Chapter 11: Little World
011 Little World
Was it a dream or an illusion? Looking at the gossip that appeared above his head again, Xiang Jiannan was very conscious. He didn't know where he was now. It seemed that he had come to a 5A-level scenic spot.
There is a stream rushing past before my eyes, carrying a tremendous force, rushing thousands of miles from east to west.
There were the sounds of monkeys crying and birds chirping in my ears, intermittently, and then they disappeared into the forest.
The scent of flowers and herbs enters your nose and goes straight down to your internal organs, refreshing your heart and leaving a lingering aftertaste.
There is also the speechless voice that keeps rolling in the throat, and finally one can only stare blankly with mouth open.
Where is this place? Could it be that I have traveled through time again? I can only stand here and cannot move. Xiang Jiannan was shocked.
He recognized the piece of gossip hovering in the air, but he couldn't connect it with the previous one.
The only lit part of the Bagua was the talisman. There seemed to be a bit of green gas, which was slowly gathering into the air as it rotated. The magnificent scenery in front of one's eyes would make people feel particularly unreal if they looked at it for a long time.
If I was not dreaming, then where was the old master now? Compared with the scenery in front of me, the environment of Ping'an Temple was simply not worth mentioning. The only thing that could compete with it was the small ditch in front of the temple. It was said to be connected to a big river, but in fact the water inlet had been blocked by silt long ago.
When the weather gets hot, a foul smell is emitted. After traveling to this world, Xiang Jiannan was forced by his master to clear the blockage several times. He didn't know what the old Taoist was thinking. He actually wanted to rely on his disciple alone to solve such a big project. After digging through the mud and sand several times, Xiang Jiannan began to learn to be lazy.
He was not a very hardworking person to begin with, and as he dug, his mind began to drift away as he was laughed at by others. If everyone else could endure it, why couldn't we? Under the scorching sun, he seemed to be the only fool in the entire Ping'an Town.
Put down the work and find a place to sleep. Anyway, the old Taoist priest will not come out to supervise you.
"Master, I am too weak to be exposed to the sun. Besides, our Ping An Temple cannot do without people."
I haven't seen any pilgrims for several days, so why are you so confident when you speak like that?
Boom.
Just as he recalled his master's face, Xiang Jiannan suddenly felt an earth-shaking sensation. When he found that his body could move freely, he saw that everything around him was slowly becoming blurred.
The Bagua suddenly accelerated in the air, and all the originally beautiful things slowly turned into a wisp of green gas, like a tablecloth pulled from a corner, and finally all were sucked in by the fast-moving Bagua.
At the same time, the surroundings fell into darkness.
When the familiar light stung his eyes again, Xiang Jiannan saw that there was an extra line in the center of the transparent Bagua.
The lines coiled around the edge of the central Yin-Yang fish pattern, like a stream of water, connecting end to end.
What a strange dream.
Just like before at Chen's house, it felt too unreal. Xiang Jiannan stood in the light just waiting to wake up.
According to the last process, I will probably still be lying on the couch when I open my eyes next time. The palm of the man in the straw raincoat was very powerful. If it weren't for my strong skull, I would definitely see a different picture.
How can the dead have the right to dream? Looking at the current world, I can only become a lonely soul lying in the dark.
"Evil beast, die quickly!"
Xiang Jiannan closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. Soon he heard a loud cry. Just as he was wondering if everything that had just happened was real, he felt a piercing pain in his fingers.
When he opened his eyes, he found that four fingers of his left hand were being stepped on firmly. From the looks of the shoes, he could tell that it was his master Gao Yuan who stepped on them.
With such big feet, you can tell he is wearing a Taoist robe as soon as you raise your eyes.
"Master, please move aside."
Having never expected to wake up in this way, Xiang Jiannan howled and simply pulled back his fingers.
There were two things he couldn't figure out for the time being, especially the second one, which made him feel scared just thinking about it.
He had been clear-headed just now, why did he suddenly come back to reality? And that pig monster, why hasn't the master subdued it yet?
Could it be that he was unconscious for a short time? "Disciple, you are still alive!"
Turning his head to look at Xiang Jiannan who had suddenly "resurrected", Gao Yuan's tone was full of surprise.
He always thought that his disciple was dying, but he never thought that he could survive.
The pig demon's palm strike made him cry. If he had entered the incense hall earlier, his heart would not have been bleeding.
The third-rank evil spirit's charged attack hit the top of my head. My disciple is so lucky!
"I, your apprentice, am not that weak."
After twitching his fingers a few times and seeing that Gao Yuan didn't move, Xiang Jiannan raised his head and looked at him with difficulty.
He felt that his fingers were about to break. When he found that he was still alive, the old master twisted the sole of his shoe a few times. He must have been uncomfortable standing there, and in his joy he wanted to find a new position.

"Don't move. I am thinking of a solution."
He raised his hand to take off the cloth bag on his body. Gao Yuan moved his body and looked at Xiang Jiannan at the same time. He was about to say something but stopped himself. His eyes rolled around under the lamp for a few times: "This pig demon is very powerful. Master, I only have one plan to use now."
"Don't tell me. I won't believe it even if you tell me."
Xiang Jiannan felt that Gao Yuan was trying to fool him again and he didn't dare to believe him anymore. When he looked out the door, he saw the pig demon standing in the yard grunting.
He looked extremely embarrassed and seemed to be injured. He would definitely attack in the next moment.
"Don't be afraid. It has just been hit by my master's magic weapon."
Seeing that Xiang Jiannan was only looking at the pig demon, Gao Yuan was not as nervous as him: "Once the evil demon appears, it will lose all its mind. As long as I use a little trick, the pig demon will be subdued."
"What do you need me to do?"
Xiang Jiannan thought what his master said made sense. He was not in a hurry to express his opinion this time. Although the battle situation was very different from what he had imagined, saving his life was the most important thing at the moment. He had no other way out, so at this moment, he should be brief.
"Hold it back and buy some time for me!"
Patting Xiang Jiannan on the shoulder, Gao Yuan grabbed the cloth bag and said, "Don't force it. Just delay it."
Come on, I need that ability to get up from the ground and walk outside. Xiang Jiannan felt that the future ahead was extremely bleak. His master had many shortcomings, the most fatal of which was that he thought too highly of his apprentice. Letting a person who had just returned from the brink of death fight immediately, this was a huge trust.
Fortunately, my head doesn’t hurt much, and there doesn’t seem to be any sequelae from the hit by the pig monster.
"Hurry up."
Standing at the door with his frail body, Xiang Jiannan trembled as he urged his master again. However, as soon as he turned around, he almost regretted it so much that his intestines turned green.
In just a few breaths, the master who said he had a plan disappeared. On the only window of the incense hall, there was a piece of cloth hanging on it. If I was not mistaken, the old Taoist priest must have run away!
Just like that night at the Chen family, the action was silent.
"Are you trying to test how many lives I have?"
Stunned, Xiang Jiannan wanted to turn around to see the pig demon again, but he only saw a pair of blood-red eyes approaching him. In fear, he stepped back out of habit and was tripped by the threshold and sat on the ground again.
My life is over, you stinky Taoist!
