Chapter 205: The shock of engine design

The atmosphere in the conference room suddenly became solemn. Yaoguang and Xinghui looked at each other, then nodded slightly. They quickly adjusted the angle of the holographic projection to further magnify the core part of the engine circuit, and a clear path of psychic energy flow appeared before their eyes.

"This main circuit... adopts a double-layer superimposed spiritual energy flow structure." Yaoguang said slowly, and with a light stroke of his finger, the energy simulation data of the circuit immediately emerged.

"That's right," Xinghui stared at the unusually efficient energy transmission channels, his voice filled with a hint of disbelief. "According to traditional theory, this circuit structure should cause psychic energy conflicts and even the risk of overload and burns. However, this design perfectly solves this problem, allowing the flow of psychic energy to become incredibly smooth."

"This is no longer just a Jindan-level optimization." Yaoguang took a deep breath and spoke solemnly, "Strictly speaking, this structure already has the prototype of a Yuanying-level engine."

The engineers around held their breath, staring at the projected data, their eyes filled with shock.

"But who designed this?" Finally, someone couldn't help but ask in a low voice.

"I heard it was Engineer Hong." A young engineer replied.

"Engineer Hong?" Yaoguang frowned. "Isn't he known for his steady, traditional optimization methods? This design style is completely different from his previous technical approach."

Xinghui also looked thoughtful. "Old Hong's technical prowess is unquestionable, but his designs have always pursued stability. While this blueprint is extremely efficient, it carries a radical style that doesn't belong to the older generation of repairmen."

Someone murmured, "Could it be an unfinished project he left behind when he was young?"

"That's not right," Yaoguang decisively denied. "The data flow calculation method above is clearly derived based on the progress of psychic technology in the past decade. Old Hong has been working in the workshop on the ground floor all these years and has never been exposed to the cutting-edge research at the top level."

For a moment, the entire conference room fell silent.

The director of R&D slowly walked to the table, reached out and closed the discussion panel, and said calmly, "No matter who did it, research is our top priority."

Everyone immediately stood in awe, suppressed all gossip, and refocused their attention on the design drawings.

"The psychic energy conduction structure of this blueprint is very sophisticated, but there is still an obvious shortcoming." The director glanced at the holographic projection and lightly tapped his finger. A psychic energy node in the center of the circuit was magnified, flashing with a faint red light.

"Here," he whispered, "although it's extremely efficient, its load-bearing stability is insufficient. If it operates at high load for too long, it's likely to cause a core overload."

Xinghui pondered for a moment and nodded, "Indeed, according to the spiritual energy consumption pattern of a conventional Jindan-level mecha, this circuit operation can last for about eight hundred breaths before entering an overloaded state."

"But if we can solve this problem..." Yaoguang said slowly, his eyes gleaming with excitement, "This will not only be a Jindan-level mecha engine, but a spiritual energy circulation system that can truly support Yuanying-level mechas!"

This sentence was like a bombshell, instantly igniting the atmosphere of the entire conference room.

"This may be the key for us to open the door to the Nascent Soul-level mecha!" the director said solemnly.

The engineers on site all showed expressions of surprise and whispered to each other, thinking about how to break through the current technical bottleneck.

"We've been striving to improve the Jindan mecha's capabilities, but we've never been able to truly break through," the director said slowly, pointing to the core circuit on the screen. "But this design may be the breakthrough we've been searching for."

He paused, his tone more resolute. "From now on, each group will lead a task to research the circuit's psychic energy carrying capacity, stability, and adaptability. We must apply this technology to Jindan-class mechas as quickly as possible, and even... lay the foundation for future Yuanying-class mechas."

The air was filled with a tense and exciting atmosphere. Everyone realized that they were standing on the brink of a technological revolution, and this blueprint would become a sharp blade in their hands, cutting through the limits of the Jindan-level mecha and even touching the possibility of the Yuanying level.

The entire R&D department was instantly engulfed in a tense yet vibrant atmosphere. Data streams continuously flashed across the screens, and every curve, every change in energy flow, could determine the success or failure of this technology.

Yaoguang's brow furrowed, his fingers swiping rapidly across the virtual interface, constantly adjusting the fluidity of the psychic circuit. His eyes were filled with concentration, and every calculation optimization was a step towards a more perfect psychic matching solution.

"If we can make the psychic circuit adapt to different psychic energy fluctuations, then the compatibility of this engine will not only be limited to Jindan-level mechas, but can even be suitable for drivers with different combat styles." Yaoguang muttered to himself, and then called up several sets of comparative data on the virtual interface for further simulation calculations.

Elsewhere, Xinghui's team was fully engaged in testing the engine's psychic energy carrying capacity. Inside the lab, the psychic simulation chamber emitted a low humming sound, and groups of numbers danced on the holographic screen. They constantly adjusted the test parameters, allowing the psychic energy to flow through different paths, in order to find the optimal energy carrying mode.

"If the load exceeds 1,500 breaths, the psychic circuit will begin to produce unstable fluctuations." An engineer reported with a hint of solemnity in his tone.

"In other words, the current structure can only support high-intensity combat for a maximum of fifteen minutes." Xinghui frowned, "But if we can optimize the psychic buffer layer, we can extend the duration of the battle..."
