even mention his name.

Qin Xi remained silent for a long while, then said, "It really is her..."

"You know?" Lu Huai stopped what he was doing and looked at her with a puzzled expression.

Qin Xi shook her head. "I only had some suspicions. She's been by my side since she was little, and I've always treated her like a younger sister. I just can't believe she would betray me."

Lu Huai: "Then why..."

Qin Xi narrowed her eyes and said, "But she has repeatedly brought trouble upon me. Whether it was the argument with Princess Zhaoyang last winter, or the assault case on South Street, when she asked me if I wanted to visit the Fourth Prince, and yesterday, she was guiding me directly or indirectly."

"When she was thirteen, she met a young man and fell in love with him. Even when she was still in the manor, she would often go to see him. However, since I married you, she has never gone to see him again, and she won't say anything when asked. Lele and I guessed that the two of them were not getting along, so we didn't mention it again."

Qin Qi chuckled, "I'm afraid she's been used by others ever since then."

"I see." Lu Huai nodded knowingly, then changed the subject, "You haven't eaten in so long, are you hungry?"

He had barely finished speaking when Qin Xi's stomach rumbled. She nodded. "I am a little hungry. What time is it?"

Lu Huai glanced at the sun. "It's around 3 PM."

Qin Qi frowned; no wonder he was hungry. It was almost late afternoon, and they hadn't eaten for nearly a day. Fortunately, Lu Huai had already arranged for food to be prepared, and they only needed to go there.

...

On the other side of the Minister's residence, Minister Lu, who was claiming illness and not attending court, was grinning from ear to ear.
