Shen Shiyi carefully looked through the menu, trying her best to cater to everyone's tastes.
"Give me an order of garlic shrimp."
The lobby manager picked up a tablet and personally entered the dishes that Shen Shiyi had ordered.
"Alright, Miss Shen."
Shen Shiyi glanced at the steamed pork ribs on the table and asked the lobby manager next to her.
"Manager, does this dish include sweet potatoes?" The two children love it.
The lobby manager stepped forward, took a look, and spoke respectfully.
"Yes, it's suitable for men, women, young and old."
Shen Shiyi nodded slightly.
"One, please."
Thinking of Qin Ziming's favorite dishes, Shen Shiyi ordered two portions for him.
"One serving each of white taro and braised pork ribs with potatoes."
Ten minutes later, Shen Shiyi ordered her food and handed the menu to the lobby manager.
"This is troublesome."
"Okay, I'll arrange it right away."
Shen Shiyi and the others nodded slightly.
After Qin's mother and the lobby manager left, they looked at Shen Shiyi.
"Shiyi, how about having Fanfan and Niannian be the flower girls at the wedding? Don't you young people all like that kind of romance?"
Sophie glanced at Chen Shiyi.
"I think it's a good idea."
Gu Niansi was so happy to hear that she could be a flower girl for her mother that she almost flew away.
"Grandma, can my brother and I really be Mom's flower girls?"
Qin's mother lovingly stroked the top of her head.
"Of course! Grandma will get you a really pretty princess dress and princess shoes, okay?"
Gu Niansi cheered.
"Great! Can I wear the crown?"
"Sure, Mom will be the most beautiful bride then, and our Niannian will be the most beautiful little princess."
Gu Niansi said happily, "Yes, then brother is the most handsome little prince."
Sophie laughed when she heard that.
"Then what is Uncle Qin?"
Gu Niansi tilted her head and pursed her lips in deep thought.
"Oh, I see. Uncle Qin is a domineering CEO."
Upon hearing this, Shen Shiyi couldn't help but pinch her daughter's chubby little face.
"You."
Her doting tone exuded maternal tenderness.
Qin's mother looked up at her son.
"Zimo, when are you and Shiyi going to get your marriage certificate? Do you need a photographer to follow you?" She found the photographer online.
Qin Ziming looked tenderly at his wife, who was sitting upright to the side.
"Shiyi and I will get our marriage certificate tomorrow."
Upon hearing this, Qin's mother laughed even more heartily.
"Okay, hurry up and get your marriage certificate, then the wedding, and then you should have a baby. During this time, take care of your health, balance work and rest, and give your two children a younger brother or sister."
Qin Ziming put his arm around Shen Shiyi's shoulder and looked at his mother.
"Okay, Shiyi and I will do our best."
Qin's mother nodded in satisfaction.
"good."
At this moment, the door to the private room was pushed open, and two waiters and a food runner walked into the round table together.
"Your snacks—pumpkin pancakes, brown sugar glutinous rice cakes, fried crispy pork, and fried oyster mushrooms—have arrived. Please enjoy."
Everyone nodded politely in thanks.
Thank you.
Qin's mother picked up her chopsticks and gave each of her two children a pumpkin cake and a brown sugar glutinous rice cake.
"Niannian, Fanfan, try it quickly."
The two thanked them very politely.
"Thank you, Grandma."
"Thank you, Grandma."
Qin's mother lovingly patted Gu Niansi's head.
Other dishes were served one after another, and Sophie invited Aunt Qu to eat.
"Sister Qu, come and try these ribs."
Aunt Qu quickly thanked her.
"OK, thanks."
Qin Ziming picked up a potato from in front of him and put it in Shen Shiyi's bowl.
"Shiyi, try the dishes we make at our restaurant." Potatoes are one of her favorites.
In return, Shen Shiyi placed a taro on his plate.
"The taro you like to eat."
The interaction between the two was observed by the other five people, and everyone wore a relieved smile.
After the meal, Qin Ziming offered to take them home, but Su Fei refused.
"No need. It's rare for you two to get together, so take the time to nurture your relationship. We two can still take care of the two kids."
Aunt Qu also quickly expressed her agreement.
"Yes, you don't need to worry about us."
Qin's mother, who was standing nearby, also chimed in with her advice.
"Go ahead, it's a rare opportunity to get together."
The two finally looked at each other and nodded. Shen Shiyi looked at Su Fei Qu Sao and spoke gently.
"Okay, then please be careful on your way."
Watching them leave, Qin Ziming took her hand.
"Let's go, let's have some alone time."
Chen Shiyi
I was amused by her serious tone.
The two figures moved through the crowd. A street photographer took pictures of them and posted them online, but fortunately they were intercepted before the New Year.
When Qin Ziming received the phone call he had received before the Lunar New Year when he got home that evening, he was taken aback.
"Photo? Send it to me, thanks."
When Qin Ziming received the photos sent to her via WeChat before the Lunar New Year, she raised her hand to open them and was amazed by the photographer's shooting techniques and angles.
Qin Ziming: It's really beautiful, like the male and female protagonists in a novel. The other party adjusted the color tone, and the whole atmosphere changed.
"Send me that photographer's information." We can't waste talent; we need to nurture it properly.
Sitting on the sofa, feeling languid, he still decided to send the photos to Shen Shiyi.
Shen Shiyi, having just finished washing up, lay on the bed in her cotton and linen pajamas. She picked up her phone and saw unread WeChat messages; she opened them with a puzzled look.
A photo full of atmosphere comes into view.
"This is us, right? When was this taken?" She hadn't even noticed.
Qin Ziming smiled, pursing his lips.
