At the dining table, everyone ate their dinner quietly. Grandpa Su looked at the family and spoke to Qin Ziming.
"Zimo, drink more of the chicken soup that the kitchen makes. You have a lot to face ahead, so you need to be in good health to get through it."
Qin Ziming raised her head and looked at her grandfather.
"Grandpa, I understand. Please rest assured, Uncle, and Brother, I will handle everything." It's just a change of battlefield.
The three nodded in satisfaction, and Su Lielong raised his drink glass.
"Come, let me toast you, brother. May my brother be invincible and victorious in every battle."
Qin Ziming smiled and spoke.
"Thank you, brother. I appreciate your kind words." He will try his best.
The others were very pleased to see the two brothers getting along so well.
Sophie was making dinner with Aunt Qu in her own kitchen. As she was chopping green peppers, she was mentally counting down the days.
Sophie: I don't know if Zimo has been discharged from the army, when he will take over the company, or when he will marry Shiyi.
Aunt Qu noticed that she was distracted and was afraid that she would cut herself.
"Sister Fei, let me cut it."
Sophie picked up the chives again and washed them, when she heard Aunt Qu's voice in her ear.
"Sister Fei, let's have stir-fried eggs with chives, stir-fried lean pork with green peppers, cucumber and preserved egg soup, and a cold tofu salad today."
Sophie was quite satisfied with the arrangement.
"Can."
The two chatted and laughed, and the dish was quickly cooked.
The two children watching cartoons in the living room kept an eye on what was happening inside.
"Brother, Grandma and the others have cooked the food. Let's go get the bowls and chopsticks."
Shen Zhifan shook his head.
"I'll go, you just sit here quietly." My little sister's short legs are no good.
Gu Niansi nodded obediently.
"Okay, good luck, brother."
Shen Zhifan left the sofa and ran to the kitchen. The two people were puzzled when they saw him come in.
"Fanfan, what are you doing in here?"
Shen Zhifan obediently said, "Grandma Qu, I'll get the bowl. Dinner will be served soon."
The two burst out laughing upon hearing this.
Sophie looked at his small, sensible body and smiled with relief. The two of them carried the dishes to the table one after the other, and the four of them happily ate their dinner.
Aunt Qu looked at the three people who were eating seriously and offered her a suggestion.
"Let's go for a walk downstairs after we finish eating, and that will help us digest."
Gu Niansi was overjoyed and danced with delight upon hearing this.
"Yay!"
Seeing how excited she was, Sophie nodded slightly.
"Okay, then you guys eat your food properly."
Upon hearing this, the two spoke in unison.
"Yes, Grandma."
Sophie and Aunt Qu exchanged a smile and shook their heads helplessly.
After finishing their meal, Sophie and Aunt Qu each had a bowl, and Aunt Qu cleaned her own bowl. Looking at the two children in the living room, Aunt Qu couldn't help but speak.
“Look at them, they can’t wait.”
Sophie smiled indulgently and turned back to continue cleaning the bowl. After they finished cleaning, they each took one child and went downstairs.
After exiting the elevator, the two broke free of their restraints and ran towards the residential complex. Upon seeing this, Sophie's sister-in-law quickly warned them.
"Fanfan, be careful."
"Niannian, slow down."
After playing for half an hour, Gu Niansi bumped into someone's arms. When she looked up, she exclaimed in surprise.
"Uncle Qin?"
Shen Zhifan, with his sharp ears, looked up and stared in surprise.
"It really is Uncle Qin."
Qin Ziming, dressed casually, bent down and picked up Gu Niansi.
"Niannian, do you miss me?" The little girl has gained some weight since I last saw her.
Gu Niansi nodded vigorously.
"Yes, I miss you so much, I even dreamed about you."
Qin Ziming was taken aback.
"Oh, you dreamed about me? What kind of person was I in your dream?" He expressed great interest.
Gu Niansi became a little shy upon hearing this.
"Hey, you gave me a big chicken leg, and I've been munching on it ever since."
Su Fei and Qu's wife, who were on the exercise equipment, were puzzled when they saw Gu Niansi being picked up by a familiar figure.
"Sister Fei, isn't that Mr. Qin?" The figure looks similar.
Sophie nodded slightly.
"It's him." How did he suddenly appear here? Did he retire from the military? So quickly?
While she was pondering, Qin Ziming walked over carrying Gu Niansi.
"Auntie, hello Sister Qu."
The two nodded slightly.
Having spent a long time with Sophie, Aunt Qu has developed a more refined and knowledgeable demeanor, and her interpersonal skills have improved.
"Zi Mo is here."
"Hello, Mr. Qin."
Gu Niansi's serious words broke the atmosphere among them.
"Uncle Qin, when will you become my dad? Have you proposed to Mom?"
Her barrage of questions elicited a sneer from Qin Ziming.
"Haha, how old are you? You already know how to propose." Kids these days are something else.
Shen Zhifan chuckled softly.
"I also know about marriage and having children. Uncle Qin, after you and Mom get married, you must have a baby soon. I can take care of them." He can do many things now.
Everyone laughed when they heard Shen Zhifan's words.
"Oh, Fanfan, our Fanfan is so sensible."
Qin Ziming looked at the sincere and innocent little face on the ground and couldn't help but reach out and pinch it.
"Okay, Uncle Qin, you guys cheer me on, okay?"
The two nodded happily.
"good."
"good."
After playing with the group for half an hour, Qin Ziming escorted them home, but did not go inside when they arrived at their doorstep.
"Auntie, I won't be going in. I probably won't be able to visit you for a while, please forgive me. I have to go to the company."
Sophie understood his responsibility and was very understanding.
"Okay, then you should go back now. Don't worry about us here. Take good care of yourself."
