Seeing Leng's mother get up, Qin's mother quickly spoke up.
"Please sit down. I'm so sorry, the baby started crying and that's why we were delayed."
Leng Mu chuckled and shook her head.
"It's alright."
Seeing her chubby baby, Leng's eyes were practically glued to him. Seeing this, Qin's mother smiled and spoke.
"How about you give me a hug?"
Upon hearing this, Leng's mother looked up in surprise.
"Huh? Me?"
Hearing this, she was somewhat tempted and looked up at Qin's mother.
"May I?"
Qin's mother smiled gently and nodded.

Qin's mother got up and handed the baby to Leng's mother, who carefully took the baby, afraid that she might have handled it too roughly.
Seeing her like this, Qin's mother covered her face and laughed.
"Are you feeling alright? Look, the baby is even smiling at you."
When Leng's mother saw her baby's smile, she smiled too.
"It's been a month and a half now."
Qin's mother nodded slightly.
"Yes, time flies. Oh, you went to see Shiyi today, how is she?"
She's been taking care of her two babies lately and wants to go to the hospital, but she's afraid something might happen to them, or she'll break down.

In comparison, their connection with Shiyi seemed rather shallow.
Qin Ziming rarely came home to see his babies, but when he entered the living room, he found his mother holding one of them. Both of them were stunned for a moment. Qin's mother turned around and, seeing that it was her son, quickly got up.
"Zi Mo is back, come and sit down."
Originally there were three adults, but suddenly there were four.
A month later, Qin Ziming began to get anxious.
During this period, Lu Zhiyao officially became Qin Ziming's special assistant.
As he walked into the office, he saw his company's vice president standing alone in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, and he sighed helplessly.

That morning, Qin Ziming woke up as usual. Before going to work, he whispered words of longing in his wife's ear.
"Honey, I miss you every day, but I have to go to work soon to earn money for baby formula. Be good to me."
After saying that, he placed warm kisses on his wife's forehead and the tip of her nose, and then left satisfied.
After finishing his work, he went to the hospital ward to take care of his patient.
"Honey, I closed a big deal today. I'll come see you as soon as I'm done. I'm worried you'll be lonely, so I'll have Mom and Auntie bring the babies over for you to see sometime, okay? Let me tell you, they're both growing up beautifully, and they're not malnourished at all despite being premature."
Shen Shiyi felt a lot of noise around her and forced herself to wake up. She opened her eyes and saw a white ceiling, and she froze. She looked down at the man who had spoken, and when their eyes met, time seemed to stand still.
A moment later, Qin Ziming finally realized what was happening.
"Honey, you're awake?"

Qin Ziming could hardly believe his eyes. He tried to rub them, but all he saw was his wife with her eyes open. For a moment, Qin Ziming was so excited he wanted to jump up.
"Honey, that's great, you're finally awake."
Hearing the commotion inside, Ji Xuanchen and the others couldn't help but exchange bewildered glances. Encouraged by the others, Chen Tinghai entered the ward.
"Boss, has the young mistress woken up?"
Qin Ziming finally found a reason to be happy. He took a long stride and gave Chen Tinghai a bear hug, making the grown man Chen Tinghai almost shut up.
"Um, Boss, could you let go of me first?"
Feeling that he was about to stop breathing, Qin Ziming awkwardly let go of him.
"Sorry, I'm afraid that if I hug my wife, I'll scare her."
Chen Tinghai was helpless.
Boss, aren't you afraid of scaring me?
It's really too hard for him.
