Chapter 53 Drawing of Structural Diagrams

Xiang Fan stared at the mech in a daze, rolling up and then unfolding the blueprint in his hand. He sighed, "I've found the problem, but where are the parts? My dad's monthly income isn't even enough to replace the psychic circuits in this mech. I'm really broke." He looked at the mech, then at his empty storage bag. Suddenly, he had an idea.

The next day, at the garbage dump in the back mountain, the place where all the sect's "dreams were shattered," piled high with "failure cases in the world of magic weapons," Xiang Fan stepped on the scattered debris. The air was filled with the strange "scent of failure." He pinched his nose as he carefully avoided the small formation plates on the ground that could self-destruct, muttering, "This is the border between heaven and hell. If I step on a residual spiritual energy bomb, I'll probably be sent straight to heaven."

Pushing aside a pile of spiritual artifact fragments, he spotted his first "prey"—a spiritual artifact core. The core's surface was cracked like a dried winter melon, but a faint spiritual glow shone through the cracks. He excitedly picked it up and wiped it with his sleeve. "Hey! It might look like an old man's tooth, but it should be able to store spiritual energy. Let's put it in the storage bag first."

Then, he found a pile of copper sheets engraved with spiritual patterns. Although the spiritual energy was weak, the intricate design could still be seen. He squatted down and pulled them out with a grunt, wiping the mud off his hands. "This thing can also be used to repair wiring. It may look like cheap stuff, but who says cheap stuff can't save lives?"

After searching for a long time, he found a pile of spirit stone armor fragments, with spirit stones embedded in them. Although they were cracked as if they had been chopped several times, the spiritual energy had not completely dissipated. He picked up a few intact pieces and tapped them with his hands. Listening to the crisp sound, he nodded with satisfaction. "Well, if I put them together, they can still withstand a few attacks. It may not be beautiful, but at least I can deceive myself that my defense has increased."

Finally, he fished out a fragment of a spiritual mirror from the scrap metal pile. The mirror was covered in cracks, and the spiritual energy fluctuations were as faint as a dying firefly, but Xiang Fan's eyes lit up. "I've got the sensor! Although this mirror looks like the lid of someone else's failed alchemy furnace, I don't believe it can't be modified!"

He stood up, cradling a pile of loot, dusted off his clothes, and took a deep breath, like a scholar returning triumphantly from an archaeological site: "This trip was worth it! Even if it's trash, once it's in my hands, it's bound to be a treasure."
