Why do you think that is?
After all, it did drive a prince mad.
Getting back to the main point, Qin Qi arrived at the villa. There were two soldiers guarding the entrance. Upon seeing her, the soldiers seemed to know her, sheathed their swords, and respectfully let her in.
"Halt." Seeing that Lele and Baobao were about to go in, one of the soldiers spoke up, "The orders are that only Miss Qin is allowed to enter. All other people must wait outside."
Qin Qi frowned. "Why? They are my personal maids, are they not allowed to come in either?"
“This…” Soldier A scratched his head and looked at Soldier B with difficulty.
Soldier B was clearly much more shrewd. He bowed obsequiously and said, "There's nothing we can do. These are orders from above. We can only follow orders. Please forgive us, Miss Qin."
Qin Xi pursed her lips. "What about my two maids? They can't just stand here forever."
“Yes, yes, there is a place.” Soldier B nodded and bowed, pointing to the tea stall across the street. “That’s where the master lets the girls sit and wait. The girls can drink tea under that stall.”
Qin Xi looked at Lele, who frowned worriedly and nodded hesitantly, "Miss, please go ahead. This servant and Bao Bao will wait outside."
"Yes, yes, you are right, Miss. We will protect your safety, Miss Qin. Please go in with peace of mind."
"Hmm." Qin Qi responded softly, noticing out of the corner of her eye that Bao Bao's face was a little pale. She frowned and asked, "What's wrong?"
Bao Bao smiled, her face pale. "It's nothing. Perhaps the sun is too strong; I feel a little dizzy."
"Don't worry, she might have caught heatstroke!" Seeing how weak she was, Lele quickly helped her to the shady tea stall, then said to Qin Xi, "Miss, go ahead, we'll wait here."
"Hmm." Qin Xi turned and went inside, Bao Bao's face growing even paler.

Inside the Minister's residence, A-Yu clasped his hands and bowed, "Young Master, the Young Madam did indeed go to Yu Xian Zhai."
Lu Huai stared blankly at the doorway, his fingers unconsciously tracing the stone table. After a long while, he rolled his eyes listlessly, as if he had just heard A Yu's words, and softly hummed in response.
"I understand, you may leave." He lowered his head and said.
Since the welcoming banquet, he had removed all the secret guards he had placed around Qin Qi, and stopped them from reporting on Qin Qi to him. He thought that as long as he was with Qin Qi, he could protect her. Removing the secret guards would also put her at ease.
But today, in the outskirts of Beijing, what was written on that note stirred up his thoughts.
It is said above that Qin Qi and the Fourth Prince have known each other since childhood, and are inseparable. If it weren't for his interference, the two would probably have been married long ago.
It just so happens that Qin Qi has been invited by the Fourth Prince to a secret rendezvous at the Imperial Immortal Abode today. If you don't believe it, you can come and find out for yourself.
His reason told him that this was fake, and that Qin Xi had feelings for him. But when he rushed back to the manor and saw her dressed up and looking exquisite, his heart ached.
So he asked her, "Is it absolutely necessary to go?"
She didn't dare look at him, and instead lied to him guiltily.
Lu Huai closed his eyes, his mind a jumble of thoughts, his heart aching as if pricked by needles.
He didn't want to send anyone to follow Qin Xi, but he couldn't control his jealousy. So he told A Yu to send someone to keep an eye on her and see what she was up to.
If, as she said, she was just buying some necessities for a young lady, then so be it. But if, as the note said, she went to Yu Xian Zhai, then he…
