Chapter 137 The Lost Flame Mother

Qin Zhen and his mother led Gu Niansi towards her kindergarten. They had originally planned to transfer Gu Niansi to another kindergarten, but Shen Shiyi thought that there was still a semester left and it would be too much trouble, so she refused.

Some children came up to greet Gu Niansi.

Good morning, Niannian.

Gu Niansi spoke slowly.

Good morning, Qinqin.

The lovely Qinqin looked at Qin Zhen and Qin's mother.

Are these two handsome and beautiful grandparents your grandparents?

Gu Niansi spoke proudly.

"Yes, but thank you for the compliment. You have excellent taste."

The two men laughed a little embarrassedly when they heard her answer.

The two greeted the little girl with affection, "Hello, Qinqin."

Qinqin obediently looked up and called out to people.

"Hello, Grandpa and Grandma."

The other parent was a pretty young woman, around 20 years old.

"Hello, may we go in first?"

Qin Zhen's mother nodded slightly.

"good."

Each of them led their own child into the school. Gu Niansi stood between the two, holding one child in each hand, and looked ahead with a big smile on her face.

For the two of them, this feeling was something new and exciting, as they had never experienced it before.

Seeing that several people were suddenly missing from the house, the old man looked out the window with a touch of melancholy.

"Habit is a terrible thing."

Uncle Ning, who was standing to the side, understood what he meant.

"Grandpa, wait a few more months, and the house will be even more lively."

Upon hearing this, Grandpa Su thought of the twins in his granddaughter-in-law's belly, and a smile instantly appeared on his face.

"You're right, I'll just have to put up with the peace and quiet for now, hahaha."

Su Lielong, who was preparing to take his materials outside to paint, couldn't help but laugh when he heard his grandfather's words.

Ning Bo caught a glimpse of him by chance.

"Young Master, are you preparing to paint?"

Upon hearing Ning Bo's words, the old man turned to look at his grandson.

"Why did you suddenly decide to paint? Grandpa remembers you haven't touched it for many years."

Su Lielong sneered.

"The house suddenly became quiet, and I felt like something was missing, so I painted to pass the time."

After checking the purchases, Aunt Li heard a noise in the living room and went there.

"Young master, why don't you paint a picture for the old master? Aunt Li hasn't seen you paint in a long time."

Upon hearing Aunt Li's suggestion, the grandfather and grandson exchanged bewildered glances.

Seeing the expectation in his grandfather's eyes, Su Lielong smiled faintly.

“Sure, after I finish drawing one for Grandpa, I can draw one for you too, Aunt Li.”

Mrs. Li was overjoyed to hear this.

"Really, can I do it too?" She's never been drawn before.

Hearing his grandson's words, the old man's brows relaxed.

"Sister Li, don't refuse. Just consider it as Lie Long getting some exercise."

Su Lielong smiled slightly, and Aunt Li nodded somewhat shyly.

"Alright then, I'll accept your offer. Oh, by the way, does this outfit suit me? Should I change?"

Ning Bo smiled and nodded.

"OK."

After they finished speaking, the group arrived at the pavilion. Old Master Su sat upright in a chair, and Su Lielong began to paint.

Seeing him drawing and drawing, Li Sao, who was standing to the side, couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness in her heart.

The young master's life is truly bitter. He used to love painting the most, but he gave up this hobby for the sake of his family. Now, suffering from illness, he has picked up his paintbrush again to do what he once loved.

Life is truly not easy; you never know whether tomorrow or an accident will come first.

Having just finished her busy work, Shen Shiyi heard many people say that today was Monday, and she suddenly remembered something.

"Oops."

Nan Zhan, who was standing to the side, looked up in surprise.

"What's wrong?"

Shen Shiyi pursed her lips and spoke.

"Today is my son's first day of elementary school, and I completely forgot."

Upon hearing this, the two looked at each other in bewilderment, and Xu Fen asked a question.

"Then what should we do?"

Chen Shiyi sighed helplessly.

"The only solution is to explain it to him and make it up next time." Although it's called "making it up," the meaning is different.

Not long after, Shen Shiyi sent several photos via WeChat. Upon seeing the photos, Shen Shiyi was stunned.

"Honey, did you give Fanfan to me?"

Qin Ziming spoke gently on her way back to the company.

"Yes, he originally wanted you to be with her."

Hearing this, Shen Shiyi felt a pang of guilt.

"I really forgot."

Seeing his wife's low spirits, Qin Ziming quickly comforted her.

"It's not your fault, everyone has their own responsibility."

Hearing her husband's words, the gloom in Shen Shiyi's heart vanished in an instant, and she couldn't help but smile.

"It's so good to have you."

Hearing her words, the two men couldn't help but lower their heads and continue preparing their lessons. Their long-lasting and steady relationship was a predestined fate, something not everyone could encounter. They admired it but weren't jealous; instead, they sincerely wished it well.

Since ending her previous relationship, Yan Yaru has not been in contact with any other men.

Dressed in a Chanel-inspired outfit, she sat in a coffee shop, sipping coffee and watching people come and go outside the window, her chin resting on her hand.

Suddenly, a phone rang. She looked down at her phone and saw that it was her mother calling.

"Hello, Mom."

"My dear daughter, what time do you get off work tonight? Mom will prepare your favorite dishes for you."

Hearing her mother's concern, Yan Yaru felt a warmth in her heart.

"I'll try to get back as early as possible, around 7:30."

Mother Yan said gently, "Okay, but remember to balance work and rest, and don't overwork yourself."

Yan Ya replied with a faint smile.

"Okay, my dear mother."

Seeing the phone call end, Yan Yaru fell into deep thought.

In the living room, Yan's mother kept staring at her phone until the screen went black, then she looked away and put the phone in her pocket.
