Chapter 88 Sophie is Old Master Su's youngest daughter

Knowing that this was the future mistress of the house, Wang Ma dared not slack off in the slightest.

"Miss Shen, please come with me."

Chen Shiyi nodded politely to Wang Ma.

"Thank you for your trouble, Aunt Wang."

"Miss Chen, you're too kind." She seemed to be a polite and well-mannered person, neither servile nor arrogant, which was quite nice.

Wang Ma led her to the corridor to look at the portrait.

“These paintings were all collected by the eldest son, and some of them were even painted by him personally.”

Shen Shiyi was taken aback, recalling the person in the ward, she didn't expect him to be able to paint.

Shen Shiyi looked at the paintings carefully, her attention drawn to the one at the very back. Seeing Miss Shen stop, Wang Ma asked in surprise.

"What's wrong, Miss Shen?"

Looking up, he noticed her gaze was fixed on the portrait, and he seemed puzzled.

Wang Ma: Is there something wrong with this painting?

"It's nothing, I just feel like the person in the portrait looks familiar." After thinking for a while, she realized that the woman in the painting looked somewhat similar to Aunt Su.

Wang Ma laughed when she heard that.

"This is an oil painting that the eldest young master painted for his aunt a few years ago."

"His aunt? Isn't that Zimo's mother?"

Wang Ma smiled.

“Zi Mo’s mother is the eldest son, and the young master also has an aunt.”

With her doubts still lingering, Shen Shiyi continued to follow Wang Ma on a tour of the old house.

Sophie received the message, took the children home, and took out her key to open the door.

Hearing the commotion, Qin's mother and Aunt Qu looked towards the door. The first to appear were the two children. When Su Fei's face appeared, Qin's mother's eyes widened instantly.

"Xiao Fei?" She's still alive.

Aunt Qu was taken aback. "You two know each other?"

Hey, that's weird, everyone here is a familiar face.

Sophie was stunned to see her sister, whom she hadn't seen for over 20 years, suddenly appear before her eyes. She was at a loss for words and her eyes became uneasy.

Qin's mother walked over and questioned her.

"Where have you been all these years? Why can't we find you no matter how hard we look for you?"

Although Aunt Qu was confused, she still tried to smooth things over.

"Um... let's sit down and talk, standing is tiring."

Aunt Qu stepped forward and asked Qin's mother to sit down, and then asked Su Fei to sit down as well. The sisters met, but there was no excited embrace; instead, Qin's mother kept wiping away her tears.

“You’ve not contacted your family for so many years. Do you know how worried Dad, my older brother, and I are about you?”

Sophie never expected that the guest at her home would be her own sister, whom she hadn't seen for over 20 years.

"Sister, I'm sorry."

When Qin's mother heard her sister speak, she was both angry and heartbroken.

“You’ve let down not only us, but also yourself. We raised you with such care, not so you could suffer in someone else’s home.”

The two children were also taken aback by the sudden turn of events, but they both sat obediently on the sofa.

After showing Shen Shiyi around, Wang Ma led her towards the living room. Shen Shiyi felt the urge to use the restroom and quickly called out to Wang Ma.

"Wang Ma, could you tell me where the restroom is?"

Upon hearing this, Wang Ma quickly pointed to one side.

"Oh, I'll take you there."

Shen Shiyi went to the toilet, and Wang Ma came to the living room to reply.

"Grandpa, Miss Shen has already toured the villa."

Grandpa Su, who was sitting on the sofa drinking tea, did not look up when he heard Wang Ma's words.

"Okay, I understand."

Seeing that Wang Ma had not left, Old Master Su looked up in confusion.

"What, is there something else?"

After thinking for a moment, Wang Ma finally voiced her doubts.

"When I was showing Miss Shen around the corridor, I noticed that she kept staring at a painting that the eldest son had drawn when he was a teenager. I asked her about it, and she said it felt very familiar."

Grandpa Su was shocked to hear this: Could it be that Shiyi knows his youngest daughter?

During the meal, Grandpa Su's seemingly casual gaze made Shen Shiyi very uncomfortable. After putting down her chopsticks, she asked him in confusion.

"Grandpa, is there something you want to ask me?" I felt that the old man's eyes had been strange ever since he went to the toilet.

Seeing that he could no longer hide his gaze, Old Master Su had no choice but to tentatively speak out.

"How did you feel after looking at those paintings?"

After thinking it over, Shen Shiyi gave an objective evaluation.

"The painting is quite beautiful; the artist clearly put a lot of thought into it."

Grandpa Su smiled knowingly when he saw that his assessment was accurate.

“Your older brother was actually quite skilled in this area, but he gave it up because of family reasons.”

Shen Shiyi understood the family reasons he mentioned, and pursed her lips slightly.

"Too."

When Grandpa Su saw that she didn't say anything else, he became a little anxious.

"The last painting you saw was drawn by Lielong when he was a teenager."

Shen Shiyi didn't think much of it when the old man suddenly brought it up.

"According to Wang Ma, it was drawn by the eldest brother for his little aunt."

Grandpa Su finally brought the topic to this point.

"Yes, the painting is quite captivating."

Shen Shiyi pursed her lips slightly.

"I just felt like I recognized it."

Grandpa Su pressed for an answer.

"Oh, someone you know?"

Shen Shiyi thought about it carefully.

"My Aunt Su." That's right, it's Aunt Su, her eyes look so much like hers.

Grandpa Su was startled.

Do you have a photo together?

Shen Shiyi shook her head.

"Neither Aunt Su nor I have any, but she and her two children do."

Grandpa Su became somewhat agitated.

"Can Grandpa take a look?"

At this moment, Shen Shiyi began to realize what was happening. She nodded slightly, took out her phone to check her contacts, and finally found a group photo of the three of them.

"Look."

When Grandpa Su took the photo, his hands began to tremble.

"It's her, it's her." He had finally found his daughter after searching for more than 20 years.
