Nangong Zixin came to see Shen Shiyi several times afterward, but each time she returned disappointed. Shen Shiyi was cold and aloof by nature, and she would only say a few words to anyone.
Recently, Shen Shiyi underwent a field training exercise in the local area. In a mountain, she, as a sniper, needed to eliminate her "enemy".
In this forest, they split into two teams. One team consisted of Shen Shiyi alone, while the other team consisted of 20 people, each further divided into two smaller groups to surround and capture her. Her training this time focused on single-handed combat, meaning she had to fight alone and maintain high vigilance at all times. As night falls, the mountains are filled with the sounds of insects and birds, and occasionally the roars of larger wild animals.
I've heard there are many wild boars in these mountains. Unlike domesticated poultry, wild boars are fierce and brutal, especially their long, curved, and sharp teeth. They run extremely fast, so you have to be very careful of them at night.
The morning sun shone brightly, illuminating the mountains and forests. Sunlight filtered through the leaves and fell on our faces, creating a scene as beautiful as a day after rain. Unfortunately, no one dared to relax due to the special environment.

In a patch of grass, the woman, disguised as a leaf, carefully observed her surroundings. She had heard the conversation between the two men clearly.
With a smirk, *thump...thump*.
The two men who had been chatting earlier were hit by blank bullets. They looked at each other and were both stunned. What happened?
Before they could react, Shen Shiyi took the newly acquired sniper rifle and left for the next sniping location.
Over the next few hours, all the hidden enemies were dealt with one by one, and the team arrived at the command post on time at 13:00 in the afternoon.
"Reporting, Shen Shiyi has completed this training and is reporting for duty." The report was delivered with impressive momentum, a loud voice, and perfect marching and salute.
Inside the command center, everyone saw Shen Shiyi in camouflage, her face painted with different shades of green. The others saluted the victorious soldiers.
A lieutenant general approached. "You've worked hard. The vehicle is ready; you can go back and get some rest." The entire army held this female soldier in utter admiration. Young and capable, she exuded a heroic and spirited aura wherever she stood, radiating the essence of a soldier.
Hearing her leader's words, Shen Shiyi respectfully replied, "Yes."
An hour later, he finally returned to his unit, went back to his room to change, and left his residence five minutes later wearing a clean military green uniform.
On a training field, I saw Niannian, who was training with me, and I went over and hugged her small body.
"Remember it."
Hmm, she hasn't lost weight. Looks like her brothers are taking good care of her.
Smelling the familiar scent, the little girl buried her head in her mother's neck, savoring that familiar aroma. "Mommy."
Her voice was soft and endearing, and the arms around her tightened.
"Shiyi, you're back." The brothers were overjoyed to see their comrade return after several days. They greeted each other warmly. Although this was the army, the brothers were still flesh and blood, each a man exuding masculinity and ruggedness. In the army, they shared a special bond with their comrades.
Looking at familiar people and familiar things, his expression remained unchanged, just like it had been for years.
"Thank you! You've taken very good care of Niannian."
A comrade patted his chest with great pride. "Hey, what's the big deal? If it weren't for Niannian, our military life would be so boring. Niannian's arrival has changed our lives a bit. Besides, she's a very well-behaved girl; we don't need to worry about anything at all."

A woman with slightly gray hair stood by, concerned for her child. It was a visiting day, and many parents had come. "Fengwa, you have to take good care of yourself in the army, okay? You need to get along well with your comrades."
Her son is honest and kind, but he hasn't gotten married yet, which is making this old woman very anxious.
A casual glance caught my eye, and I thought I saw someone familiar. I immediately followed, searching for that familiar figure from my memory.
The man was stunned. "Mom, what's wrong?" he cried. "Mom, Mom, what are you doing?"
I saw my mother walking hurriedly, as if she was looking for something.
"Aunt He, wait!" she called out, panting as she caught up. The person walking ahead stopped and turned to look at the strange old woman, wary.
When Shen Shiyi's oval face turned around, the old woman froze, her eyes wide with shock and disbelief, her heart filled with mixed emotions.
Oh, is that the young mistress? She's not dead.
"Young Madam, is that you? Are you still alive? Tell Aunt He." How could someone who has been dead for almost six years not be shocked when someone who looks exactly like her suddenly appears before her?
