In the middle of the night, Shen Jiarou was woken up by a kick in her stomach from the babies.
"Ouch."
Qin Ziming immediately woke up with a start.
"Honey, what's wrong?"
Shen Shiyi stroked her belly.
"It's nothing, I was just woken up by the babies kicking me."
Qin Ziming felt a pang of heartache upon hearing this and began to gently comfort his wife.

The two lay down gently, Qin Ziming embraced his wife with both hands, and slowly closed his eyes.
Morning dewdrops on leaves, the sun slowly rises, and sunlight streams into the living room through the French windows.
The old man who was drinking tea with Uncle Ning looked up and glanced outside.
"They should get up soon."
Uncle Ning nodded slightly.
"Shiyi has been here for eight months, hasn't she?"
Aunt Qu, who was getting up to take Gu Niansi to school, couldn't help but chime in when she heard what the old man was saying.
"Yes, that's about it. I'll be giving birth soon."
She needs to check when she has free time to see what's missing and make up for it quickly, otherwise she'll be in a lot of trouble later.

That masseuse had a really strong grip; she's still in pain all over.
Grandpa Su waved his hand.

Su Fei, who was pulling Gu Nian out of the elevator, completely agreed with her father's words.
“Dad is right, honey, let’s go shopping after we drop the kids off later.”

Hearing her son's words, Qin's mother nodded slightly.
"Okay, once Shiyi remembers and has breakfast, I'll take her there."
Qin Ziming smiled gently at his mother.
"Thank you for your hard work."
Qin's mother smiled.
"We're all family, what's the hardship?"
When Shen Shiyi woke up, she was stunned to learn that her mother-in-law was going to take her for a prenatal checkup.
"Mom, why do we suddenly need to go for a prenatal checkup?"
Didn't she just go last week?
Qin's mother peeled the egg for her and handed it to her.

Shen Shiyi never expected to see Bie Lai again, and she pursed her lips slightly as she spoke.
